1. Introduction

6. Basic Operation

6.1 Charging your Recorder

Connect the recorder to a powered USB port using the included cable. This recorder supports fast-charging technology. For best results, it is recommended to fully charge the recorder.

 5 minutes of charging will support 3 hours of recording  20 minutes of charging will charge 80 % of the battery power  60 minutes of charging will fully charge the battery

Make sure to press M to eject the recorder from the computer system.

6.2 Switching On/Off

Slide and hold down the power button for 3 seconds to switch the recorder on or off. By default, the recorder will automatically switch off 90 seconds after the last operation. Slide the power button up to lock the keys.

6.3 Selecting a File

 Press to select the previous file; hold pressed to rewind.  Press to select the next file; hold pressed to fast forward.

6.4 Play/Pause/Stop

1. At standby, press / to start playing the selected file.

2. Press to pause the recorded file. Press again to continue.

3. Press / to stop playing the selected file.

6.5 Setting the Volume

1. At standby, press the volume button once. The volume level bar flashes.

2. Adjust the volume level with / .

3. Press the volume button again to exit the function.

6.6 A-B Repeat Playing

1. During playing, press the delete button to set the A point; press the delete button again to set the B point.

2. The recorder will automatically start playing the A-B loop five times. Press any button except for the volume

button to cancel the repeated play.

6.7 Playing Options

At standby or during playing, press M to enter the menu. Select the submenu with / and confirm with M. Press to return or to exit.

TempoRate (Playing Speed)

The recorder supports eight fast and eight slow playing speeds. Default speed is 0.

Repeat (Cycle Mode) The recorder supports different playing modes. Please refer to the chapter 5. LCD Overview, number 15.

Equalizer The recorder supports different equalizer presets. Please refer to the chapter 5. LCD Overview, number 8.

7. System Settings

At standby, hold M pressed for 3 seconds to enter the system settings menu. Select the submenu with / and confirm with M. Press to return or to exit.

7.1 SystemTime

1. Press the volume button once. The digit flashes.

2. Adjust with / .

3. Press the volume button again to select the next digit or to confirm.

7.2 Backlight

The backlight is selectable from 0 to 30 seconds. Set the backlight with / and confirm with M.

7.3 Language

Select the language with / and confirm with M.

7.4 Power Off

The power-off delay is selectable from 0 to 180 seconds, with 0 cancelling the automatic power off. Set the delay with / and confirm with M.

7.5 Contrast

The LCD contrast is selectable from 0 to 15. Set the contrast with / and confirm with M.

8. Recording

At standby, press to switch between music (MUSIC) and recording (DVR) mode. Make sure the recorder is in recording mode.

REMARK

The size of a single recording cannot exceed 2 GB. In case the recording exceeds this

size, the recording will automatically be saved and a new file will be started.

8.2 Starting/Stopping a Recording

1. In recording mode, slide the recording switch up to start recording. The switch LED will light.

2. Press to pause/restart the recording.

3. Slide the recording switch down to stop the recording. The switch LED will turn off. The recording will

automatically be saved in the memory.

WARNING

Do not insert the earphones during recording as the recording will be deleted!

9. File Management

9.1 Browsing for a File

At standby, press M to enter the menu. Select the browser submenu with / and confirm with M. Press to return or to exit.

Enter the desired submenu and select the file.

9.2 Deleting a File

10. Cleaning and Maintenance

The recorder does not need any particular maintenance. Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

1. Inleiding

Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. 6. Basisfuncties

6.1 De recorder opladen

Sluit de recorder aan op een gevoede USB-poort via de meegeleverde kabel. Deze recorder laadt zeer snel op. Voor de beste resultaten is het aanbevolen om de batterij volledig op te laden.

 5 min opladen = 3 u opnametijd  20 min opladen = 80% opgeladen  60 min = 100% opgeladen

Druk op M om de recorder te ontkoppelen.

6.2 In- en uitschakelen

Schuif de aan/uit-knop omlaag en houd deze gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt om de recorder in of uit te schakelen. Standaard schakelt de recorder na 90 seconden inactiviteit uit. Schuif de aan/uit-knop omhoog om de toetsen te vergrendelen.

6.3 Een bestand selecteren

 Druk op om het vorige bestand te selecteren. Houd ingedrukt om snel terug te spoelen.  Druk op om het volgende bestand te selecteren. Houd ingedrukt om snel vooruit te spoelen.

6.4 Afspelen/pauze/stoppen

1. In standby-modus, druk op / om het geselecteerde bestand af te spelen.

2. Druk op om het opnamebestand te onderbreken. Druk nogmaals om te hervatten.

3. Druk op / om het afspelen van het geselecteerde bestand te stoppen.

6.5 Het volume instellen

1. In standby-modus, druk eenmaal op VOL. De volumebalk knippert.

2. Stel het volume in met / .

3. Druk nogmaals op VOL om de functie te verlaten.

6.6 A-B-herhaling

1. In afspeelmodus, druk op DEL om het startpunt van de lus (A) in te stellen. Druk nogmaals op DEL om het

einde (B) van de lus in te stellen.

2. De recorder zal het A-B-segment 5 keer automatisch herhalen. Druk op een willekeurige knop (behalve

VOL) om de herhaalde weergave te stoppen.

6.7 Afspeelopties

In standby- of afspeelmodus, druk op M om het menu te openen. Druk op / om het submenu te selecteren en bevestig met M. Druk op om terug te keren of om te verlaten.

TempoRate (afspeelsnelheid)

De recorder ondersteunt 8 snelle en 8 trage afspeelsnelheden. De standaardsnelheid is 0.

Repeat (herhaalmodus) De recorder ondersteunt verschillende afspeelmodi. Zie 5. LCD-display, nummer 15.

Equalizer De recorder ondersteunt verschillende equalizerinstellingen. Zie 5. LCD-display, nummer 8.

7. Systeeminstellingen

In standby-modus, houd M gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt om het systeeminstellingsmenu te openen. Druk op / om het submenu te selecteren en bevestig met M. Druk op om terug te keren of om te verlaten.

7.1 SystemTime

1. Druk eenmaal op VOL. Het cijfer knippert.

2. Stel in met / .

3. Druk nogmaals op VOL om het volgende cijfer te selecteren of om te bevestigen.

7.2 Backlight

De achtergrondverlichting is instelbaar van 0 tot 30 seconden. Druk op / om de achtergrondverlichting in te stellen en bevestig met M.

7.3 Language

Druk op / om de taal in te stellen en bevestig met M.

7.4 Power Off

De uitschakelvertraging is instelbaar van 0 tot 180 seconden (0 = automatische uitschakeling annuleren). Druk op / om de uitschakelvertraging in te stellen en bevestig met M.

7.5 Contrast

Het LCD-contrast is instelbaar van 0 tot 15 seconden. Druk op / om het contrast in te stellen en bevestig met M.

7.6 MemoryInfo

Informatie over de opslagcapaciteit.

Druk op / om het geheugen te selecteren en bevestig met M.

7.8 DefaultSet

Selecteer OK om terug te keren naar de standaardinstellingen.

7.9 FormatDevice

Selecteer OK om de recorder te formatteren.

8. Opname

In standby-modus, druk op om te schakelen tussen de muziekafspeelmodus (MUSIC) en de opnamemodus (DVR). Zorg ervoor dat de recorder in opnamemodus staat.

OPMERKING

Een opnamebestand mag niet groter zijn dan 2 GB. Als de opname groter is dan 2 GB,

wordt de opname automatisch opgeslagen en een nieuw bestand gestart.

8.2 Een opname starten/stoppen

1. In opnamemodus, schuif de opnameschakelaar omhoog om de opname te starten. De opnameled licht op.

2. Druk op om de opname te onderbreken/hervatten.

3. Schuif de opnameschakelaar omlaag om de opname te stoppen. De opnameled gaat uit. De opname wordt

automatisch in het geheugen opgeslagen.

WAARSCHUWING

Sluit de koptelefoon niet aan tijdens de opname, zo niet wordt de opname gewist!

9. Bestandsbeheer

9.1 Een bestand openen

10. Reiniging en onderhoud

Het toestel vereist geen bijzonder onderhoud. Maak het toestel af en toe schoon met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.
