3.1 Preparations for use
Only Rescue paths in perfect condition and tted with original Vetter ination ttings are to be used.
4. Operating instructions
4.1 Ination
Open the packing bag and remove the Rescue Path. Lay out the Rescue Path in the intended direction which is to be free of any obstacles.
Press the connection nipple of the ination hose for the Rescue Path (Item no.: 1530 0034 01) into the coupling on the ination connection.
Check to see if the O-ring is available in the connection before connecting the compressed air bottle.
Securely connect the hand connection of the ination hose onto the valve on the bottle. Open the valve on the bottle. The Rescue Path rolls out.
The integrated safety valve, 0.5 bar, avoids ination in excess of 0.5 bar. Immediately close the valve on the bottle if, during ination, you hear the safety valve blowing out.
Before use, it is necessary to disconnect the ination device from the Rescue Path. To do this, pull back the ring sleeve of the coupling and withdraw the hose out of the coupling. A check valve in the Path connection stops any loss of air.
Danger of tearing! Wear protection gloves!
4.2 Deation by using the draining valve
Page 3/6
The air can be drained by pressing the star-shaped draining valve. The draining valve is locked into the open position by turning it clockwise.

4.3 Deation with the vacuum adapter
Press the vacuum adapter (Item no.: 1600 0163 00), with the connection nipple, into the draining valve. Connect the bottle pressure reducer to the bottle valve on the one side and to the vacuum adapter on the other side. Open the bottle valve and set the back pressure on the regulator bar of the pressure reducer to approximately 6 bar. The Rescue path can be quickly packed without difculty after deating by rolling up in the direction of the ination valve.
The draining valve must be completely closed before packing!
4.4 Care and maintenance
The Rescue path and its equipment are to be cleaned each time after use. Cleaning of the Rescue path is to be carried out with warm water (max. 30° C) and soap.
The clean Rescue path should be dried at normal room temperature (15° C). Storage in cool, dry, clean and aerated condition.
