VERTU HP-1V HEADPHONES USER GUIDE
Thank you for purchasing the Vertu HP-1V over-the-ear headphones. The HP-1V headphones are designed to provide crystal-clear
sound for both media and phone calls, and are completely comfortable however long you wear them. You can use the headphones
with Vertu phones that use the Android™ operating system, and handsets with a 3.5 mm audio jack.

You can use the inline control cable when you make calls or
listen to music. The inline controls and mic are supported by
Vertu phones using the Android™ operating system.
Note: The Vertu Ti does not support the control buttons.

CARING FOR THE COMPONENTS OF YOUR HP-1V HEADPHONES
Do:
•
Keep all components dry and free of dust and dirt.
•
Clean the components with a soft cloth.
Do not:
•
Use or store the components in hot or cold places.
•
Drop, knock or shake the components.
•
Use harsh or abrasive chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong
detergents to clean the components.
•
Paint the components.

PROTECT YOUR HEARING
•
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not
listen at high volume levels for long periods.
•
Before you change source or plug in the jack
connector, always set the volume of your media
device to low.
SAFETY
•
When you use the HP-1V headphones, your ability to hear
outside sounds may be aected. Do not use the HP-1V
headphones where it can endanger your safety.
•
Always maintain a distance of at least 10cm between the ear
cup and any cardiac pace maker.
•
Do not insert the jack plug into electric sockets.
•
Supervise children when they use this device, as it is not a
toy.
•
Take care when you handle this device as it may contain
sharp edges.

We, Vertu, declare, under our sole responsibility, that
the product, over the ear headphones, type HP-1V is
in conformity with the provision of Council Directive
1999/5/EC. A copy of the Declaration of Conformity can
be found at http://www.vertu.com.

The surface of this product is nickel-free.
RoHS STATEMENT
This Product does not contain any of the substances, listed
in accordance with EU RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous
Substances) Directive 2011/65/EU.

EU RECYCLING NOTICE
Vertu complies with European Community requirements for the
recycling of Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
Such compliance is indicated by the addition of the crossed-out
wheeled-bin symbol to the Product where appropriate.
This symbol indicates that the Product was put onto the
market after the WEEE legislation was implemented, and
that the consumer should not dispose of the Product as
normal household waste or unsorted municipal waste,
but that it should be appropriately recycled. Background
information on the European WEEE directive is available
from http://ec.europa.eu/environment/waste/weee/index_

If you want Vertu to recycle your Product at the end of its life,
please either return it to the point from which you purchased it (if
known), or return it to Vertu’s headquarters. Alternatively, should
you purchase a replacement Product from another supplier, the
new supplier is obliged to take back the original Product and
