SAFETY MEASURES

Before using the thermopot, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

Use the unit for intended purposes only, as specified in this instruction manual. Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.

• Make sure that the operating voltage of the

unit corresponds to the voltage of your mains.

• The power cord is equipped with a «euro-

plug»; plug it into the socket with a reliable grounding contact.

• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not use

adapters for connecting the unit to the mains.

• Do not use the unit in bathrooms. Do not use

it near swimming pools or other containers filled with water.

• Do not use the thermopot near heat sources

or open flame.

• Place the thermopot on a flat stable surface;

do not place the unit on the edge of the table.

• Do not place the unit near walls or furniture,

the distance between the unit and any other surface should be at least 30 cm.

• Do not use the unit outdoors.

• Do not connect or disconnect the power cord

with wet hands, this may cause electric shock or injuries.

• Make sure that the power cord does not hang

from the edge of the table or touch hot surfaces.

• When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but

not the cord.

• Do not switch the unit on without water.

• Use the thermopot only for water boiling; it

is prohibited to heat or boil other liquids in it.

• Ensure that the water level is not below the

minimal mark and not above the maximal mark.

• Do not refill the thermopot during boiling or

right after it.

• Do not fill the thermopot with water directly

from the faucet; to fill the thermopot use a suitable bowl.

• Do not drop, overturn or tilt the unit.

• Do not leave the operating unit unattended.

• Do not open the lid and do not dispense water

during boiling.

• Do not rotate the unit from side to side when

turning water dispensing on.

• Close the lid properly, but without excessive

effort.

• Keep your hands away from steam release

openings and do not bend over them, it may cause scalding. Do not block the steam release openings with any foreign objects.

• Do not lift the unit by the carrying handle dur-

ing boiling, as it may cause burns by outgoing steam. Do not open the lid of the unit during and right after water boiling.

• Do not touch hot surfaces of the thermopot.

• Be careful while carrying the unit filled with

boiling water, do not press the lid opening button.

• Do not carry the thermopot holding it by the lid

opening button.

• Before pouring out remaining water, let the

unit cool down, then remove the thermopot lid and pour out the water.

• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not

immerse the unit, the power cord and the power plug of the unit into water or other liquids. Unplug the thermopot in case you don’t use it and before cleaning.

• Do not wash the thermopot in a dishwashing

machine.

• Before taking the thermopot away for storage

and before cleaning, unplug the unit, pour out water and let the unit cool down and dry.

• For children safety reasons do not leave poly-

ethylene bags used as a packaging unattended.

Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of

suffocation!

• Do not allow children under 8 years of age

to touch the unit body, the power cord or the power plug during operation of the unit.

• Do not leave children unattended to prevent

using the unit as a toy.

• Close supervision is necessary when children

under 8 years of age or disabled persons are near the operating unit.

• This unit is not intended for usage by children

under 8 years of age.

• Children aged 8 years and over as well as dis-

abled persons can use this unit only if they are under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety and if they are given all the necessary and understandable instructions concerning the safe usage of the unit and information about danger that can be caused by its improper usage.

• To avoid damages, transport the unit in the

original package only.

• Never use the unit if the power cord or the

power plug is damaged, if the unit works improperly or after it was dropped.

• Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not dis-

assemble the unit by yourself, if any mal-

function is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center at the contact addresses given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.

• Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-

abled persons.

THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least three hours at room temperature before switching on.

• Unpack the thermopot and remove any stick-

ers that can prevent its operation.

• Check the thermopot for damages, do not use

it in case of damages.

• Before switching on, make sure that the oper-

ating voltage of the unit corresponds to the voltage of your mains.

How to open, detach and install the thermopot lid:

Press the lid opening button (8) and, holding the lifted part of it, open the removable upper lid (11) about halfway, then holding the thermopot with the second hand, pull the lid towards the control panel (6) and remove it. To install the lid (11) in place, insert the lid axis (13) in the lock (10) and press the lid from above to the «click».

• Open the lid (11).

• Fill the thermopot with water using a suitable

bowl, do not exceed the maximal water level mark (14) «FULL».

• Insert the power cord connector (17) into the

socket (16) on the unit body, and insert the power plug into the mains socket.

• The thermopot will automatically be switched

to the boiling mode, the indicator (21) will light up red on the control panel (6). At the same time, the display (5) will show the current water temperature (indicator 27).

• After the water in the thermopot starts boil-

ing, the unit will be switched to the keep warm mode, the indicator (21) will change the color of light from red to yellow.

• After the first boiling, drain all the water; to

do this, you must unlock the activation of the water pump by pressing button (26) «Unlock», the indicator will light up (24).

• Place a suitable bowl under the spout for

pouring water (4) then press the upper water dispensing button (7) and drain about half of the water.

Note: the water is dispensed only when the indicator (22) is switched on.

• Remove the power cord from the mains

socket.

• Remove the lid (11).

• While holding the carrying handle (12), drain

the remaining water from the thermopot by tilting it sideways.

• Install the lid (11) back to its place.

Attention! To avoid scalding by hot water be careful while pouring out water.

USAGE OF THE THERMOPOT

• Open the lid (11).

• Fill the thermopot with water and plug the

power cord into the mains socket.

• The thermopot will automatically be switched

to the boiling mode, the indicator (21) on the control panel (6) will light up red. At the same time, the display (5) will show the current water temperature (indicator 27).

• After the water in the thermopot starts boil-

ing, the unit will be switched to maintaining the temperature that was preset with the heating temperature selection button (20) «Temperature selection», temperature is shown on the display (5) (indicator 29), at the same time the indicator (21) will change the color of light from red to yellow.

Note: By default, the temperature is maintained at +85°C.

Heating temperature selection

• Heating temperature is selected by press-

ing the button (20) «TEMPERATURE SELECTION», after which the set temperature will be shown on the display (5) (indicator 29). Repeatedly pressing the button (20) «TEMPERATURE SELECTION», you can set the heating temperature: +45°C, +55°C, +65°C,+ 85°C,+98°C on or turn the heating off by selecting CL. Flashing symbols «CL» indicate that the temperature maintenance mode is disabled, the indicator (21) is off.

• If the water temperature drops below the pre-

set level, the unit will begin to heat the water and will be switched to the temperature maintenance mode, the display (5) will show the current water temperature (indicator 27).

• If the water level gets below the mark (1)

«MIN», open the lid (11) and refill the thermopot with water; do not exceed the maximum water level mark (14) «FULL».

Re-boiling

• In the temperature maintenance mode you

can switch water boiling on again. To do this, press the button (19) «BOILING/STOP», the indicator (21) will change its color from yellow to red.

Water dispensing

• Water can be dispensed in two ways:

– by pressing the water dispense button (7); – automatically, when you press with an

appropriate vessel on the lower water dispence button (3) (pic. 1).

Attention!

Water can dispensed only when the indicator (24) is on, locking|unlocking is done by pressing the «UNLOCK» button (26). Note: When the thermopot is used for the first time, an air block may build up in the water dispense pump. In order to eliminate the air block, open and close the unit several times.

Delayed Start

• You can delay the thermopot switch-on time

(for 1 to 12 hours) by pressing the «DELAYED START» button (25) consequently. The set time of delayed start will appear in the display (indicator 28). The set time will begin to be counted down. At the end of the set time the thermopot will go into the water boiling mode, and then to the temperature maintenance mode.

Power saving mode

In this mode water temperature maintenance is turned off at night. To activate this mode, press and hold down the «TEMPERATURE SELECTION» button (20) for more than 5 seconds, the power saving mode indicator (22) lights up blue. When it gets dark, the thermopot will be automatically switched to the power saving mode, wherein temperature maintenance, display, all the illumination and control buttons will be off and the power-saving mode (22) will start flashing. At daylight all functions of the thermopot will be restored.

Note: To control the power-saving mode, there is a light sensor (23) on the front panel of the

unit. Do not cover the light sensor with foreign objects.

To turn off the power-saving mode, press and hold down the button (20) «TEMPERATURE SELECTION» for more than 5 seconds, and the power-saving mode indicator (22) goes out.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Before cleaning, disconnect the unit from the

mains, let it cool down.

• Remove the lid (11).

• Pour out the remaining water from the ther-

mopot, install the lid (11) back to its place.

• Clean the thermopot’s outer surface with a

soft damp cloth and then wipe the unit dry. Do not use metal brushes, abrasives and solvents to clean the thermopot.

• Do not immerse the thermopot, the power

cord and the power plug into water or other liquids.

• Do not wash the thermopot in a dishwashing

machine.

Stains on the inner surface of the thermopot

The inner metal surface may change its color under the influence of different water impurities.

• To remove the stains, wet a cloth with citric

acid or vinegar and wipe the inner surface of the thermopot flask.

• To remove the flavour of citric acid or vinegar,

boil water and pour it out. Repeat this procedure several times until the smell and taste vanish completely.

Descaling

• Scale, appearing inside the thermopot, influ-

ences the water taste and disturbs the heat exchange between water and heating element, which can lead to overheating and malfunction.

• To remove scale, fill the thermopot flask with

a mixture of one part ordinary vinegar and two parts water up to the maximal water level mark «FULL» (14). Boil the liquid and leave it in the unit overnight.

• In the morning pour out the liquid, fill thermo-

pot with clean water up to the maximal mark «FULL» (14), boil and pour out the water; if necessary repeat this procedure twice.

• You can use special detergents for electric

kettles to remove scale, strictly following the instructions on their usage.

• Clean the thermopot from scale regularly.

STORAGE

• After using the unit, turn it off and wait until it

cools down.

• Open the lid (11).

• Drain water from the thermopot, wipe it dry,

install the lid (11) in place and take the thermopot away for storage.

SICHERHEITSMAßNAHMEN

Vor der ersten Nutzung der Thermosflasche lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch und bewahren Sie diese für weitere Referenz auf. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur bestimmungsmäßig und laut dieser Bedienungsanleitung. Nicht ordnungsgemäße Nutzung des Geräts kann zu seiner Störung führen und einen gesundheitlichen oder materiellen Schaden beim Nutzer hervorrufen.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die

Betriebsspannung des Geräts und die Netzspannung übereinstimmen.

• Das Netzkabel ist mit einem «Eurostecker»

ausgestattet; stecken Sie diesen in die Steckdose mit sicherer Erdung ein.

• Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker beim

Anschließen des Geräts ans Stromnetz, um Stromschlagrisiko zu vermeiden.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, das Gerät im

Badezimmer zu benutzen. Benutzen Sie es in der Nähe von Schwimmbecken oder anderen mit Wasser gefüllten Behältern nicht.

• Benutzen Sie die Thermosflasche in direk-

ter Nähe von Wärmequellen oder offenem Feuer nicht.

• Stellen Sie die Thermosflasche auf eine

ebene und standfeste Oberfläche auf, stellen Sie das Gerät an den Tischrand nicht auf.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, das Gerät in der Nähe

von Wänden oder Möbel aufzustellen, der Abstand vom Gerät zu jeglichen Oberflächen soll mindestens 30 cm betragen.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, das Gerät draußen zu

benutzen.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, das Netzkabel mit nas-

sen Händen anzuschließen und abzutrennen, das kann zum Stromschlag oder zur Verletzung führen.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel vom

Tisch nicht herabhängt und heiße Oberflächen nicht berührt.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, das Netzkabel beim

Abschalten des Geräts vom Stromnetz zu ziehen. Halten Sie den Netzstecker.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät ohne Wasser nicht ein.

• Benutzen Sie die Thermosflasche nur fürs

Wasseraufkochen, es ist nicht gestattet, andere Flüssigkeiten darin aufzuwärmen oder aufzukochen.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserstand nicht

unter der minimalen Wasserstandsmarke und

nicht über der maximalen Wasserstandsmarke liegt.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, Wasser in die

Thermosflasche während oder sofort nach dem Kochen nachzugießen.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, die Thermosflasche

direkt aus dem Wasserhahn einzufüllen, benutzen Sie dafür ein passendes Geschirr.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht fallen, neigen Sie

es nicht und kippen Sie es nicht um.

• Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät nie

unbeaufsichtigt.

• Öffnen Sie den Deckel während des

Wasserkochens nicht und führen Sie Wasser nicht zu.

• Wenden Sie das Gerät hin und her während

der Einschaltung der Wasserzufuhr nicht.

• Schließen Sie den Deckel sicher zu, wenden

Sie aber dafür keine übermäßige Kraft an.

• Halten Sie Ihre Hände von den

Dampfablasslöchern fern und beugen Sie sich über die Dampfablasslöcher nicht, das kann Verbrühungen hervorrufen. Decken Sie die Dampfablasslöcher mit keinen fremden Gegenständen.

• Heben Sie das Gerät am Tragegriff während

des Kochens nicht auf, um Verbrühungen durch austretenden Dampf zu vermeiden. Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Geräts während des Wasserkochens und gleich nach dem Aufkochen nicht.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, heiße Oberflächen der

Thermosflasche zu berühren.

• Seien Sie beim Tragen des mit kochendem

Wasser gefüllten Geräts vorsichtig, drücken Sie die Taste der Deckelöffnung nicht.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, die Thermosflasche mit-

tels der Taste der Deckelöffnung zu tragen.

• Vor dem Abgießen des Restwassers lassen

Sie das Gerät abkühlen, dann nehmen Sie den Deckel der Thermosflasche ab und gießen Sie Wasser ab.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel

und den Netzstecker ins Wasser oder jegliche andere Flüssigkeiten nicht ein, um Stromschlagrisiko zu vermeiden. Trennen Sie die Thermosflasche vor der Reinigung und wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen vom Stromnetz ab.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, die Thermosflasche in

der Geschirrspülmaschine zu waschen.

• Bevor Sie die Thermosflasche zur langen

Aufbewahrung wegnehmen oder Reinigung

vornehmen, trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz ab, gießen Sie Wasser ab und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen und abtrocknen.

• Aus Kindersicherheitsgründen lassen Sie

Plastiktüten, die als Verpackung verwendet werden, nie ohne Aufsicht.

Achtung! Lassen Sie Kinder mit Plastiktüten oder Verpackungsfolien nicht spielen.

Erstickungsgefahr!

• Lassen Sie Kinder unter 8 Jahren das

Gerätegehäuse, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker während des Gerätebetriebs nicht berühren.

• Beaufsichtigen Sie Kinder, damit sie das

Gerät als Spielzeug nicht benutzen.

• Besondere Vorsichtsmaßnahmen sind in

den Fällen angesagt, wenn sich Kinder unter 8 Jahren oder behinderte Personen in der Nähe vom eingeschalteten Gerät aufhalten.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den Gebrauch von

Kindern unter 8 Jahren geeignet.

• Dieses Gerät darf von Kindern ab 8 Jahren

und behinderten Personen nur dann genutzt werden, wenn sie sich unter Aufsicht der Person befinden, die für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlich ist, und wenn ihnen entsprechende und verständliche Anweisungen über sichere Nutzung des Geräts und die Gefahren bei seiner falschen Nutzung gegeben wurden.

• Um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden,

• Es ist nicht gestattet, das Gerät zu benutzen,

wenn der Netzstecker oder das Netzkabel beschädigt sind, wenn das Gerät nicht richtig funktioniert oder heruntergefallen ist.

• Es ist nicht gestattet, das Gerät selbstän-

dig zu reparieren. • Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem für Kinder

VOR DER ERSTEN NUTZUNG

Falls das Gerät unter niedrigen Temperaturen transportiert oder aufbewahrt wurde, lassen Sie es bei der Raumlufttemperatur nicht weniger als drei Stunden bleiben.

• Nehmen Sie die Thermosflasche aus der

Verpackung heraus und entfernen Sie alle Aufkleber, die seinen Betrieb stören.

• Prüfen Sie die Ganzheit der Thermosflasche,

wenn das Gerät beschädigt ist, benutzen Sie es nicht.

• Vor dem Einschalten des Geräts vergewissern

Sie sich, dass die Betriebsspannung des Geräts und die Netzspannung übereinstimmen.

Wie wird der Deckel der Thermosflasche geöffnet, abgetrennt und aufgestellt:

Drücken Sie die Taste der Deckelöffnung (8) und öffnen sie den abnehmbaren oberen Deckel (11) ungefähr um die Hälfte, indem Sie den abgehobenen Teil anfassen, danach ziehen Sie den Deckel in der Richtung der Bedienungsplatte (6) und nehmen Sie ihn ab, indem Sie die Thermosflasche mit dem zweiten Hand halten. Um den Deckel (11) zurück aufzustellen, stellen Sie die Achse des Deckels (13) in die Halterung (10) ein und drücken Sie den Deckel von oben bis zum «Knacken».

• Öffnen Sie den Deckel (11).

• Gießen Sie Wasser in die Thermosflasche

ein, indem Sie ein passendes Geschirr benutzen, übersteigen Sie die maximale Wasserstandsmarke (14) «FULL» nicht.

• Stecken Sie den Steckverbinder des

Netzkabels (17) in den Netzkabelanschluss (16) am Gehäuse des Geräts, und den Netzstecker - in die Steckdose ein.

• Thermosflasche schaltet sich in den

Wasserkochenbetrieb automatisch um, dabei leuchtet die Anzeige (21) an der Bedienungsplatte (6) rot. Auf dem Bildschirm (5) wird die laufende Wassertemperatur (Anzeige 27) angezeigt.

• Nach dem Aufkochen des Wassers in der

Thermosflasche schaltet sich das Gerät in den Betrieb der Temperaturhaltung um, dabei verändert die Anzeige (21) die Leuchtfarbe vom rot auf gelb.

• Nach dem ersten Aufkochen gießen Sie das

Wasser ab; dafür sollen Sie die Einschaltung der Wasserzufuhrpumpe entsperren, indem Sie die Taste (26) «Entriegelung» drücken, dabei leuchtet die Anzeige (24).

• Stellen Sie ein passendes Geschirr unter die

Tülle (4), danach drücken Sie die obere Taste der Wasserzufuhr (7) und gießen Sie ungefähr die Hälfte ab.

Anmerkung: die Wasserzufuhr erfolgt nur wenn die Anzeige (22) leuchtet.

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der

Steckdose heraus.

• Nehmen Sie den Deckel (11) ab.

• Indem Sie den Tragegriff (12) halten, gießen

Sie das Restwasser aus dem Behälter der Thermosflasche, indem Sie sie beugen.

• Stellen Sie den Deckel (11) zurück auf.

Achtung! Seien Sie während des Abgießens des Wassers vorsichtig, um Verbrühungen durch Heißwasser zu vermeiden.

NUTZUNG DER THERMOSFLASCHE

• Öffnen Sie den Deckel (11).

• Füllen Sie die Thermosflasche mit Wasser und

stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose ein.

• Thermosflasche schaltet sich in den

Wasserkochenbetrieb automatisch um, dabei leuchtet die Anzeige (21) an der Bedienungsplatte (6) rot. Auf dem Bildschirm (5) wird die laufende Wassertemperatur (Anzeige 27) angezeigt.

• Nach dem Aufkochen des Wassers in der

Thermosflasche schaltet sich das Gerät in den Betrieb der Temperaturhaltung um, die mit der Wahltaste der Wassertemperatur (20) «Wahl der Temperatur» vorgestellt wurde, die Temperaturanzeige wird auf dem Bildschirm (5) (Anzeige 29) angezeigt, dabei verändert die Anzeige (21) die Leuchtfarbe vom rot auf gelb.

Anmerkung: Standardmäßig wird die Temperatur auf dem Niveau +85°C gehalten.

Wahl der Erwärmungstemperatur

• Wahl der Erwärmungstemperatur wird

durch das Drücken der Taste (20) «WAHL DER TEMPERATUR» vollzogen, dabei wird auf dem Bildschirm (5) die eingestellte Temperatur (Anzeige 29) angezeigt. Indem Sie die Taste (20) «WAHL DER TEMPERATUR» aufeinanderfolgend drücken, können Sie die Erwärmungstemperatur einstellen: +45°C, +55°C, +65°C, +85°C, +98°C oder die Heizung ausschalten, indem Sie CL wählen. Die blinkenden Symbole «CL» zeigen, dass der Betrieb der Temperaturhaltung ausgeschaltet ist, dabei leuchtet die Anzeige (21) nicht.
