These torches are high-quality products tested individually and guaranteed in order to provide safe
and excellent performance. Note that the connection to the gas cylinder must be made with a rubber
hose approved by the laws of the country of use.

2. Before Use

Make sure the rubber hose is in good condition, the connection of the rubber hose to the cylinder
with hose clamps is tight and that the rubber can withstand the pressure.

3. Ignition

Open the cylinder tap and turn on slowly the tap of the torch. Bring a flame just under the burner.

4. Use

Adjust the flame intensity by opening or closing the tap. In case the device is provided with an
opening lever, reduce the flame to its minimum by turning the knob and operate the lever to get the
suitable flame intensity. The lever’s release involves an automatic and immediate return to the
minimum flame setup.

5. Maintenance

The use of dirty gas coming from the cylinder bottom may cause a partial blocking of the jet. To
clean it, remove the burner and the injector, and wash carefully with gasoline or a similar product, or
with thin wire. Do not widen the injector.

6. Interchangeable Burners

In case the instrument is supplied with interchangeable burners or you need additional ones,
remove the installed burner from the device together with the hexagonal adapter and assemble the
new one. Pay attention to the fit of the aluminium washer.

The WELD-108 is supplied with 40mm flat burners and 20mm welding and soldering burners. They
must be tightened up directly to the 17mm burner installed in the torch.

7. Important

Do not pull the rubber hose if connected to the gas cylinder. Verify the condition of the hose before
use. Replace it if damaged, cut or overheated. The hose must be changed within the expiring date
printed on the hose.

Le WELD-108 est un chalumeau de haute qualité, testé individuellement, qui garantit une facilité
d’utilisation et d’excellentes prestations en toute sécurité. La connexion à la bouteille de gaz devra
être effectuée grâce à un tuyau en caoutchouc homologué selon la norme en vigueur dans le pays
d’utilisation.

2. Avant l’utilisation

S’assurer que le tuyau de connexion entre le chalumeau et la bouteille soit en parfait état, bien fixé
aux extrémités par des colliers serre-tubes, et qu’il soit en mesure de supporter la pression
d’utilisation.

3. Allumage

Ouvrir le robinet de la bouteille et puis celui sur le chalumeau de façon modérée. Approcher une
flamme juste à la bouche du brûleur.
