Personal protection equipment necessary for operation, such as protection clothing, gloves, helmet, eye and/or face protection, are to be worn.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Application
Determine the required length of the ART Lite struts which can be used for shoring, if necessary t an additional extension on each strut. Select the required head piece and conncect this with the piston end of the strut. Remove the safety pins at the end of the strut or extension. Place the head piece onto the piston end and insert the safety pin through the holes at the piston end and the head piece.
Bring the ART Lite structs into the required positions. Pull out the struts so that the foot plate makes contact with the ground and the head piece is at the support position. Insert the safety pins into the nearest piston hole above the adjustment ring. Using the T-grips turn the adjustment ring clockwise at the T-grips until the head piece and the foot plate are securely attached to the ground and the load. If necessary, place the safety pins into the next hole. Secure the adjustment ring by screwing in the T-grip.

Using the tension belts, all the applied struts are pulled near the vehicle being shored and then secured. It may also be necessary that the struts have to be secured under each other with the tension belts.

Extensive under-support measures with wooden blocks and/or wedges may be necessary, this is determined at the location by the head of the operation.
