de sortie de 3 VDC (tension continue) et doit pouvoir livrer un courant
de 2,5 A. Pour le branchement d'un autre adaptateur sur le chargeur
universel P200-LCD, celui-ci doit être muni d'une fiche 5,5/2,1 mm
(positive à l'intérieur, négative à l'extérieur).
Recharge d'accus
• Sélectionnez à l'aide du commutateur de sélection (5) le type de
l'accu en place. Mettez le commutateur de sélection pour les
accus au NiMH en position centrale, pour les accus au NiCd à
fond sur la gauche et pour les accus alcalines rechargeables à
fond sur la droite.
• Insérez les accus à recharger dans les compartiments de
recharge (1). Il est possible de recharger jusqu'à quatre accus en
même temps. Pendant la recharge des accus R3 et R6, il est possible de recharger un accu bloc 9V dans le compartiment de
recharge correspondant (6).
• Il est interdit de basculer le commutateur de sélection (5)
après l’insertion des accus. Dans ce cas, le chargeur passe
en mode de défaut (affichage « BAD »).
• Le chargeur passe ensuite automatiquement en mode de charge.
Ce mode est indiqué par l'allumage de la LED d'état de charge en
rouge (2) se trouvant au-dessus de chaque compartiment de
recharge ainsi que par l'affichage en barre et l'affichage « CHA »
(charge = charger) sur l'écran (4). Les accus au NiCd sont d'abord
déchargés – l'affichage « DIS » (discharge = décharger) sur
l'écran, les LED d'état de charge s'allument en orange. La

Sicherheitshinweise
• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen darf das Gerät nicht
geöffnet oder umgebaut werden!
• Laden Sie mit diesem Gerät nur Nickel-Metallhydrid- (NiMH) und
Nickel-Cadmium- (NiCd) Akkus, sowie aufladbare Alkali-Akkus
(RAM-Zellen). Laden Sie niemals Einwegbatterien.
• Laden Sie niemals verschiedene Akkutypen (NiMH, NiCd oder
RAM). Das Gerät kann maximal 4 gleichartige Zellen gleichzeitig
laden. Gleichzeitiges Laden von verschiedenen Akkutypen kann
zum Platzen, Auslaufen und sogar zu Personenverletzungen führen. Schließen Sie niemals die Ladekontakte oder Akkus kurz! Es
ist normal, dass sich die Akkus beim Aufladen erwärmen. Neu
aufgeladene Akkus vorsichtig handhaben!
• Das Universalladegerät P200-LCD darf nicht mit Feuchtigkeit oder
Nässe in Verbindung kommen.
• Das Gerät sowie die Akkus sind kein Kinderspielzeug, halten Sie
es von Kindern fern!
• Decken Sie niemals die Lüftungsschlitze der Gerätes ab. Stellen
Sie das Gerät auf eine glatte, schwer entflammbare Oberfläche.
Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung, unsachgemäße Handhabung oder
Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht
werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch! Für Folgeschäden, Sach- oder Personenschäden übernehmen
wir keine Haftung!

Description du produit
Ce chargeur universel P200-LCD permet la charge d'accus rechargeables au NiCd ou NiMH du type mono, LR14, R6 (AA), R3 (AAA)
ainsi que du type bloc 9V qui sont adaptés au courant de charge indiqué dans les caractéristiques techniques. Après avoir inséré les accus au NiCd dans le chargeur, ils sont automatiquement déchargés
pour éviter l'effet mémoire. La recharge des accus est commandée
par le processeur suivant le procédé Minus Delta U, c'est-à-dire
chaque accu est rechargé complètement sans être surchargé indépendamment de l'état de charge initial. Puisqu'il y a des types d'accus différents, chaque compartiment de recharge est muni d'une
surveillance. Ainsi, chaque accu est rechargé dépendant de sa capacité maximale. Après la recharge, il n'est pas nécessaire d'enlever les
accus du chargeur. La charge de maintien compense l'auto-décharge des accus et empêche ainsi une surcharge. En outre, cet appareil
permet de charger des accus alcalins rechargeables. Ceux-ci sont
rechargés à l'aide d'une tension constante; la tension finale de charge de 1,73 V ou la tension en circuit ouvert de l'accu alcaline rechargeable de 1,69 V adapte la recharge à l'accu en place.

Bedienung
Spannungsversorgung
Bestimmen Sie die gewünschte Spannungsversorgung. Es stehen
Ihnen das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Steckernetzgerät für 230 VACSteckdosen, sowie optionale Adapter mit den Ausgangsdaten
3 VDC/2,5 A (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder-Adapter zum Betrieb in Campingwagen o. ä.) zur Auswahl.
Stecken Sie das Steckernetzgerät in eine Steckdose. Stecken Sie
den DC-Stecker des Steckernetzgerätes oder Adapters in die DCEingangsbuchse (8) an der oberen Stirnseite des P200-LCD. Wenn
das Steckernetzgerät in Ordnung ist, leuchtet die Power-LED (3) rot.
Leuchtet die LED nicht, überprüfen Sie bitte die Spannungsversorgung.

Utilisation prévue
Cet appareil permet la charge d'accus rechargeables au NiCd ou
NiMH du type mono, LR14, R6 (AA), R3 (AAA) ainsi que du type bloc
9V qui sont adaptés au courant de charge indiqué dans les caractéristiques techniques. En outre, cet appareil permet de charger des
accus alcalins rechargeables. Pour l'alimentation en courant, n'utilisez que l'adaptateur fourni (adaptateur secteur 230 V AC 50/60 Hz)
ou un adaptateur secteur 3 VDC/2,5 A. Le chargeur n'est à utiliser et
à stocker que dans un environnement sec. Tout contact avec l'humidité est à éviter.
Contenu de l'emballage
Le contenu de l'emballage comprend le chargeur universel P200LCD, un adaptateur secteur et le mode d'emploi.
Toute utilisation autre que celle stipulée ci-dessus provoque l'endommagement de ce produit ainsi que des risques
de courts-circuits, d'incendie et d'électrocution. L'ensemble du produit ne doit être ni modifié, ni transformé et le
boîtier ne doit pas être ouvert !

• Nachdem die Zellen vollgeladen sind, schaltet das Ladegerät
automatisch auf zyklische Erhaltungsladung um. Dies wird durch
grünes Leuchten der Ladezustands-LEDs (2) über jedem Schacht
sowie durch die Anzeige „OK“ im Display (4) angezeigt. Die Akkus
müssen nach Beendigung des Ladeverfahrens nicht aus dem
Ladegerät entnommen werden. Die Erhaltungsladefunktion verhindert ein Überladen der Akkus! Die Beendigung der 9-V-Blockladung wird durch Erlöschen der Ladezustands-LED (7)
angezeigt.
Wartung und Pflege
Trennen Sie das Ladegerät und das Steckernetzgerät vor einer Reinigung oder Wartung von allen Stromversorgungen. Zur äußerlichen
Reinigung verwenden Sie lediglich ein weiches, trockenes Reinigungstuch. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Feuchtigkeit oder Reinigungsmittel. Eine Wartung oder Reparatur darf nur durch eine
Fachkraft erfolgen, die mit den einschlägigen Vorschriften (VDE 100,
VDE 0701) vertraut ist.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie nach einem Defekt das unbrauchbar gewordene Gerät
gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Vorschriften.

and it can deliver 2.5 A current. When connecting another adapter to
your P200-LCD, make sure it is provided with a 5.5/2.1 mm output
connector (plus inside, minus outside).
Charging of batteries
• Select the type of inserted batteries via the selector (5). In the
case of NiMH batteries, put the selector in the centre position, of
NiCd batteries to the left-limit stop and of RAM cells to the rightlimit stop.
• Insert the rechargeable batteries into the charging shafts (1). You
can recharge 1 to 4 cells at the same time. When charging Micro
and Mignon cells, you can additionally charge one 9V block battery in the charging shaft (6) that is intended for that purpose.
• It is not allowed to change over the selector (5) after you have
inserted the batteries. Otherwise, it may cause a malfunction
of the battery charger and on the display will appear a malfunction indication ("BAD").
• Now the battery charger automatically switches to the charging
mode. This mode is indicated by red flashing of the status LEDs
(2), which are over the respective charging shaft, and by the bar
display as well as by the "CHA" (for charge) indication on the display (4). NiCd batteries will be discharged first – "DIS" (discharge)
is seen on the display, the charging of batteries is indicated by the
(orange) status LEDs. The charging of 9 V block batteries is indicated by the flashing of the status LED (7).
If you charge different types of cells simultaneously
or, if the selector switch has been positioned incorrectly, it could destroy the device and the batteries!
Do observe the polarity of the batteries. The correct
polarity is shown in the charging shaft.

Safety instructions
• For safety and approval reasons the unauthorized conversion or
opening of the device is prohibited!
• Please charge via this device only Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH)
and Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) batteries as well as rechargeable
alkaline batteries (RAM cells). Never recharge single-use batteries.
• Never charge different types of batteries (NiMH, NiCd or RAM).
The device can charge maximum 4 cells at a time. Simultaneous
charging of different types of batteries may lead to the leakage,
bursting of batteries and personal injury. Never short-circuit the
charging contacts or batteries! It is normal that batteries get warm
during the charging procedure. Please handle re-charged batteries with care!
• The P200-LCD universal battery charger must not come into con-
tact with moisture or wetness.
• Neither the device nor batteries are toys for children. This is why
keep them out of reach of children!
• Never cover the ventilation slots of the device. Place the device
on a smooth and flame retardant surface.
In case of any damages which are caused due to failure to observe these operating instructions, improper
operation or the failure to observe the safety instructions, the guarantee will expire! We neither assume liability for consequential damages nor for damages to
property nor personal injury!

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der bestimmungsgemäße Einsatz des Gerätes umfasst das Laden
von wiederaufladbaren NiCd- oder NiMH-Akkus des Typs Mono (C),
Baby (D), Mignon (AA) und Micro (AAA) sowie 9-V-Block-Akkus, welche für den in den technischen Daten angegebenen Ladestrom geeignet sind. Weiterhin können auch sogenannte RAM-Zellen mit dem
Gerät geladen werden. Als Spannungsversorgung dürfen nur das im
Lieferumfang enthaltene Steckernetzgerät (Spannungsversorgung
Steckernetzgerät 230 VAC 50/60 Hz) oder ein entsprechender Adapter mit den Ausgangsdaten 3 VDC/2,5 A verwendet werden. Betrieb
und Lagerung nur in trockener Umgebung; Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit
ist zu vermeiden.
Lieferumfang
Zum Lieferumfang gehören das Universalladegerät P200-LCD, ein
Steckernetzgerät sowie eine Bedienungsanleitung.
Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben führt zur
Beschädigung dieses Produktes, darüber hinaus ist dies
mit Gefahren, wie z. B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer
Schlag etc. verbunden. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht
geändert bzw. umgebaut und das Gehäuse nicht geöffnet
werden!
Die Sicherheitshinweise sind unbedingt zu beachten!

• Après la recharge complète des accus, le chargeur passe auto-
matiquement en mode de charge de maintien cyclique. Ce mode
est indiqué par l'allumage des LED d'état de charge en vert (2) se
trouvant au-dessus de chaque compartiment de recharge ainsi
que par l'affichage « OK » sur l'écran (4). Après la recharge, il
n'est pas nécessaire d'enlever les accus du chargeur. La charge
de maintien empêche une surcharge des accus ! La LED d'état de
charge (7) s’éteind si la recharge d'accu bloc 9V est terminée.
Entretien et nettoyage
Déconnectez le chargeur et l'adaptateur secteur de toute alimentation en courant avant tout nettoyage ou entretien. Pour le nettoyage de
la surface de l'appareil, un chiffon doux et sec suffit. N'utilisez jamais
de liquide ou de détergent. Une réparation ne peut être effectuée que
par un spécialiste connaissant les prescriptions légales (VDE 100,
VDE 0701).
Elimination des déchets
Jetez l'appareil devenu inutilisable après une panne suivant les lois
en vigueur.

Produktbeschreibung
Mit dem Universalladegerät P200-LCD können wiederaufladbare
NiCd- oder NiMH-Akkus des Typs Mono (C), Baby (D), Mignon (AA)
und Mikro (AAA) sowie 9-V-Block-Akkus, welche für den in den technischen Daten angegebenen Ladestrom geeignet sind, geladen werden. NiCd-Akkus werden nach dem Einlegen in das Ladegerät
automatisch entladen, um den Memory-Effekt zu vermeiden. Die Ladung der Akkus erfolgt prozessorgesteuert nach dem Minus-Delta-UVerfahren; d.h. jeder Akku wird, egal wie voll er in das Ladegerät eingelegt wird, zu 100 % geladen, ohne diesen zu überladen. Da jeder
Akku unterschiedlich reagiert, ist das Gerät selbstverständlich mit einer Einzelschachtüberwachung ausgestattet - jeder Akku wird individuell bis zu seiner maximalen Kapazität geladen. Die Akkus müssen
nach dem Laden nicht aus dem Ladegerät entnommen werden. Die
Erhaltungsladung gleicht die Selbstentladung der Akkus aus und verhindert ein Überladen. Weiterhin können auch sogenannte RAM-Zellen mit dem Gerät geladen werden. Diese werden über eine
Konstantspannung geladen; die Ladeschlussspannung von 1,73 V
bzw. die Leerlaufspannung der RAM-Zelle von 1,69 V gibt hier die
Ladeabschaltung vor.

Maniement
Alimentation en courant
Déterminez l'alimentation en courant souhaitée. Vous pouvez choisir
entre l'adaptateur secteur fourni pour les prises de courant de
230VAC ou des adaptateurs 3 VDC/2,5 A (par ex. des adaptateurs
allume-cigarettes pour l'utilisation dans un camping-car ou similaire).
Branchez l'adaptateur secteur sur une prise de courant. Introduisez
la fiche DC de l'adaptateur secteur ou d'un autre l'adaptateur dans la
douille d'entrée (8) sur la face avant du chargeur universel P200LCD. Si l'adaptateur secteur fonctionne, la LED Power rouge (3) s'allume. Si la LED ne s'allume pas, contrôlez l'alimentation en courant.
Au cas où vous utiliseriez un autre adaptateur pour l'alimentation en
courant du chargeur P200-LCD, celui-ci doit disposer d'une tension

Sollten Sie einen anderen Adapter zur Stromversorgung des P200LCD verwenden, muss dieser über eine Ausgangsspannung von
3 VDC (Gleichspannung) verfügen, sowie 2,5 A Strom liefern können. Zum Anschluss eines anderen Adapters an das P200-LCD
muss dieser über einen Ausgangsstecker 5,5/2,1 mm (Plus innen,
Minus aussen) verfügen.
Laden von Akkus
• Wählen Sie mit dem Wahlschalter (5) die Art der eingelegten
Akkus. Bei NiMH-Akkus stellen Sie den Wahlschalter auf Mittelstellung, bei NiCd-Akkus auf Linksanschlag, bei RAM-Zellen auf
Rechtsanschlag.
• Legen Sie die zu ladenden Akkus in die Ladeschächte (1) ein. Es
können 1 bis 4 Zellen gleichzeitig geladen werden. Bei Ladung
von Micro- und Mignon-Zellen kann zusätzlich noch ein 9-V-BlockAkku in dem dafür vorgesehenen Ladeschacht (6) geladen werden.
• Ein Umschalten des Wahlschalters (5) nach dem Einlegen der
Akkus ist nicht erlaubt. Das Ladegerät geht in diesem Fall auf
Störung (Anzeige „BAD“).
• Das Ladegerät schaltet nun automatisch in den Lademodus. Dies
wird durch rotes Leuchten der Ladezustands-LEDs (2) über dem
jeweiligen Ladeschacht, sowie durch die Balkenanzeige und die
Anzeige „CHA“ (Charge = Laden) im Display (4) angezeigt. NiCdAkkus werden vorher entladen - Anzeige „DIS“ (discharge = entladen) im Display, Ladezustand-LEDs (orange). Die Ladung des
9 V-Akkus wird durch Leuchten der Ladezustands-LED (7) angezeigt.
Laden Sie verschiedene Zellen gleichzeitig oder in der
falschen Stellung des Wahlschalters, führt dies zur
Zerstörung des Gerätes und der Akkus!
Beachten Sie unbedingt die Polarität der Akkus. Die
richtige Polarität ist im Ladeschacht aufgedruckt.

Consignes de sécurité
• Pour des raisons de sécurité et d'homologation, il est interdit
d'ouvrir ou de transformer l'appareil !
• Ne chargez avec cet appareil que des accus métal hydrure
(NiMH) ou au nickel et cadmium (NiCd) ou des accus alcalins
rechargeables. N'essayez jamais de recharger des piles normales.
• Ne rechargez jamais en même temps des types d'accus différents
(NiMH, NiCd ou accus alcalines). Le chargeur permet de charger
au maximum 4 accus en même temps. En cas de recharge des
types d'accus différents en même temps, les accus risquent
d'éclater ou de fuir. Il y a même risque de blessure. Prenez soin à
ne jamais court-circuiter les contacts de chargement ni les accus !
Il est normal que les accus s'échauffent pendant la recharge.
Soyez prudents quand vous touchez des accus qui viennent
d'être rechargés !
• N'exposez jamais le chargeur universel P200-LCD à l'humidité.
• Maintenez l'appareil et les accus hors de la portée des enfants !
• Ne couvrez jamais les fentes de ventilation. Placez l'appareil sur
une surface plane et difficilement inflammable.
En cas de dommages dûs à la non observation de ce
mode d’emploi, à un maniement incorrect ou à la non
observation des précautions d'emploi, la validité de la

Prescribed use
The device is intended for charging rechargeable NiCd or NiMH batteries of type Mono (C), Baby (D), Mignon (AA) and Micro (AAA) as
well as 9-V block batteries, which are suitable for charging current,
specified in the technical data. Furthermore, via this device so-called
RAM cells can also be charged. As a voltage source you may only
use a supplied in the delivery power adapter (voltage supply of the
adapter is 230 V AC 50/60 Hz) or another proper adapter with an output of 3 VDC/2.5 A. Do operate and store the device only in dry environment; the contact with moisture has to be avoided.
Scope of delivery
The scope of the delivery includes the following: P200-LCD universal
charger for batteries, power adapter and operating instructions.
Any use other than the one described above, damages the
product. Moreover, this involves dangers, such as e. g.
short circuit, burns, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt and the housing must not
be opened!
Always observe the safety instructions!

• After the cells have been fully charged, the battery charger will
automatically switch to trickle charge. This will be indicated by the
green flashing of the status LEDs (2) which are over each shaft,
as well as by the "OK" indication on the display (4). The batteries
must not be removed from the device after the charging procedure
has been completed. The trickle charge function prevents overcharging of the batteries! The end of charging of 9V block batteries
is indicated by extinguishing of the status LED (7).
Maintenance and service
Before cleaning or servicing, unplug the battery charger and the power adapter from all electrical sources. For cleaning the exterior of
the product, use a soft and dry cloth only. Never use cleansing agents
or liquids for cleaning the device. Repairs or maintenance of the device may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar
with the relevant regulations (VDE 100, VDE 0701).

Product description
The P200-LCD universal battery charger is intended for charging rechargeable NiCd or NiMH batteries of type Mono (C), Baby (D), Mignon (AA) and Micro (AAA) as well as 9-V block batteries, which are
suitable for charging current, specified in the technical data. In order
to avoid the memory effect, NiCd batteries will be automatically discharged just after they have been inserted into the charging device.
The processor-controlled charging of batteries takes place according
to the "Minus Delta U" procedure; this means, that each battery, independent from its charge state, will be fully charged (100 %) without
being overcharged, as soon as it has been inserted into the charging
device. Because each battery type reacts differently, the device, as a
matter of course, is equipped with single-cell monitoring – each battery will be individually charged up to its maximum capacity. The batteries must not be removed from the device after the charging
procedure has been completed. The trickle charge compensates for
self-discharging of batteries and prevents battery overcharging. Furthermore, via this device so-called RAM cells can also be charged.
These cells are charged via the constant voltage; the charging end
voltage of 1.73 V or the 1.69 V open circuit voltage of the RAM cell
initiates the end of the charging procedure.

Operation
Power supply
Select the desired power supply. As a power supply you can either
use the power adapter for 230VAC outlets, which is provided in the
delivery, or an optional 3 VDC/2.5 A adapter (e. g. a cigarette lighter
adapter intended for operation in camping cars or the like).
Connect the power adapter to a power socket. Connect the DC connector of the power adapter or another adapter to the DC input socket
(8) which is on the upper front face of the P200-LCD. If the power adapter is OK, the red Power LED (3) will flash red. If the LED does not
flash, please check the power supply.
If you use another adapter as a power supply for the P200-LCD,
make sure it has an output voltage of 3 VDC (direct-current voltage)
