 This is not a medical device hence it should never be used

on humans or animals. Misuse may lead to severe injuries or

 Note that the camera head is made of metal and may cause

short-circuits. Never insert the camera in
energised/operational machines or equipment.

 Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the

last pages of this manual.

 All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety

reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device
is not covered by the warranty.

 Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the

device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.

 Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this

manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will
not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or
problems.

 Nor Velleman nv nor its dealers can be held responsible for

any damage (extraordinary, incidental or indirect) – of any

nature (financial, physical…) arising from the possession,

use or failure of this product.

This device is plug-and-play. Windows® XP users should not need
any driver. Users of Windows® 7 and above may need to be
logged in as administrator.

Connect the device to a powered USB port of your computer.

Allow the driver to install. Click Install.

Go to Control Panel  Devices and Printers. Re-install if a
yellow triangle appears next to the USB device.

Install the driver from the included CD-ROM. Open the folder and
click Telescope Driver.

The InstallShield wizard appears. Accept the prompts and follow
the installation procedure. Re-connect the camera to your
computer and allow the driver to recognize the device.

If you installed the driver, click Amcap to launch the software.

Click Devices and select the camera from the menu.

The camera will stream the video to your computer. Click
Options to customize the camera settings.

Click Capture to set a default video folder. Click Start Capture
and then OK to start recording. Click Stop Capture to stop
recording.

Navigate to the video folder and click the file. The video will be
played in your media player.

Press the snapshot button to save the image as a file.

The snapshot button may not work with the Amcap software. In
this case – or if you have not installed the driver – we suggest
you download a free video capture software from the web, e.g.
MyCam:

The MyCam control panel offers following buttons:

Still Image: Press to capture a still image. The captured

image appears on the screen (A).

Record/Stop: Start/stop the recording. The recording

appears on the screen (B).

Device: Select the CAMCOLI8 camera or any other

connected device.

Options: Specify a default folder and various quality

parameters.

To attach an accessory, slightly open the clip on the base, place
the ring over the camera head and release. Make sure the
accessory is firmly attached.

Use an accessory with extreme care and withdraw slowly from
the camera head.

After use, close the software, disconnect the camera from the
computer and clean carefully before storing it in a dry and clean
place.

Lees en begrijp deze handleiding en de veiligheidsinstructies vóór
ingebruikname.

Klasse III.

 Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf

8 jaar, door personen met fysieke, zintuiglijke of
verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder
toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe
zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn van de
risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich meebrengt.
Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen. De reiniging en
het onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet worden
uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan.

 Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor medische doeleinden en mag

nooit gebruikt worden op mensen of dieren. Verkeerd
gebruik kan ernstige letsels of zelfs de dood veroorzaken.

 De metalen kop van de camera kan in uitzonderlijke

gevallen kortsluiting veroorzaken. Steek de camera nooit in
een ingeschakeld toestel.

 Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie

achteraan deze handleiding.

 Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.

Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht
aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.

 Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De

garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.

 De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van

bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen

Dit toestel is plug-and-play. Voor gebruikers van Windows® XP is
geen driver vereist. Het is mogelijk dat gebruikers van Windows®
7 en hoger als administrator moeten inloggen.

Sluit het toestel aan op een USB-poort van de computer.

Laat de driver installeren. Klik op Install.

Ga naar Control Panel  Devices and Printers. Installeer
opnieuw wanneer een gele driehoekje naast het USB-toestel
verschijnt.

Installeer de driver vanaf de meegeleverde cd-rom. Open de map
en klik op Telescope Driver.

De InstallShield-wizard verschijnt. Accepteer de prompts op het
scherm en volg het installatieproces. Sluit de camera opnieuw
aan op de computer en laat de driver het toestel herkennen.

Als u de driver hebt geïnstalleerd, klik op Amcap om de software
te starten.

Klik op Devices en selecteer de camera in het menu.

De camera zal de video naar de computer streamen. Klik op
Options om de camera-instellingen te personaliseren.

Klik op Capture om een standaard videomap te creëren. Klik op
Start Capture en vervolgens op OK om de opname te starten.
Klik op Stop Capture om de opname te stoppen.

Navigeer naar de map met videobestanden en klik op het
bestand. De video wordt door de mediaspeler afgespeeld.

Druk op de snapshotknop om de foto als bestand op te slaan.

De snapshotknop is mogelijk niet compatibel met de Amcap­software. In dit geval - of als u de driver niet hebt geïnstalleerd ­is het raadzaam om een gratis software voor video-opnamen te
downloaden, bv. MyCam:

Het MyCam-controlepaneel is uitgerust met de volgende
knoppen:

Still Image: Druk om een foto te maken. De afbeelding

verschijnt op het scherm (A).

Record/Stop: De opname starten/stoppen. De opname

verschijnt op het scherm (B).

Device: Selecteer de CAMCOLI8-camera of een ander

aangesloten toestel.

Options: Creëer een standaardmap en diverse

parameters.

Om een opzetstuk te bevestigen, open voorzichtig de clip op de
basis, schuif de ring op de camerakop en laat los. Zorg ervoor
dat het opzetstuk goed vastzit.

Wees voorzichtig en verwijder langzaam van de camerakop.

Na gebruik, sluit de software, ontkoppel de camera van de
computer en reinig zorgvuldig alvorens in een droge en propere
plaats te bewaren.

Lire et comprendre ce mode d'emploi et toutes les consignes de
sécurité avant d'utiliser l'appareil.

Classe III.

 Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans

et plus et des personnes manquant d’expérience et de

connaissances ou dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales sont réduites, si elles ont été formées et
encadrées quant à l'utilisation de l'appareil d'une manière
sûre et connaissent les risques encourus. Ne pas laisser les
enfants jouer avec l'appareil. Le nettoyage et l'entretien ne
doivent pas être effectués par des enfants sans surveillance.

 Cette caméra ne convient pas à des fins médicales et ne

peut en aucun cas être utilisée sur des personnes ou des
animaux. Toute utilisation incorrecte peut causer des
blessures graves ou même la mort.

 La tête de la sonde métallique peut dans certains cas

exceptionnels provoquer des courts-circuits. Ne jamais
insérer la caméra dans une machine allumée.

 Se référer à la garantie de service et de qualité Velleman®

en fin de ce mode d'emploi.

 Toute modification est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité.

Les dommages occasionnés par des modifications par le
