6. Operation

This section describes how to use the headphones as:

 standalone MP3 player  card reader (while connected to your PC)  FM radio  headphones with USB cable  headphones with 3.5 mm audio cable

6.1 Standalone MP3 player

1. Insert an SD card in the headphones' card reader (on the right).

2. Turn on the device.

3. Adjust the volume to a suitable level.

4. Press the PRE/NEXT button to go to the next or previous track.

5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play or pause a track.

6. Press the FM/CARD button to switch between MP3 player and FM radio.

If the device does not contain a card, it will automatically start in FM radio.

To remove a card:

 Turn off the device.  Press the SD card to remove it from the reader.

6.2 Card reader

1. Connect the device to your PC with the included USB cable.

2. Plug an SD card into the headphones' card reader.

3. Switch on the headphones.

Your PC will now read the SD card. You can use it as any other card and copy, delete or move files. If your PC does not read the SD card, turn off the headphones and switch them on again.

To disconnect the headphones:

 Use the "Safely remove hardware" function on your computer to

disconnect the card reader. Not doing so might damage the card.

 Remove the USB cable from the computer.

6.3 FM radio

 Switch on the device.

To go to FM radio mode:

 If you switch on the device and it does not contain a card, it will

automatically start in FM radio mode.

 If the device contains a card, press the FM/CARD button to set the

device in FM radio mode (the power indicator will turn green).

 While listening to music from a card, you can also switch to FM radio

mode with the FM/CARD button.

To start searching for the available stations:

1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button for about 2 seconds. The led indicator

will blink.

2. When you listen to one program playing for more than 6 seconds or

the indicator stops twinkling, searching programs is finished. The headphones will store all the stations searched.

3. Press the PRE/NEXT button to go to the previous or next radio station.

6.4 Headphones with USB cable

1. Connect the device to your PC with the included USB cable.

2. Switch on the headphones

The power indicator is off, the charging indicator (CHE) lights up. You can now listen to any music or movie playing on your PC.

3. Use the buttons PRE, NEXT, PAUSE/PLAY to control playback. Note: You can use the headphones with USB cable even if your PC does not

have a sound card.

6.5 Headphones with 3.5mm audio cable

 Connect the device to your audio set with a 3.5mm audio cable (not

included).

 Make sure the headphones are turned off. (If not, the headphones will

be in FM radio mode and will not play the music on your computer).

 You can now listen to any music or movie playing on your computer.

7. Battery

7.1 Charging the device

To charge the device:

1. Make sure the headphones are turned off.

2. Connect the headphones to your computer with the included USB

cable.

3. The charging indicator (CHE) lights up. The indicator will turn off when

the device is fully charged.

4. The device takes about 3.5 hours to charge. Note: to charge the device more quickly, do not use it while charging.

7.2 Battery maintenance

 The headphones contain an internal rechargeable battery. When the

device is end-of-life, this battery has to be removed and disposed off according to local regulations.

 The battery is located inside the left ear pad (under the volume

buttons). To remove the battery, the housing of the headphones must be broken. Wear sufficient and appropriate protection (goggles, gloves…) when doing so.

5. Omschrijving

6. Gebruik

Dit onderdeel beschrijft hoe de hoofdtelefoon te gebruiken als:

 MP3-speler in autonome modus  kaartlezer (aangesloten op uw computer)  FM radio  hoofdtelefoon met USB-kabel  hoofdtelefoon met 3.5 mm audiokabel

6.1 MP3-speler in autonome modus

1. Plaats een SD-kaart in de kaartlezer van de hoofdtelefoon (rechts).

2. Schakel het toestel in.

3. Regel het volume naar een geschikt geluidsniveau.

4. Druk op de PRE/NEXT knop om over te gaan naar de volgende of

vorige muziekbestand.

5. Druk op de PLAY/PAUSE knop om een muziekbestand af te spelen of te

onderbreken.

6. Druk op de FM/CARD knop om te schakelen tussen MP3-spelerfunctie

en FM radio functie. Is het apparaat niet voorzien van een kaart, dan zal het automatisch opstarten in FM radiomodus.

Een kaart verwijderen:

 Schakel het toestel uit.  Druk op de SD-kaart om de kaart te verwijderen uit de lezer.

6.2 Kaartlezer

1. Sluit het toestel aan op uw computer met de meegeleverde USB-kabel.

2. Plaats een SD-kaart in de kaartlezer van de hoofdtelefoon.

3. Schakel de hoofdtelefoon in.

Uw computer zal nu de SD-kaart lezen. U kunt de kaart gebruiken als een willekeurige kaart en bestanden kopiëren, deleten of verplaatsen. Indien uw computer de SD-kaart niet leest, schakel de hoofdtelefoon uit en vervolgens weer in.

De hoofdtelefoon ontkoppelen:

 Activeer de "Safely remove hardware" functie op uw computer om de

kaartlezer te ontkoppelen. Indien u dit niet doet, dan kan de kaart beschadigd raken.

 Verwijder de USB-kabel uit de computer.

6.3 FM radio

 Schakel het toestel in.

Om over te schakelen naar FM radiomodus:

 Bij het inschakelen van het toestel zonder kaart, zal het automatisch

opstarten in FM radiomodus.

 Indien het toestel voorzien van een kaart, druk op de FM/CARD knop

om het toestel in te stellen in FM radiomodus (de voedingsaanduiding zal groen oplichten)

 Bij het beluisteren van muziek via een kaart, is het eveneens mogelijk

over te schakelen naar FM radiomodus met de FM-CARD knop.

Om te zoeken naar de beschikbare radiostations:

1. Druk op de PLAY/PAUSE knop gedurende 2 seconden. De LED-indicator

zal beginnen te knipperen.

2. Wanneer u naar een programma luistert gedurende meer dan 6

seconden of wanneer de LED-indicator stopt met knipperen, dan is het programma zoeken afgelopen. De hoofdtelefoon zal alle gevonden radiostations opslaan.

3. Druk op de PRE/NEXT knop om naar het vorige of volgende

radiostation te gaan.
