KEY FUNCTION ASSIGNMENT:

: Switch on / Clear / Clear error
: Sign change key (changes the sign of the value displayed from

positive to negative or vice versa).

~ , , : Digit keys
: Function keys
: Memory plus (adds the value displayed in the independent

memory)

: Memory minus (subtracts the value displayed from

the independent memory)

: Recall memory : Clear memory

: Square root key
: Percent key
: Mark up / Mark down
: Fast "0" input (enters two zeros when pressed once)
: Shift right key (shifts the value displayed to the right thereby

deleting the last digit on the right side)

(CUT) $: Round down

LC DISPLAY:

M: Memory

- (minus): Negative value
"ERROR": The word "ERROR" appears in the display when the result
contains more digits than the display can show.

Press

to clear the "ERROR" message.

The value is retained in the memory (M).

The device switches off automatically if it is not operated
for approx. 8 minutes!

Changing the Battery

The device is provided with two sources of energy:

- solar energy, which is absorbed by the solar panel above the display.

- a 1.5 V battery (LR 1130).
If the quality of the image in the display begins to deteriorate, it is a sign

that the power supply is too low. Recharge the supply via the solar panel
above the display by exposing the front side of the device to sufficient light
(sun, bright lamp, something similar) or change the battery:

1. Carefully loosen the screw on the rear side of the device and remove
the cover.

2. Use a screwdriver, for example, to push the battery out of its holder.

Attention:

Remove the battery in the direction indicated (see Fig. 1)

and avoid damaging the components!

3. Insert the new battery in the opposite direction. Pay attention that
the positive pole "⊕" of the battery points up!

4. Fix the cover in place on the rear side of the device.
(Attention:

Do not overtighten the screw!).

WYŚWIETLACZ LCD:

M (Memory): pamięć

- (Minus): wartość ujemna

“ERROR“: Na wyświetlaczu pojawia się “ERROR”, jeśli wynik zawiera
więcej cyfr niż można przedstawić na wyświetlaczu.

W celu skasowania wskazania “ERROR” należy nacisnąć

Wartość w pamięci (M) pozostaje zachowana.

Urządzenie wyłącza się automatycznie po ok. 8 min. bez
naciśnięcia żadnego przycisku.

Wymiana baterii

Urządzenie korzysta z dwóch źródeł energii:

- energii słonecznej, która pobierana jest przez panel solarny nad wyświe

tlaczem.

- baterii 1.5 V (LR 1130)

Jeżeli wskazanie na wyświetlaczu zaczyna zanikać, oznacza to niedo
stateczne zasilanie energią elektryczną. Należy ponownie przywrócić
zasilanie za pośrednictwem panelu solarnego nad wyświetlaczem zapew
niając wystarczające naświetlenie przedniej strony urządzenia (słońce,
silna lampa itp.) lub wymieniając baterię:

5. Ostrożnie odkręcić śrubę na tylnej ścianie urządzenia i zdjąć pokrywę.

6. Używając np. wkrętaka wysunąć baterię z jej uchwytu. Uwaga:
Baterię należy usuwać we wskazanym kierunku (patrz rys. 1), unika
jąc uszkodzenia innych elementów.

7. Ponownie wprowadzić nową baterię w przeciwnym kierunku.
Zwrócić przy tym uwagę na to, aby biegun dodatni „⊕“ baterii skiero
wany był do góry.

8. Ponownie zamocować pokrywę na tylnej ścianie urządzenia.
(Uwaga:

Nie przekręcić śruby!).
