before using the resistance system accessory.

1. Read all instructions in this manual before
using the resistance system accessory. Use
the resistance system accessory only as
described in this manual.

2. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure
that all users of the resistance system acces­sory are adequately informed of all precau­tions.

3. The resistance system accessory is intended
for home use only. Do not use the resistance
system accessory in any commercial, rental,
or institutional setting.

4. Always wear athletic shoes for foot protec­tion while exercising.

5. Make sure that all parts are properly tight­ened each time the resistance system acces­sory is used. Replace any worn parts imme­diately.

6. The resistance system accessory is
designed to be used with the WEIDER PLAT­INUM resistance system.

7. Make sure the curl knob is in place and fully
tightened each time the curl pad is used.

8. If you feel pain or dizziness while exercising,
stop immediately and begin cooling down.

is especially important for persons over the age of 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems.

the WEIDER®PLA
groups of the arms and legs.

ASSEMBLY

Make Things Easier for Yourself

This manual is designed to ensure that the resist­ance system accessory can be assembled suc­cessfully by most people.

Before beginning assembly, carefully read the
following information and instructions:

•

Assembly requires two persons.

• Place all parts in a cleared area and remove the

packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing
materials until assembly is completed.

• Tighten all parts as you assemble them, unless

instructed to do otherwise.

1. Remove the Cotter Pin (A) from the lower Leg
Station Pin (B). Remove the Leg Station Pin from
the original Leg (C). Remove the Cable (S) from
the original Leg Lever (D).

• As you assemble the resistance system accesso-

ry, make sure that all parts are oriented as shown
in the drawings.

The following tools (not included) are required
for assembly:

• One adjustable wrench

• One rubber mallet

• One Phillips screwdriver

• Two Allen wrenches
(included with the
resistance system)

Remove the Cotter Pin (A) from the upper Leg
Station Pin (B). Remove the Leg Station Pin from
the Leg (C) and the Leg Lever (D).

Remove the two Large Foam Pads (E) and the
Pad Tube (F) from the Leg Lever (D). Set the Leg
Lever aside.

Remove the two Large Foam Pads (E) and the
Pad Tube (F) from the Leg (C).

Slide the two Pad Tubes (F) removed in step 1

into the new Leg Lever (9). Slide the four Large
Foam Pads (E) onto the Pad Tubes.
