Up to Eight Emergency Phones

Can Share One Telephone Line

The LC-8 Line Concentrator eliminates the
monthly charges for dedicated phone lines to
each elevator cab in an office, college, hotel,
hospital, etc. A call initiated by any emergency
phone is sent to the C.O. line. Subsequent calls
activate call waiting tones to alert the
emergency personnel that another phone has
gone off-hook.

All inbound calls are answered by the LC-8.
The emergency personnel then dials a Touch
Tone command to connect to one of eight
phones.

On both inbound and outbound calls, the emergency personnel can redirect the call to
any of the other phones without hanging up. The LC-8 is compatible with all Viking
emergency elevator phones, standard phones, modems and credit card readers.

Optional Loud Paging

Up to (8) 30AE speakers can be connected to an
M2W paging amplifier (Fax Back Document

480) to supply loud paging in each elevator cab.

Remove the power adapter from the M2W and
connect the leads to the paging power pair on the

LC-8 as shown above.

B. Modem Application

The LC-8 can be used for up to eight modems to share one conditioned C.O. line for data transmissions. This gives
multiple modems the high speed data transmission advantages of a conditioned line for the cost of only one
conditioned line. For more information on this application, retrieve Fax Back Document 820.
