Use a light touch

A feather touch will create better joints

and prolong tip life

Use the correct angle

Correct:

Work piece makes contact

with both halves of tip.

Use short bursts of heat

This tool is intended for short bursts of heat.

Do not dwell on a single joint for a long duration
