This device should be returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service.

Thank you for buying the VL3000! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the
device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Do not use the battery charger in a damp environment or at high temperatures.
• This battery charger is for indoor use only.
• Only charge one type of NiMH rechargeable batteries at the time. Alkaline, zinc-carbon, lithium or any other kind
of battery may leak and/or burst.
• Never short-circuit a battery.
• Never throw batteries into an open fire.
• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.
• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.
• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
3. Remarks
• A new rechargeable battery will attain its optimal capacity after two or three charge processes.
• A charging battery will heat up, which is absolutely normal. Therefore, it is best to put your VL3000 in a well-
ventilated area during charging.
• Take the batteries out of the charger when not charging.
• The best ambient temperature for charging is from 0°C to 35°C.
4. Use
• Connect the adapter to the charger. Plug the adapter into the mains. The green and the red LED will light briefly.
• Insert the batteries into the slots respecting the polarity. The corresponding LED will turn red. Note that when an
incompatible type of battery has been inserted, the LED will flash red.
• When the batteries are sufficiently charged, the red LED will turn green. At that time, unplug the charger from the
mains and remove the batteries from the charger.
Keep this device away from rain and moisture.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies
• De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal
de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
• Gebruik de VL3000 niet in een vochtige omgeving of bij hoge temperaturen.
• Deze batterijlader is enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis.
• Laad enkel een type NiMH herlaadbare batterijen tegelijk. Alkaline-, koolstof-zink-, lithium- of andere batterijen
kunnen lekken en/of exploderen.
Bescherm dit toestel tegen regen en vochtigheid.

• De batterijen nooit kortsluiten.
• Gooi de batterijen nooit in het vuur.
• De beschikbare netspanning mag niet hoger zijn dan de spanning in de specificaties achteraan de handleiding.
• De voedingskabel mag niet omgeplooid of beschadigd zijn. Laat uw dealer zo nodig een nieuwe kabel plaatsen.
• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact (trek nooit aan de kabel!) voordat u het toestel reinigt en als u het niet gebruikt.
3. Opmerkingen
• Een nieuwe herlaadbare batterij bereikt haar optimale vermogen na drie tot vier laadbeurten.
• De batterij warmt tijdens de laadbeurt lichtjes op, wat absoluut normaal is. Het is dus aangeraden om uw VL3000
op een goed geventileerde plaats te gebruiken.
• Verwijder de batterijen uit de lader wanneer u ze niet herlaadt.
• De optimale laadtemperatuur ligt tussen 0°C en 35°C.
4. Gebruik
• Koppel de adapter aan de lader. Koppel de adapter aan het lichtnet. De groen en de rode led’s lichten kortstondig
op.
• Plaats de batterijen in de daartoe bestemde gleuven en respecteer de polariteit. De overeenstemmende led licht
rood op. Merk dat wanneer u een verkeerde batterij plaatst, de led rood zal flitsen.
• De led licht groen op wanneer de batterijen voldoende zijn geladen. Ontkoppel de adapter van het lichtnet en
verwijder de batterijen.

2. Prescriptions de sécurité
• La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en négligeant certaines directives de cette notice et votre
revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui en résultent.
• Ne pas utiliser le chargeur dans un environnement humide ou avec des températures élevées.
• N’utiliser le chargeur qu’à l’intérieur.
• Ne charger qu’un seul type d’accu NiMH à la fois. Les accus alcalins, salins, au lithium ou tout autre type d’accus
peuvent couler et/ou exploser.
• Ne pas court-circuiter les accus.
• Ne jamais jeter les accus dans le feu.
• La tension réseau ne peut pas dépasser la tension mentionnée dans les spécifications à la fin de cette notice.
• Le câble d’alimentation ne peut pas être replissé ou endommagé. Demander à votre revendeur de renouveler le
câble d’alimentation si nécessaire.
• Débrancher l’appareil s’il n’est pas utilisé ou pour le nettoyer. Tirer la fiche pour débrancher l'appareil ; non pas le câble.
3. Remarque
• Un nouvel accu atteint sa capacité optimale après deux ou trois processus de charge.
• Les accus peuvent légèrement chauffer lors de la charge, ce qui est phénomène normal. Nous vous conseillons
donc d’utiliser votre VL3000 dans un endroit bien ventilé.
• Retirer les accus du chargeur lorsque le processus de charge est terminé.
• Charger les accus à une température ambiante entre 0°C et 35°C.
4. Emploi
• Raccorder l’adaptateur au chargeur. Insérer l’adaptateur dans une prise de courant. Les LEDs rouge et verte
s’allument brièvement.
• Insérer les accus dans les fentes en respectant la polarité. Le LED correspondante s’allume en rouge. Notez que
l’insertion d’un accu non compatible sera indiquée par une LED rouge clignotante.
• Une fois le processus de charge complété, la LED rouge s’allume en vert. Débrancher l’adaptateur du réseau et
retirer les accus du chargeur.
Protéger l’appareil contre la pluie et l’humidité.

• Nunca eche las baterías al fuego.
• Asegúrese de que la tensión de red no sea mayor que la tensión indicada en las especificaciones.
• No aplaste el cable de alimentación y protéjalo contra posibles daños causados por algún tipo de superficie
afilada. Si es necesario, pida a su distribuidor reemplazar el cable de alimentación.
• Desconecte siempre el aparato si no va a usarlo durante un largo período de tiempo o antes de limpiarlo. Tire

3. Nota
• Una nueva batería alcanza su capacidad óptima después de dos o tres procedimientos de carga.
• Puede que las baterías se calientan ligeramente durante la carga. Esto es normal. Por tanto, utilice el VL3000 en
un lugar bien aireado.
• Saque las baterías del cargador si el procedimiento de carga está terminado.
• Cargue las baterías a una temperatura ambiente entre 0°C y 35°C.
4. Uso
• Conecte el adaptador al cargador. Enchufe el adaptador. Los LEDs rojos y verdes se iluminan brevemente.
• Introduzca las baterías en las ranuras y respete la polaridad. El LED rojo correspondiente se ilumina. Tenga en
cuenta que introducir una batería no compatible se indicará por un LED rojo intermitente.
• Después de que la batería esté completamente cargada, el LED rojo se vuelve verde. Desconecte el adaptador
de la red y saque las baterías del cargador.

2. Sicherheitshinweise

• Verwenden Sie das VL3000 nicht in einer feuchten Umgebung oder bei hohen Temperaturen.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in Innenräumen.
• Das Gerät eignet sich nur zum Aufladen von NiMH-Batterien. Laden Sie keine anderen Batterien (Alkaline-, Zink-
Kohle - oder Lithiumbatterien), um Beschädigungen am Ladegerät und auslaufende oder explodierende Batterien
zu vermeiden.
• Schließen Sie niemals die Batterien nie kurz.
• Werfen Sie niemals die Batterien ins Feuer.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die anzuschließende Netzspannung nicht höher ist als die Netzspannung
beschrieben in dieser Bedienungsanleitung.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzleitung nicht gequetscht oder durch scharfe Kanten beschädigt werden kann. Bei
Beschädigungen soll eine Fachkraft das Kabel ersetzen.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät bei Nichtbenutzung und vor jeder Reinigung vom Netz. Fassen Sie dazu den Netzstecker
an der Grifffläche an und ziehen Sie nie an der Netzleitung.
3. Bemerkungen
• Eine neue wiederaufladbare Batterie erreicht eine Höchstleistung nach drei bis vier Ladevorgängen.
• Die Batterie wärmt während eines Ladevorgangs leicht auf. Dies ist normal. Verwenden Sie das VL3000 also in
Räumen mit einer guten Lüftung.
• Nehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Ladegerät heraus wenn Sie diese nicht wieder aufladen.
• Die optimale Ladetemperatur befindet sich zwischen 0°C und 35°C.
4. Anwendung
• Verbinden Sie den Adapter mit dem Ladegerät. Verbinden Sie den Adapter mit dem Netz. Die grünen und roten
LEDs leuchten kurz.
• Legen Sie die Batterien in die dafür bestimmten Schlitze ein. Beachten Sie die Polarität. Die übereinstimmende
rote LED leuchtet. Beim Einlegen einer falschen Batterie wird die rote LED blinken.
• Die grüne LED leuchtet wenn die Batterien genügend aufgeladen sind. Trennen Sie den Adapter vom Netz und
nehmen Sie die Batterien heraus.
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Regen und Feuchte.
