The Video Episcope system is simple to setup.
Connect the Video Episcope to the Camera Head by engaging the threads of each component and threading until hand tight. To adjust
the orientation of the fiber optic bundle port on the Episcope, loosen the Episcope from the Camera Head and either tighten or loosen
the adjustment ring on the Episcope. Then re-tighten the episcope to the camera head Plug the LEMO connector at the end of the
camera cable into the mating connector on the
front panel of the Imaging and Illumination Platform Box.
Thread the universal light post into the illumination port at the front end of the Episcope.
Plug the opposite end of the fiber optic bundle into the Illumination port on the front panel
of the Platform box.
Following the Imaging and Illumination system instructions, connect the Platform Box to a video monitor and turn on the system.
Position the Episcope on the skin surface and adjust the focus as necessary
until the reticle on the cover plate is in focus.
Rotate the cover plate on the episcope until the reticle is oriented correctly on the video
screen.
