Overview

The SNMP management feature provides an easy way to manage multiple
wePresent devices remotely. By enabling the SNMP (Simple Network Management
Protocol) protocol (Version 3), the device could be managed and congured
through the network. Furthermore, it can also congure and start the FTP Firmware
upgrade from SNMP manager.

2.1 SNMP V3 setting
You have to select the SNMP V3 mode and input the login information. You can
modify these login settings in WiPG1500 webpage.
t User Name: admin (Default value is admin)
t Security Level: auth, priv
t Auth Algorithm: MD5
t Auth Password: Authadmin (Default value is Authadmin)
t Privacy Algorithm: DES
t Privacy Password: Privadmin (Default value is Privadmin)

2.2 Simple Mode
In simple mode, it will list all available devices on each setting items, people can see
and modify multiple device simultaneously.
*For the “Read only” item, the column of new value input area is disabled.
* For the “Read/Written” item, you could modify the setting for a bunch of devices at the
same time.
2.3 Advance Mode
In advance mode, you can choose one of the connected devices, and check/
congure all detail information from the right hand side.

2.4 Firmware Upgrade Setup
You can use the “rmware upgrade setup” to upgrade multiple or single device.
Please input required information into these columns.
t Host Address: congure the FTP address.
t Port Number: congure the FTP port number.
t Account: congure the FTP login account.
t Password: congure the FTP login password.
t Firmware upgrade: set “1” value to start upgrade.
t Upgrade Status: show the upgrade status. Please refer to the following table.
t Download Progress: show download progress.
