2. SYMBOL-ERKLÄRUNG, AUFSCHRIFTEN

Ein Ausrufezeichen in einem Dreieck zeigt wichtige Anweisungen in dieser Anleitung, die unbedingt befolgt werden müssen.

Hinweise zur Bedienung gegeben werden sollen. Dieses Gerät ist CE-konform und erfüllt die erforderlichen

europäischen Richtlinien.

3. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG

Die elektronische Kofferwaage mit Bluetooth® dient zur Gewichtsmessung und zum Erfassen der Messdaten über Apple und Android Mobilgeräte. Außerdem verfügt das Produkt über eine Diebstahl-Warnfunktion, sobald die Kofferwaage

aus dem denierten Bereich entfernt wird. Über Apple Geräte (iOS) kann

Gepäck an der Gepäckausgabe geortet werden. Die Steuerung erfolgt über eine vom Apple- / Android-App-Store (Play-Store) heruntergeladene App. Die folgenden Geräte sind kompatibel:

Apple-Geräte mit Bluetooth iPhone 4s/5/5C/S, iPod touch 5. Generation, iPad 3/4/Air/mini.

Android-Geräte mit Bluetooth Android Smartphones und Tablets ab Version 4.3

Die Kofferwaage wird mit 2 Stück 1,5 V Batterien, Größe AAA, betrieben. Das Produkt ist EMV-geprüft und erfüllt die Anforderungen der geltenden

europäischen und nationalen Richtlinien. Die CE-Konformität wurde nachgewiesen, die entsprechenden Erklärungen sind beim Hersteller hinterlegt.

Eine Verwendung ist nur in geschlossenen Räumen, also nicht im Freien erlaubt. Der Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit, z.B. im Badezimmer u.ä. ist unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) dürfen Sie das Produkt nicht umbauen und/oder verändern. Falls Sie das Produkt für andere Zwecke verwenden, als zuvor beschrieben, kann das Produkt beschädigt werden. Außerdem kann eine unsachgemäße Verwendung Gefahren wie zum Beispiel Kurzschluss, Brand, Stromschlag, etc. hervorrufen. Lesen Sie sich die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch und bewahren Sie diese auf. Reichen Sie das Produkt nur zusammen mit der Bedienungsanleitung an dritte Personen weiter.

7. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Lesen Sie sich die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch und beachten Sie insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Falls Sie die Sicherheitshinweise und die Angaben zur sachgemäßen Handhabung in dieser Bedienungsanleitung nicht befolgen, übernehmen wir für dadurch resultierende Personen-/Sachschäden keine Haftung. Außerdem erlischt in solchen Fällen die Gewährleistung/Garantie.

a) Personen / Produkt

• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie es von Kindern und Haustieren fern.

• Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen. Dieses könnte für Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.

• Schützen Sie das Produkt vor extremen Temperaturen, direktem Sonnenlicht, starken Erschütterungen, hoher Feuchtigkeit, Nässe, brennbaren Gasen, Dämpfen und Lösungsmitteln.

• Setzen Sie das Produkt keiner mechanischen Beanspruchung aus, mit Ausnahme des Wiegens von Gepäck.

• Wenn kein sicherer Betrieb mehr möglich ist, nehmen Sie das Produkt außer Betrieb und schützen Sie es vor unbeabsichtigter Verwendung. Der sichere Betrieb ist nicht mehr gewährleistet, wenn das Produkt:

- sichtbare Schäden aufweist,

- nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß funktioniert,

- über einen längeren Zeitraum unter ungünstigen Umgebungsbedingungen gelagert wurde oder

- erheblichen Transportbelastungen ausgesetzt wurde.

• Nehmen Sie das Gerät niemals gleich dann in Betrieb, wenn es von einem kalten in einen warmen Raum gebracht wird. Das dabei entstandene Kondenswasser kann unter ungünstigen Umständen Ihr Gerät zerstören. Lassen Sie das Gerät uneingeschaltet auf Zimmertemperatur kommen.

• Überlasten Sie das Produkt nicht. Beachten Sie die Technischen Daten.

• Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um. Durch Stöße, Schläge oder dem Fall aus bereits geringer Höhe wird es beschädigt.

• Vorsicht beim Wiegen von Gepäck! Überlasten Sie Ihren

eigenen Körper nicht. Eine Überlastung kann zu Verletzungen

führen.

• Beachten Sie auch die Sicherheitshinweise und Bedienungsanleitungen der übrigen Geräte, an die das Produkt angeschlossen wird.

b) Batterien

• Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien auf die richtige Polung.

• Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden, um Beschädigungen durch Auslaufen zu vermeiden. Auslaufende oder beschädigte Batterien können bei Hautkontakt Säureverätzungen hervorrufen. Beim Umgang mit beschädigten Batterien sollten Sie daher Schutzhandschuhe tragen.

• Bewahren Sie Batterien außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. Lassen Sie Batterien nicht frei herumliegen, da diese von Kindern oder Haustieren verschluckt werden könnten.

• Alle Batterien sollten zum gleichen Zeitpunkt ersetzt werden. Das Mischen von alten und neuen Batterien im Gerät kann zum Auslaufen der Batterien und zur Beschädigung des Geräts führen.

• Nehmen Sie keine Batterien auseinander, schließen Sie sie nicht kurz und werfen Sie sie nicht ins Feuer. Versuchen Sie

niemals, nicht auadbare Batterien aufzuladen. Es besteht

Explosionsgefahr!

a) Sonstiges

• Wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft, wenn Sie Zweifel über die Arbeitsweise, die Sicherheit oder den Anschluss des Produktes haben.

• Lassen Sie Wartungs-, Anpassungs- und Reparaturarbeiten ausschließlich von einem Fachmann bzw. einer Fachwerkstatt durchführen.

Sollten Sie sich über den korrekten Anschluss bzw. Betrieb nicht im Klaren sein oder sollten sich Fragen ergeben, die nicht im Laufe der Bedienungsanleitung abgeklärt werden, so setzen Sie sich bitte mit unserer technischen Auskunft oder einem anderen Fachmann in Verbindung.

8. INBETRIEBNAHME

Vermeiden Sie Stöße und starke Vibrationen sowie den Betrieb unter direktem Sonnenlicht.

a) App installieren

Diese Kofferwaage wird über Bluetooth® mit Ihrem Mobilgerät mit Hilfe einer App gesteuert. Das Produkt unterstützt Mobilgeräte, wie iPhone 4s/5/5C/S, iPad 3/4/ Air/mini, iPod Touch 5. Generation und Android Smartphones/Tablet Computer ab Android Version 4.3 mit Bluetooth® 4.0 Unterstützung.

Laden Sie die App Voltcraft Apps)/Google Play Store herunter, um sie auf Ihrem Mobilgerät zu installieren. Die App ist kostenlos erhältlich.

Smart-Scale vom Apple® App Store (iPhone

Führen Sie die Installation der App aus, um die Diebstahl-Warnfunktion und Gepäckmelde-Funktion (nur Apple iOS) nutzen zu können.

Mit der App kann das Gewicht des Gepäckstücks gespeichert und ein Foto zugeordnet werden. Außerdem kann ein Alarm bei Entfernen der Kofferwaage und somit des Gepäckstücks ausgelöst werden. Wenn sich die Kofferwaage im

Gepäck bendet, wird eine Gepäckmeldung auf dem gekoppelten Mobilgerät

(nur Apple iOS) innerhalb des Erfassungsbereiches bei Ankunft am Gepäckband generiert. Die Kofferwaage schaltet sich automatisch nach ca. 1 Minute aus, wenn keine Taste betätigt oder eine Gewichtsmessung durchgeführt wird.

b) Batterie einlegen

• Mit dem Produkt werden 2 Stück 1,5 V Batterien der Größe AAA mitgeliefert.

• Öffnen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs (1) und setzen Sie die Batterien ein. Achten Sie auf korrekte Polarität (+/-), wie im Batteriefach angegeben.

• Verschließen Sie das Batteriefach.

• Die Lebensdauer von neuen Batterien beträgt bei eingeschaltetem Gerät ca. 1 Monat (Ohne Wiegen und Alarm-Auslösung). Die Lebensdauer der Batterien ist auch abhängig von der Qualität und dem Zustand der Batterien, sowie von den Umgebungstemperaturen. Wechseln Sie die Batterien, wenn im LC-Display der Kofferwaage die Meldung >Lo< für niedrigen Batteriestand erscheint.

c) Bluetooth®-Verbindung und Grundeinstellungen

Bevor das Gerät mit allen Funktionen genutzt werden kann, müssen Sie einige Einstellungen vornehmen und sich mit dieser Bedienungsanleitung vertraut machen.

• Aktivieren Sie die Bluetooth

• Schieben Sie den Schalter ON/OFF (4) auf ON, um die Kofferwaage einzuschalten.

• Starten Sie die App Voltcraft® Smart-Scale auf Ihrem Mobilgerät. Tippen Sie auf das Einstellungssymbol > <.Die App scannt nach Bluetooth®-Geräten und nach einigen Sekunden erscheint die Kofferwaage auf dem Display unter >Neue Geräte erfasst<. Tippen Sie auf das Gerätefeld mit dem Symbol um das Gerät zu registrieren.

• Das Display zeigt das Geräte-Prol an.

• Sie können der Kofferwaage auch ein Foto zuordnen. Tippen Sie auf den Fotorahmen neben dem Gerätenamen, um ein Foto hinzuzufügen oder um ein Foto auszutauschen. Sie können dann entweder ein Foto aufnehmen oder ein Bild aus Ihren Fotoordnern hinzufügen.

• Tippen Sie auf den vorläugen Namen „Smart Scale”, um der Kofferwaage eine andere Bezeichnung bzw. Namen zu geben.

• Tippen Sie auf >speichern<, um das Foto und den Namen zu sichern.

• Falls Sie eine erfasste Kofferwaage wieder entfernen möchten, streichen Sie innerhalb des Gerätefelds mit dem Finger einfach von einer Seite zur anderen. Auf dem Display erscheint >Löschen<. Tippen Sie auf >Löschen<, um die Kofferwaage zu entfernen.

• Tippen Sie auf das Home Symbol > navigieren.

d) Gepäckwaage

Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gewicht stabil, ruhig und ohne Gewichtsschwankungen, am Gurt hängt. Bei zu starken Gewichtsschwankungen kann das Gewicht nicht erfasst werden.

• Tippen Sie auf das Feld >Gepäckwaage<. Ihr Mobilgerät kann somit das Gewicht des gewogenen Gepäckstücks erfassen und speichern.

• Zum komfortablen Einhängen von Gepäckstücken ist die Kofferwaage mit einem Gepäckriemen mit Schnappverschluss (6) ausgestattet. Das maximale Belastungsgewicht der Kofferwaage, einschließlich Tara, beträgt 40 kg.

• Die Kofferwaage kann in folgenden Gewichtseinheiten eingestellt werden: g, kg, oz, lb.

• Schieben Sie den Schalter ON/OFF (4) auf ON, um die Kofferwaage einzuschalten. Beim Einschalten schaltet sich die Waage auf >lb<. Drücken Sie die Taste UNIT/TARE (5), um die gewünschte Gewichtseinheit einzustellen. Die Gewichtseinheiten wechseln bei jedem Drücken der Taste UNIT/TARE in folgender Reihenfolge: lb → g → kg → oz. Bei jedem Drücken ertönt ein akustisches Signal.

• Drücken Sie auf beide Seiten des Schnappverschlusses, um ihn zu öffnen.

• Hängen Sie das Gepäckstück an den Gepäckriemen und warten Sie, bis das Gewicht erfasst ist und >HOLD< im Display der Kofferwaage erscheint. Zusätzlich ertönt ein Piepton. Zum gleichen Zeitpunkt erscheint das Gewicht auf dem Display Ihres Mobilgerätes. Tippen Sie an Ihrem Mobilgerät auf das Feld >SPEICHERN< (engl. SAVE), um den Wert zu sichern.

• Stellen Sie das Taragewicht wie folgt ein: Belasten Sie die Waage mit der Tara und warten Sie, bis das Gewicht erfasst ist. Sobald das Gewicht erfasst ist, ertönt ein Piepton und im Display an der Kofferwaage erscheint >HOLD<. Drücken Sie die Taste UNIT/TARE. Im Display erscheint >TARE<.

• Geben Sie jetzt das Zuladegewicht zu. Im Display des Mobilgerätes erscheint das erfasste Gewicht. Tippen Sie auf das Feld >SPEICHERN<, um den Wert zu sichern. TARA-Werte werden mit einem Minus-Zeichen gespeichert.

• Sie können bis zu 20 Gewichtsmessungen speichern. Die Speicherung erfolgt mit dem jeweiligen Standort der Gewichtsmessung, sofern Sie der App Ihren Standort auf Ihrem Mobilgerät freigegeben haben.

Bei Überlastung der Kofferwaage erscheint auf dem LC-Display der

Kofferwaage die Meldung >Err< und zeigt damit an, dass ein Fehler vorliegt. Entlasten Sie die Kofferwaage umgehend, um eine Beschädigung durch zu hohes Gewicht zu vermeiden. Beachten Sie hierzu auch die technischen Daten.

e) Diebstahl-Warnfunktion

• Tippen Sie auf das Feld >Diebstahl-Warnung<.

• Der Bereich, ab dem der Alarm ausgelöst wird, kann am Display Ihres Mobilgerätes mit zwei Fingern von ca. 3 bis 9 Metern eingestellt werden.

• Tippen Sie auf den Halbring im oberen Bereich des Displays, um die Testfunktion für den Erfassungsbereich zu aktivieren. Das Gerät löst dabei keinen lauten Alarm, sondern nur ein leises Piepen am Gerät aus. Tippen Sie erneut auf den Halbring im oberen Bereich, um die Testfunktion zu deaktivieren.

• Aktivieren Sie die Diebstahl-Warnung, indem Sie auf den Halbring im unteren Bereich des Displays tippen. Bei Auslösen des Alarms kann dieser durch Tippen auf den Halbring im unteren Bereich des Displays manuell ausgeschaltet werden.

• Deaktivieren Sie die Diebstahl-Warnung vor dem Einchecken am Flughafen durch Tippen auf den Halbring im unteren Bereich des Displays. Alternativ tippen Sie auf das Home Symbol > automatisch deaktiviert. Auf dem Display erscheint die Meldung >DiebstahlWarnung deaktiviert<. Tippen Sie auf >OK<, um auf die Hauptseite zu navigieren.

f) Gepäckmeldung (Nur für Apple iOS. Bei Android wird diese

Funktion nicht unterstützt)

• Tippen Sie kurz vor dem Einchecken auf das Flugzeug-Symbol > < in der oberen rechten Seite des Displays. Die App wird auf Flugmodus gestellt

und somit deaktiviert. Tippen Sie nach Ankunft am Zielughafen erneut auf

das Flugzeug-Symbol > Gepäckmeldung an der Gepäckaufnahme erhalten.

• Bei Ankunft Ihres Gepäckstücks an der Gepäckaufnahme können Sie sich über Ihr Mobilgerät informieren lassen, ob sich das Gepäck bereits auf dem

Weg zu Ihnen bendet, sobald es in den Erfassungsbereich eintritt. Der

Erfassungsbereich beträgt ca. 15 Meter.

• Tippen Sie auf das Feld >Gepäckmeldung<.

• Sobald sich das Gepäck im Erfassungsbereich (ca. 15 Meter) bendet, erscheint auf dem Display die Meldung >Das Gepäck kommt<.

• Wenn sich das Gepäck direkt in der Nähe bendet, erscheint die Meldung >Gepäck aufnehmen. Tippen Sie auf das Koffersymbol, um den Alarm zu stoppen<. Ein akustisches Alarmsignal ertönt. Stoppen Sie den Alarm durch Tippen auf das Koffersymbol > Alarm nicht automatisch ausschalten, stoppt er automatisch nach einigen Sekunden.

9. WARTUNG UND REINIGUNG

• Schalten Sie das Gerät vor jeder Reinigung aus.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ein.

• Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht und verwenden Sie keine Flüssigkeiten, um das Gerät zu reinigen. Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden oder chemischen Reinigungsmittel.

• Das Gerät ist bis auf eine gelegentliche Reinigung wartungsfrei. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung ein trockenes, weiches, antistatisches und fusselfreies Tuch.

10. ENTSORGUNG

a) Produkt

Elektronische Geräte sind Wertstoffe und gehören nicht in den Hausmüll.

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.

Entnehmen Sie evtl. eingelegte Batterien/Akkus und entsorgen Sie diese getrennt vom Produkt.

b) Batterien / Akkus

Sie als Endverbraucher sind gesetzlich (Batterieverordnung) zur Rückgabe

aller gebrauchten Batterien/Akkus verpichtet; eine Entsorgung über den

Hausmüll ist untersagt.

Schadstoffhaltige Batterien/Akkus sind mit dem nebenstehenden Symbol gekennzeichnet, das auf das Verbot der Entsorgung über den Hausmüll hinweist. Die Bezeichnungen für das ausschlaggebende Schwermetall sind: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilber, Pb=Blei (die Bezeichnung steht auf den Batterien/ Akkus z.B. unter dem links abgebildeten Mülltonnen-Symbol).

Ihre verbrauchten Batterien/Akkus können Sie unentgeltlich bei den Sammelstellen Ihrer Gemeinde, unseren Filialen oder überall dort abgeben, wo Batterien/Akkus verkauft werden.

2. SYMBOL EXPLANATION, MARKINGS

An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important notes in these operating instructions that must be strictly observed.

3. INTENDED USE

The electronic Bluetooth® luggage scale can be used to weigh baggage and to register the measured data via Apple or Android mobile devices. The product

also features an anti-theft alert system that noties the user when the luggage scale is removed from a dened area.

Luggage can be located at the baggage claim via Apple devices (iOS). An app is available online in the Apple / Android App Store (Play Store) to control the product.

a) Persons / Product

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material for children.

• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight,

strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours

and solvents.

• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress apart from weighing baggage.

• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

- is visibly damaged,

- is no longer working properly,

- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or

- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.

• Do not operate the device immediately after transferring it from a cold to a warm room. This can cause condensation which may, under adverse circumstances, destroy the device. Leave the device turned off until it has reached room temperature.

• Do not overload the product. Observe all specications under technical data.

• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.

• Exercise caution when weighing baggage! Do not overstrain your own body. Overstraining your body can lead to injury.

• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.

b) Batteries

• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.

• Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, Therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.

• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.

• All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device can lead to battery leakage and device damage.

• Do not disassemble, short-circuit or throw batteries into re. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!

• Consult a professional if you require assistance with product operation, safety or connection.

• Maintenance work, adjustments and repairs may be carried out only by a professional or at a specialist workshop.

8. OPERATION

Avoid impact and strong vibrations as well as operation in direct sunlight.

a) App installation

You can control the luggage scale via Bluetooth® using an app on your mobile device. The product supports mobile devices such as iPhone 4s/5/5C/S, iPad 3/4/Air/mini, iPod Touch 5th generation and Android smartphones/tablet computers with Android version 4.3 or higher and Bluetooth® 4.0 connectivity.

Download the Voltcraft Apps)/Google Play Store to install it on your mobile device. The app is for free.

Smart-Scale app from the Apple® App Store (iPhone

Install the app to take advantage of the anti-theft and baggage alert (only Apple iOS) function.

The app allows the user to store the weight of a piece of baggage and assign a photo. An alarm can also be set off if the luggage scale, and the piece of baggage with it, is removed. If the luggage scale is inside a piece of baggage, a baggage alert is sent to the connected mobile device (only Apple iOS) within the detection range upon arrival of the baggage at the baggage conveyor belt. The luggage scale turns off after approx. 1 minute during which no button is pressed or no piece of baggage is weighed.

b) Inserting battery

• 2 pieces 1.5 V batteries, size AAA, are included with the product.

• Open the battery compartment cover (1) and insert the batteries. Observe correct polarity (+/-) as indicated in the battery compartment.

• Close the battery compartment.

• The lifetime of new batteries will be approx. 1 month if the product is switched on (no weighing operation and alarm sound). The lifetime of the batteries depend also on the battery quality and condition as well as the ambient

temperatures. Replace the batteries when the luggage scale LC display

shows the low battery indicator >Lo<.

c) Bluetooth® connection and basic settings

Before you can use all functions of the device you will have to perform some settings and familiarize yourself with the operating instructions.

• Activate the Bluetooth

• Slide the ON/OFF switch (4) to ON to turn on the luggage scale.

• Start the Voltcraft symbol > <. The app scans for Bluetooth® devices and the luggage scale appears on the display under >New Devices Found< after a few seconds. Tap

• If you wish to remove a registered luggage scale, simply swipe your nger

from one side to the other inside the device eld. The display shows

>Delete<. Tap >Delete< to remove the luggage scale.

• Tap the home symbol >

d) Luggage scale

Make sure that the weight is hanging from the strap stably, calmly and without any fluctuations. The scale cannot register the weight if the weight fluctuates too much.

• Tap the eld >Luggage scale<. Your mobile device can now register and save the weight of your piece of baggage.

• The luggage scale is equipped with a luggage strap with snap lock (6) for easy hanging of your pieces of baggage. The maximum permitted weight for the luggage scale including tare is 40 kg.

• The luggage scale can be set to use the following units of weight: g, kg, oz, lb.

• Slide the ON/OFF switch (4) to ON to turn on the luggage scale. The default unit of weight setting when you turn on the scale is >lb<. Press the

UNIT/TARE button (5) to set the desired unit of weight. Repeatedly press the UNIT/TARE button to toggle between units of weight in the following order:

lb → g → kg → oz. An acoustic signal sounds each time the button is pressed.

• Press both sides of the snap lock to open it.

• Hang your piece of baggage from the luggage strap and wait until the weight is registered and the scale’s display shows >HOLD<. An acoustic signal also sounds. At the same time, the weight appears on the display of

your mobile device. On your mobile device, tap the eld >SAVE< to save

the value.

• Proceed as follows to set the tare weight: Load the scale with the tare and wait until the weight is registered. An acoustic signal sounds and the scale’s display shows >HOLD< when the weight is registered. Press the

UNIT/TARE button. The display shows >TARE<.

• Now add the additional weight. The display of your mobile device shows the

registered weight. Tap the eld >SAVE< to save the value. TARE values are

saved with a minus symbol.

• You can save up to 20 weight measurements. Each weight measurement is stored with the respective location where the measurement was taken if you have permitted the app to access your location on your mobile device.

In case of overload, the scale’s LC display shows >Err< to indicate that there is an error. Remove all weight from the luggage scale to prevent damage due to overload. Observe the technical data.

e) Anti-theft alert

• Tap the eld >Anti-theft alert<.

• The range, which triggers the alarm, can be set from approx. 3 to 9 meters

on the display of your mobile device, using two ngers.

• Tap the half ring in the upper area of the display to activate the test function. The device will not sound a loud alarm but only a low noise peep at the device itself. Tap again the half ring in the upper area of the display to deactivate the test function.

• Activate the anti-theft alert by tapping the half ring on the bottom of the display. You can manually turn off the alarm by tapping the half ring at the bottom of the display in case the alarm has been triggered.

• Deactivate the anti-theft alert before check-in at the airport by tapping the half ring on the bottom of the display. You can also tap the home symbol

the top right of the display. The app switches to ight mode and will be

deactivated. After arrival at your destination airport, tap the airplane symbol >

< again to activate the app so you can receive baggage alerts in

baggage claim.

• Upon arrival of your baggage in baggage claim, you can have your mobile device alert you if the baggage is on its way as soon as it enters the detection range. The detection range is approx. 15 meters.

• Tap the eld >Baggage notication<.

• As long as your baggage has not been detected within range, the display

shows the notication >Waiting...<.

• As soon as your baggage enters the detection range (approx. 15 meters), the display shows >Baggage arriving<.

• When your baggage is in your immediate vicinity, the display shows >Pick up baggage. Tap the suitcase symbol to stop the alarm<. An acoustic alarm signal sounds. Tap the suitcase symbol > stop the alarm. If you do not turn off the alarm automatically, it will turn off automatically after a few seconds.

9. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Always turn off the device before cleaning.

• Never submerge the device in water or other liquids.

• Do not open the device and do not use any liquid agents for cleaning. Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.

• Apart from occasional cleaning, the device is maintenance-free. Use a dry, soft, anti-static and lint-free cloth for cleaning.

10. DISPOSAL

a) Product

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them

separately from the product.

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.

Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).

Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.

3. UTILISATION PRÉVUE

Le pèse-bagage électronique avec Bluetooth® sert au pesage et à répertorier des données de mesure via des appareils mobiles Apple et Android. Le produit a également une fonction d‘alarme antivol dès que le pèse-bagage est enlevé

de la zone dénie. Via les appareils Apple (iOS), le bagage peuvent être

localisé à la récupération des bagages. La commande s’effectue grâce au téléchargement d’une appli via un App-Store d’Apple/Android (Play-Store). Les appareils suivants sont compatibles :

a) Personnes / Produit

• Ce produit n’est pas un jouet. Gardez-le hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.

• Ne laissez pas traîner le matériel d’emballage. Cela pourrait devenir un jouet pour enfants très dangereux.

b) Piles

• Respecter la polarité lors de l’insertion des piles.

• Retirer les piles de l’appareil s’il n’est pas utilisé pendant

longtemps an d’éviter les dégâts causés par des fuites.

Des piles qui fuient ou qui sont endommagées peuvent provoquer des brûlures acides lors du contact avec la peau ; l’utilisation de gants protecteurs appropriés est par conséquent recommandée pour manipuler les piles corrompues.

• Garder les piles hors de portée des enfants. Ne pas laisser traîner de piles car des enfants ou des animaux pourraient les avaler.

• Toutes les piles doivent être remplacées en même temps. Le mélange de piles anciennes et de nouvelles piles dans l’appareil peut entraîner la fuite de piles et endommager l’appareil.

• Les piles ne doivent pas être démontées, court-circuitées ou jetées au feu. Ne jamais recharger des piles non rechargeables. Il existe un risque d’explosion !

c) Divers

• Adressez-vous à un technicien spécialisé si vous avez des doutes concernant le mode de fonctionnement, la sécurité ou le raccordement de l‘appareil.

• Tout entretien, ajustement ou réparation ne doit être effectué que par un spécialiste ou un atelier spécialisé.

8. MISE EN SERVICE

Évitez les chocs et les fortes vibrations ainsi que le fonctionnement en plein soleil.

a) Installation de l‘application

Ce pèse-bagage est commandé via Bluetooth® sur votre appareil portable grâce à une application. Le produit supporte les appareils portables tels que l‘iPhone 4s/5/5C/S, iPad 3/4/Air/mini, iPod Touch 5e génération et Smartphones Android/ tablette et ardoise à partir de la version Android 4.3 avec support Bluetooth® 4.0.

Téléchargez l‘application Voltcraft Apps)/Google Play Store pour l’installer sur votre appareil portable. L‘application est disponible gratuitement.

Smart-Scale de l’Apple® App Store (iPhone

Terminez l‘installation de l‘application pour pouvoir utiliser la fonction d’alarme antivol et la fonction d’annonce du bagage (seulement sur Apple iOS).

Avec l‘application, le poids du bagage peut être sauvegardé et une photo peut y être affectée. De plus, une alarme lors de l‘enlèvement du pèse-bagage ainsi que du bagage peut être déclenchée. Si le pèse-bagage se trouve dans le bagage,

une annonce le concernant est générée sur l‘appareil portable couplé (seulement avec Apple iOS) dans la zone de détection à l‘arrivée sur le tapis roulant des bagages. Le pèse-bagage s‘éteint automatiquement après 1 minute si aucune touche n‘est actionnée ou si aucune pesée n‘est effectuée.

b) Insertion de la pile

• Deux piles de 1,5 V de type AAA sont fournies avec le produit.

• Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment des piles (1) et insérez les piles. Assurez-vous de la bonne polarité (+/-) comme indiqué dans le compartiment des piles.

• Refermez le compartiment de la pile.

• Lorsque l‘appareil est allumé, la durée de vie des nouvelles piles est d‘environ 1 mois (sans pesée et sans déclenchement d‘alarme). La durée de vie des piles est aussi dépendante de la qualité et de l‘état des piles, ainsi que de la température ambiante. Remplacez les piles lorsque le message >Lo< indiquant un niveau de charge des piles faible apparaît sur l‘écran à CL du pèse-bagage.

c) Connexion Bluetooth® et paramétrages de base

Avant que l‘appareil puisse être utilisé avec toutes ses fonctionnalités, vous

devez tout d’abord effectuer quelques paramétrages et vous familiariser avec ce mode d‘emploi.

• Activez la fonction Bluetooth

• Faites glisser l’interrupteur ON/OFF (4) sur ON pour allumer le pèse-bagage.

• L’écran afche le prol de l’appareil.

• Vous pouvez également affecter une photo au pèse-bagage. Vous pouvez

soit prendre une photo soit ajouter une photo à partir de vos chiers d’images.

• Tapez sur le nom provisoire « Smart Scale » pour attribuer un autre nom ou une autre désignation au pèse-bagage.

• Appuyez sur >Enregistrer< pour sauvegarder la photo et le nom.

• Si vous souhaitez supprimer un pèse-bagage enregistré, faites le glisser avec votre doigt dans le champ du produit d’un côté et de l’autre. Sur l’écran apparaît la mention >Supprimer<. Appuyez sur >Supprimer< pour enlever le pèse-bagage.

• Appuyez sur l’icône d’accueil >

pour enregistrer l’appareil.

d) Pèse-bagage

Assurez-vous que le poids soit stable et immobile, sans grand mouvement exercé sur la sangle. En cas de mouvements du poids, la

pesée ne peut pas être effectuée.

• Appuyez sur le champ >Pèse-bagage<. Votre appareil portable peut ainsi capturer le poids du bagage à peser et le sauvegarder.

• Pour faciliter l’accrochage d’un bagage, le pèse-bagage est équipé d’une sangle à bagage avec fermeture encliquetée (6). Le poids de charge maximum du pèse-bagage, y compris la tare, est de 40 kg.

• Le pèse-bagage peut être réglé dans les unités suivantes : g, kg, oz, lb.

• Faites glisser l’interrupteur ON/OFF (4) sur ON pour allumer le pèse-bagage. Lorsque la balance est activée, celle-ci s’allume sur >lb<. Appuyez sur la touche UNIT/TARE (5) pour régler l’unité de poids souhaitée. À chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la touche UNIT/TARE, les unités de poids se changent dans l’ordre suivant : lb → g → kg → oz. À chaque pression, un signal sonore retentit.

• Appuyez sur les deux côtés de la fermeture encliquetée pour l’ouvrir.

• Accrochez le bagage à la sangle et attendez jusqu’à ce que la pesée soit

effectuée ; >HOLD< apparaît sur l’afchage du pèse-bagage. De plus, un signal sonore retentit. En même temps, le poids s’afche sur l’écran

de votre appareil portable. Tapez sur le champ de votre appareil portable >ENREGISTRER< (an anglais SAVE) pour sauvegarder la valeur.

• Réglez le poids de la tare comme suit : chargez la balance avec la tare et attendez jusqu’à ce que la pesée soit effectuée. Dès que le poids est

indiqué, un signal sonore retentit et l’afchage du pèse-bagage indique

>HOLD<. Appuyez sur la touche UNIT/TARE. Sur l’écran apparaît >TARE<.

• Entrez maintenant le poids de la charge. La pesée effectuée s’afche à l’écran de l’appareil portable. Tapez sur le champ >ENREGISTRER< pour sauvegarder la valeur. Les valeurs de TARE sont sauvegardées avec un signe moins.

• Vous pouvez enregistrer jusqu’à 20 pesées. L’enregistrement s’effectue à chaque emplacement de la pesée, si vous avez activé l’application de votre emplacement sur votre appareil portable.

En cas de surcharge du pèse-bagage, le message >Err< apparaît sur l’écran à CL indiquant qu’une erreur s’est produite. Déchargez immédiatement la balance du pèse-bagage pour prévenir des dommages dus au poids excessif. Veuillez respecter ici les données techniques !

e) Fonction d’alarme antivol

• Appuyez sur le champ >Alarme antivol<.

• La zone à partir de laquelle l’alarme est déclenchée, peut être réglée d’environ 3 à 9 mètres sur l’écran de votre appareil portable avec deux doigts.

• Appuyez sur le demi-anneau dans le haut de l’écran pour activer la fonction de test pour la zone de balayage. L’appareil ne déclenche pas une forte alarme, mais seulement un bip faible sur l’appareil. Appuyez de nouveau

sur le demi-anneau en haut an de désactiver la fonction de test.

• Activez l’alarme antivol en appuyant sur le demi-anneau dans le bas de

l’écran. Lors du déclenchement de l’alarme, celui-ci peut être désactivé

manuellement en appuyant sur le demi-anneau dans le bas de l’écran.

• Désactivez l’alarme antivol avant l’enregistrement à l’aéroport en appuyant sur le demi-anneau dans le bas de l’écran. Sinon, appuyez sur l’icône d’accueil > message d’avertissement >Alarme antivol désactivée< apparaît sur l’écran. Appuyez sur >OK<, pour accéder à la page principale.

f) Annonce du bagage (Seulement pour Apple iOS. Sur Android,

cette fonction n’est pas supportée.)

• Avant l’enregistrement, appuyez brièvement sur l’icone de l’avion > < dans le coin supérieur droit de l’écran. L’application est donc en mode avion et donc désactivée. À l’arrivée à l’aéroport de destination, appuyez de nouveau sur l’icône de l’avion > que vous obtenez une annonce de bagage à la récupération des bagages.

• À l’arrivée de votre bagage à la récupération des bagages, vous pouvez vous informer via votre appareil portable, si le bagage est déjà en route dès qu’il entre dans la zone de détection. La zone de détection est d’environ 15 mètres.

• Appuyez sur le champ >Annonce du bagage<.

• Tant que le bagage n’est pas détecté, un message apparaît sur l’écran >Attendez...<.

• Une fois que le bagage se trouve dans la zone de détection (environ 15 mètres), le message >Le bagage arrive< apparaît sur l’écran.

• Si le bagage se trouve juste à côté, le message suivant apparaît :>Prenez

le bagage. Appuyez sur l’icône du bagage pour arrêter l’alarme<. Un signal d’alarme sonore retentit. Arrêtez l’alarme en appuyant sur l’icône du bagage

< à côté du message. Si vous n’arrêtez pas l’alarme, elle s’arrêtera

> automatiquement après quelques secondes.

9. ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

• Éteignez le produit avant de le nettoyer.

• Ne plongez pas le produit dans de l‘eau ou tout autre liquide.

• N’ouvrez pas l‘appareil et n’utilisez aucun liquide pour nettoyer l‘appareil. N’utilisez aucun produit de nettoyage abrasif ou chimique.

• L‘appareil ne nécessite aucune maintenance seulement un nettoyage de temps en temps. Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon sec, doux, antistatique et non pelucheux.

10. ELIMINATION DES DÉCHETS

a) Produit

Les appareils électroniques sont des matériaux recyclables et ne

doivent pas être éliminés avec les ordures ménagères. En n de vie, éliminez l’appareil conformément aux dispositions

légales en vigueur. Retirez les piles/accumulateurs insérées et éliminez-les

séparément du produit.

b) Piles / Accumulateurs

Le consommateur nal est légalement tenu (ordonnance relative à l‘élimination

des piles usagées) de rapporter toutes les piles et batteries usagées, il est interdit de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères.

Les piles/accumulateurs qui contiennent des substances toxiques sont caractérisées par les symboles ci-contre qui indiquent l’interdiction de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères. Les désignations pour le métal lourd prépondérant sont : Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercure, Pb = plomb (la désignation se trouve sur les piles/accumulateurs, par ex. sous le symbole de la poubelle illustré à gauche).

Vous pouvez rapporter gratuitement vos piles/accumulateurs usagées aux centres de récupération de votre commune, à nos succursales ou à tous les points de vente de piles/accumulateurs.

2. VERKLARING VAN DE SYMBOLEN, OPSCHRIFTEN

Een uitroepteken in een driehoek wijst op belangrijke instructies in deze gebruiksaanwijzing die absoluut opgevolgd dienen te worden.

Een bliksemschicht in een driehoek waarschuwt voor een elektrische schok of een veiligheidsbeperking van elektrische onderdelen in het apparaat.

Een “pijl”-symbool geeft aan dat er bijzondere tips en aanwijzingen over de bediening van het apparaat gegeven worden.

Dit apparaat voldoet aan de CE-normen en de vereiste Europese richtlijnen.

3. BEDOELD GEBRUIK

De elektronische Bluetooth® bagageweegschaal kan worden gebruikt voor het wegen van bagage en het registreren van de gemeten waarden via Apple of Android mobiele apparaten. Het product is tevens voorzien van een anti-diefstalalarmsysteem dat de gebruiker waarschuwt wanneer de bagageweegschaal van een bepaald gebied wordt verwijderd. Bagage kan via Apple apparaten (iOS) op de bagageband gelokaliseerd worden. Een app is online beschikbaar in de Apple / Android App Store (Play Store) om het product te bedienen. De volgende apparaten zijn compatibel:

De bagageweegschaal werkt op 2 stuks 1,5 V AAA batterijen. Dit product voldoet aan de Europese en nationale eisen betreffende

elektromagnetische compatibiliteit (EMC). De CE-conformiteit werd gecontroleerd en de betreffende verklaringen en documenten werden neergelegd bij de fabrikant.

Het product mag uitsluitend in gesloten ruimten worden gebruikt, dus niet in de open lucht. Contact met vocht, bijv. in de badkamer, moet absoluut worden voorkomen.

In verband met veiligheid en normering (CE) zijn geen aanpassingen en/ of wijzigingen aan dit product toegestaan. Indien het product voor andere doeleinden wordt gebruikt dan hiervoor beschreven, kan het product worden beschadigd. Bovendien kan bij verkeerd gebruik een gevaarlijke situatie ontstaan met als gevolg bijvoorbeeld kortsluiting, brand, elektrische schok enzovoort. Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing volledig door en gooi deze niet weg. Het product mag alleen samen met de gebruiksaanwijzing aan derden ter beschikking worden gesteld.

7. VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door en let vooral op de veiligheidsinstructies. Indien de veiligheidsinstructies en de aanwijzingen voor een juiste bediening in deze gebruiksaanwijzing niet worden opgevolgd, kunnen wij niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor de daardoor ontstane schade aan apparatuur of persoonlijk letsel. Bovendien vervalt in dergelijke gevallen de garantie.

a) Personen / Product

• Het apparaat is geen speelgoed. Houd het buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren.

• Laat verpakkingsmateriaal niet zomaar rondslingeren. Dit kan gevaarlijk materiaal worden voor spelende kinderen.

• Bescherm het product tegen extreme temperaturen, direct zonlicht, sterke schokken, hoge luchtvochtigheid, vocht, ontvlambare gassen, dampen en oplosmiddelen.

• Zorg dat het apparaat niet onder mechanisme spanning komt te staan, tenzij voor het wegen van bagage.

• Als het niet langer mogelijk is het apparaat veilig te bedienen, stel het dan buiten bedrijf en zorg ervoor dat niemand het per ongeluk kan gebruiken. Veilige bediening kan niet langer worden gegarandeerd wanneer het product:

- zichtbaar is beschadigd,

- niet langer op juiste wijze werkt,

- tijdens lange periode is opgeslagen onder slechte omstandigheden, of

- onderhevig is geweest aan ernstige vervoergerelateerde druk.

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit direct als het uit een koude naar een warme ruimte overgebracht is. Daardoor ontstaat condensatievocht dat onder ongunstige omstandigheden schade aan uw apparaat kan toebrengen. Laat het apparaat zonder dat het aan wordt gezet op de temperatuur komen van de ruimte, waarin het geplaatst is.

• Zorg ervoor dat het product niet overbelast wordt. Neem de technische gegevens in acht.

• Behandel het apparaat met zorg. Schokken, botsingen of zelfs een val van een beperkte hoogte kan het product beschadigen.

• Wees zeer voorzichtig wanneer u bagage weegt! Zorg dat uw lichaam niet wordt overbelast. Uw lichaam overbelasten kan letsel veroorzaken.

• Neem alstublieft ook de veiligheids- en gebruiksaanwijzingen van alle andere apparaten in acht die met het product zijn verbonden.

b) Batterijen

• Let op de juiste polariteit bij het plaatsen van de batterijen.

• De batterijen dienen uit het apparaat te worden verwijderd wanneer het gedurende langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt om beschadiging door lekkage te voorkomen. Lekkende of beschadigde batterijen kunnen brandend zuur bij contact met de huid opleveren. Gebruik daarom veiligheidshandschoenen om beschadigde batterijen aan te pakken.

• Batterijen moeten uit de buurt van kinderen worden gehouden. Laat batterijen niet rondslingeren omdat het gevaar bestaat dat kinderen en/of huisdieren ze inslikken.

• Alle batterijen dienen op hetzelfde moment te worden vervangen. Het door elkaar gebruiken van oude en nieuwe batterijen in het apparaat kan leiden tot batterijlekkage en beschadiging van het apparaat.

• Batterijen mogen niet worden ontmanteld, kortgesloten of verbrand. Probeer nooit gewone batterijen te herladen. Er bestaat dan explosiegevaar!

c) Diversen

• Raadpleeg een expert wanneer u twijfelt over het juiste gebruik, de veiligheid of het aansluiten van het apparaat.

• Onderhoud, aanpassingen en reparaties mogen alleen uitgevoerd worden door een expert of in een daartoe bevoegde winkel.

Indien u vragen heeft over de correcte aansluiting of het gebruik of als er problemen zijn waar u in de gebruiksaanwijzing geen oplossing voor kunt vinden, neemt u dan contact op met onze technische helpdesk of met een andere elektromonteur.

8. INGEBRUIKNAME

Vermijd stoten en sterke trillingen gebruik het apparaat niet in direct zonlicht.

a) De app installeren

U kunt de bagageweegschaal via Bluetooth® bedienen met behulp van een app op uw mobiel apparaat. Het product ondersteunt mobiele apparaten zoals iPhone 4s/5/5C/S, iPad 3/4/Air/mini, iPod Touch 5e generatie en Android smartphones/ tabletcomputers met Android versie 4.3 of hoger en Bluetooth® 4.0 connectiviteit.

Download de Voltcraft Apps)/Google Play Store om het op uw mobiel apparaat te installeren. De app is gratis.

Smart-Scale app vanaf Apple® App Store (iPhone

Installeer de app om voordeel te halen uit de anti-diefstal- en bagagewaarschuwing (alleen Apple iOS) functie.

De app stelt de gebruiker in staat om het gewicht van een bagagestuk op te slaan en een foto toe te wijzen. Een alarm kan tevens worden ingeschakeld wanneer de babageweegschaal, samen met het bagagestuk, wordt verwijderd. Als de bagageweegschaal zich binnenin een bagagestuk bevindt, wordt er, eenmaal binnen het detectiebereik, een bagagewaarschuwing naar het verbonden mobiel apparaat (alleen Apple iOS) gestuurd zodra het bagagestuk zich op de bagageband bevindt. De bagageweegschaal wordt na circa 1 minuut automatisch uitgeschakeld als er geen enkele knop wordt ingedrukt of er geen bagagestuk wordt gewogen.

b) De batterij installeren

• Er zijn 2 stuks 1,5 V AAA batterijen met het product meegeleverd.

• Open het batterijdeksel (1) en plaats de batterijen. Plaats de batterijen volgens de juiste polariteit (+/-) zoals aangegeven in het batterijvak.

• Sluit het batterijvak.

• De levensduur van nieuwe batterijen is circa 1 maand vanaf inschakeling van het product (zonder weegactiviteiten of alarmactivering). De levensduur van de batterij is afhankelijk van zowel de kwaliteit en staat van de batterijen als de omgevingstemperatuur. Vervang de batterijen zodra het LC-beeldscherm van de bagageweegschaal de lege batterij-indicator >Lo< weergeeft.

c) Bluetooth®-verbinding en basisinstellingen

Voordat u alle functies van het apparaat kunt gebruiken, moet u eerst enkele instellingen uitvoeren en u vertrouwd maken met de gebruiksinstructies.

• Activeer de Bluetooth

• Schuif de ON/OFF schakelaar (4) naar ON om de bagageweegschaal in te schakelen.

• Start de Voltcraft® Smart-Scale app op uw mobiel apparaat. Tik op het instellingensymbool > <. De app zoekt naar Bluetooth® apparaten en de bagageweegschaal verschijnt na enkele seconden op het beeldscherm onder >Nieuwe apparaten gevonden<. Tik op het apparaatveld met het symbool om het apparaat te registreren.

• Het beeldscherm toont het apparaatproel.

• U kunt tevens een foto aan de bagageweegschaal toewijzen. Tik op het fotoframe naast de apparaatnaam om een foto toe te voegen of te wijzigen. U kunt vervolgens een foto nemen of een foto vanaf uw fotomappen uploaden.

• Tik op de standaard naam “Smart Scale” om de bagageweegschaal een andere beschrijving of naam te geven.

• Tik op >Opslaan< om de foto en naam op te slaan.

• Als u een geregistreerde bagageweegschaal wilt verwijderen, veeg met uw vinger zijdelings over het apparaatveld. Het beeldscherm geeft >Verwijderen< weer. Tik op >Verwijderen< om de bagageweegschaal te verwijderen.

• Tik op het startsymbool >

< om naar de startpagina te gaan.

d) Bagageweegschaal

Zorg dat het gewicht stabiel, kalm en zonder fluctuaties aan de riem hangt. De weegschaal kan het gewicht niet registreren als het te veel fluctueert.

• Tik op het veld >Bagageweegschaal<. Uw mobiel apparaat kan nu het gewicht van uw bagagestuk registreren en opslaan.

• De bagageweegschaal is uitgerust met een bagageriem met kliksluiting (6) voor eenvoudige ophanging van uw bagagestukken. Het maximum toegestaan gewicht voor de bagageweegschaal, inclusief tarra, is 40 kg.

• De bagageweegschaal kan op de volgende gewichtseenheden worden ingesteld: g, kg, oz, lb.

• Schuif de ON/OFF schakelaar (4) naar ON om de bagageweegschaal in te schakelen. De standaard gewichtseenheid bij inschakeling van de weegschaal is >lb<. Druk op de UNIT/TARE knop (5) om de gewenste gewichtseenheid in te stellen. Druk herhaaldelijk op de UNIT/TARE knop om de gewichtseenheden in de volgende volgorde te doorlopen: lb → g → kg → oz. U hoort een akoestisch signaal telkens de knop wordt ingedrukt.

• Druk op beide zijden van de kliksluiting om te openen.

• Hang uw bagagestuk aan de bagageriem en wacht totdat het gewicht wordt geregistreerd en het beeldscherm >HOLD< weergeeft. U hoort tevens een akoestisch signaal. Het gewicht verschijnt tegelijkertijd op het beeldscherm van uw mobiel apparaat. Tik op uw mobiel apparaat op het veld >OPSLAAN< (Engels SAVE) om de waarde op te slaan.

• Voer volgende procedure uit om het tarragewicht in te stellen: Laad de weegschaal met de tarra en wacht totdat het gewicht is geregistreerd. U hoort een akoestisch signaal en het beeldscherm van de weegschaal geeft >HOLD< weer eenmaal het gewicht is geregistreerd. Druk op de UNIT/TARE knop. Het beeldscherm geeft >TARRA< weer.

• Voeg nu het bijkomend gewicht toe. Het beeldscherm van uw mobiel apparaat toont het geregistreerd gewicht. Tik op het veld >OPSLAAN< om de waarde op te slaan. TARRA waarden worden met een min-symbool opgeslagen.

• U kunt tot 20 wegingen opslaan. Elke weging wordt opgeslagen met de respectievelijke locatie waar de meting werd uitgevoerd, dit indien u de app toelating hebt gegeven om toegang tot uw locatie op uw mobiel apparaat te krijgen.

In geval van overbelasting geeft het LC-beeldscherm van de weegschaal >Err< weer om aan te geven dat er een fout is opgetreden. Verwijder alle gewicht van de bagageweegschaal om schade door overbelasting te vermijden. Raadpleeg de technische gegevens.

e) Anti-diefstalalarm

• Tik op het veld >Anti-diefstalalarm<.

• Het bereik, dat het alarm activeert, kan vanaf circa 3 tot 9 meter op het beeldscherm van uw mobiel apparaat met behulp van twee vingers worden ingesteld.

• Tik op de halve ring in het bovenste deel van het beeldscherm om de testfunctie te activeren. Het apparaat activeert geen luid alarm maar enkel een lage pieptoon op het apparaat zelf. Tik nogmaals op de halve ring in het bovenste deel van het beeldscherm om de testfunctie uit te schakelen.

• Activeer het anti-diefstalalarm door op de halve ring op het onderste deel van het beeldscherm te tikken. U kunt het alarm handmatig uitzetten door op de halve ring op het onderste deel van het beeldscherm te tikken in geval het alarm afgaat.

• Schakel het anti-diefstalalarm uit alvorens op de luchthaven in te checken door op de halve ring op het onderste deel van het beeldscherm te tikken. U kunt tevens op het startsymbool > automatisch uitgeschakeld. Het beeldscherm geeft >Anti-diefstalalarm uitgeschakeld< weer. Tik op >OK< om naar de startpagina te gaan.

f) Bagagewaarschuwing (Alleen voor Apple iOS. Deze functie

wordt niet ondersteund door Android)

• Net voordat u op de luchthaven incheckt, tik op het vliegtuigsymbool >

< in de rechterbovenhoek van het beeldscherm. De app schakelt naar vliegtuigmodus en wordt gedeactiveerd. Na aankomst op de luchthaven van bestemming, tik nogmaals op het vliegtuigsymbool > activeren zodat u bagagewaarschuwingen kunt ontvangen.

• Eenmaal uw bagage op de bagageband terechtkomt, kan uw mobiel apparaat u waarschuwen dat uw bagage eraan komt zodra deze zich binnen het detectiebereik bevindt. Het detectiebereik is circa 15 meter.

• Tik op het veld >Bagagewaarschuwing<.

• Zolang uw bagage zich niet binnen het detectiebereik bevindt, geeft het beeldscherm de waarschuwing >Wachten...< weer.

• Zodra uw bagage zich binnen het detectiebereik (circa 15 meter) bevindt, geeft het beeldscherm >Bagage arriveert< weer.

• Als uw bagage zich in de onmiddellijke nabijheid bevindt, geeft het beeldscherm >Bagage nemen. Tik op het koffersymbool om het alarm te stoppen< weer. U hoort een akoestisch signaal. Tik op het koffersymbool

< naast het bericht om het alarm te stoppen. Als u het alarm niet

> handmatig uitzet, wordt het automatisch na elke seconden uitgezet.

9. ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING

• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit voordat u het reinigt.

• Dompel het apparaat niet in water of andere vloeistoffen onder.

• Maak het apparaat niet open en gebruik geen vloeistoffen om het apparaat schoon te maken. Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen of chemische schoonmaakmiddelen.

• Het apparaat is op een incidentele schoonmaakbeurt na verder onderhoudsvrij. Gebruik voor het reiniging een zacht, antistatisch en pluisvrij doekje.

10. VERWIJDERING

a) Product

Elektronische apparaten zijn recyclebare stoffen en horen niet bij het huisvuil.

Als het product niet meer werkt, moet u het volgens de geldende wettelijke bepalingen voor afvalverwerking inleveren.

Verwijder de geplaatste batterijen/accu’s en gooi deze afzonderlijk van het product weg.

b) Batterijen / Accu’s

U bent als eindverbruiker volgens de KCA-voorschriften wettelijk verplicht alle lege batterijen en accu’s in te leveren; verwijdering via het huisvuil is niet toegestaan.

Batterijen/accu´s die schadelijke stoffen bevatten, zijn gemarkeerd met nevenstaand symbool. Deze mogen niet via het huisvuil worden afgevoerd. De aanduidingen voor irriterend werkende, zware metalen zijn: Cd = cadmium, Hg = kwik, Pb = lood (de aanduiding staat op de batterijen/accu’s, bijv. onder de links afgebeelde vuilnisbaksymbool).

U kunt verbruikte batterijen/accu’s gratis bij de verzamelpunten van

uw gemeente, onze lialen of overal waar batterijen/accu’s worden

verkocht, afgeven.

Zo vervult u uw wettelijke verplichtingen en draagt u bij tot de bescherming van het milieu.
