1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.

The installation must be performed by a qualified technician.

DO NOT disassemble or open the cover(s). No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer to an
authorized dealer for service and/or spare parts.

DO NOT solely rely on the information from the backing system when driving backwards.
Always be aware of the surroundings of the vehicle before and during use of the system.

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the
dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

3. General Guidelines

Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.

Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing and dripping liquids.

Protect the device against extreme heat and dust.

Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device

• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.

• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.

• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the

warranty.

4. Installation

Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

• Choose an appropriate mounting spot at the rear window of your car. We recommend installing the

camera in the upper right corner of the rear window.

• Before fixing the camera, pre-fit the camera onto the installation spot. Bend the mounting bracket

according to the shape of the installation spot if necessary.

• Fix the camera onto the installation spot using the included screws and bolts or using the adhesive.

Geen van de toestellen mag geopend worden. De gebruiker mag geen onderdelen
vervangen. Bestel eventuele reserveonderdelen bij uw dealer.

Dit systeem is slechts een hulp bij het achteruitrijden. Hoewel betrouwbaar mag het nooit
blindelings vertrouwd worden. Wees voorzichtig en houd de dichte omgeving voor en
tijdens het gebruik in acht.

• De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en

uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
