Low-impedance outputs: the total impedance on a terminal must not be less than the impedance indicated on the terminal.

100V output: the total speaker load must not exceed the amplifier’s capacity. For example, a 15W amplifier can drive 7 speakers of 2W. (7 x 2W = 14W < 15W).
(7 x 2W = 14W < 15W).

6. Troubleshooting
The amplifier stops working.
Turn the volume knobs of all channels to zero, switch off the amplifier and disconnect from the mains. Check the front panel, the fuse and all input and output connections. Replace the fuse with a fuse of the same type and ratings.
No sound when power LED is off.
The power supply is not connected or the amplifier has a blown fuse. Check the power connections and switches, or replace the fuse with a fuse of the same type and ratings.

No sound when power LED is on.
No or low input, or faulty speakers. Check if the input is connected. Gently increase the volume level and check the speakers and speaker connections.
Hum or buzz.
Power supply noise is picked up in the signal path or earth problem. Only use good quality, shielded signal cables and ensure they are kept away from the power cables and other AC-powered equipment. Use a mains tester to ensure the mains outlet has a good earth.
Distorted sound.
o There is an excessive signal level or damaged signal cables. Only use good quality, shielded signal cables
and protect them from damage.
o There is an impedance or load mismatch. o The speaker wires are damaged. o The speakers are broken.
Sound cuts out.
The signal cables are damaged or the connectors are not properly inserted. Check all cables and connections.
7. Maintenance
Regularly wipe the amplifier with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
Ensure that liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through the ventilation openings.
Contact your HQPower™ dealer if your amplifier needs servicing.
