Safety

Read and understand all safety warnings before usi ng the tool.
Ensure that no part of any human, animal or clot hing is placed in/near the area where
nails are fi red out of the gu n, regardles s of whether you think the gun i s empty or loaded with nails.
Avoid danger ous envi ronments. Do not operate power t ools in expl osive atmosp heres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Pow er tools cr eate sparks which may ignite dust or fumes.
Keep the tool and all compo nents away from children.
Keep children and byst anders away while operating power tools.
Before each use, check the safety contact pin and firing me chanisms are operating correctly.
Keep the work ar ea clean and w ell lit
Keep the tool pointed away fr om yourself and others at al l times. Keep hands and b ody parts
away fr om moving parts a nd use safety guards.
Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the tool or its oper ation to use the tool.
Use safety equipment. A lway s wear eye and ear protection. Safety equipment su ch as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes and hard hat should be used in appropriate condit ions.
Power tool plugs must match the power outl ets. Never modify the pl ug in any way . Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (gr ounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and m atching outlets will reduce t he risk of electric shock.
When operating power tools outdoors, use only ext ension cords suitable f or outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse t he power cor d. Never use the power cord for carrying, pul ling or unpl ugging the power tool.
Disconnect power from the tool before unplugging, when not in use, before servicing, making adjustment s, storing, or when changing accessories such as nails, etc.
Do not keep th e trigger or safety depressed whilst loading fasteners – the unintentional firi ng of a fastener could cause serious personal inj ury.
Do not atte mpt to fir e fasteners i f the nails/staples are jammed. This will cause damage to t he driver blade or other par ts.
Do not atte mpt to drive fasteners into hard surface such as rock, concrete, masonry, bricks or steel. Personal injury or damage t o the power tool may r esult.
Do not drive fasteners close to the edge of the work piece.
Do not drive fasteners on top of other fasteners.
Only use par ts and accessories r ecommended by manufact urer.
Do not modify any part of the tool or its safety mechanisms.
Battery and Charging Safety
Use only with the batteries and batt ery charger specified by the manufacturer .
Ensure the p ower swi tch is in the OFF positi on before inser ting the batt ery pack.

Do not open the battery – danger of short-circuiting.
Do not atte mpt to destroy or disass emble battery pack or remove any of its compon ents.
Do not touch the battery terminals with metal objects and/or body parts as short-circuit and/or
personal injury may result.
Explosion hazard – pr otect the bat tery against heat; f or example, direct sunl ight and fi re.
Explosion hazard – do not short-circuit the battery.
Poison hazar d – battery leakage (l iquid eject ion). Under abusive conditi ons, liqui d may be
ejected from the battery – avoid contact. If contact accidental ly occurs, f lush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, flush with cl ean water for at least 10 minutes, then seek imme diate medical attention. Liquid ejected from the batt ery may cause irritation or burns.
Care when charging. Make sure cord for the battery charger is locat ed so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or otherwise subjected to dam age or stress. D o not operate the battery charger if it has a damaged c ord or plug.
Battery recycling and disposi ng. All batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly (see section on E nvironme nt).
Dispose of non-serviceable batteries in an environmentally responsible ma nner.
Servicing
Have your power tool ser viced by a qualified repair person using only identi cal replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of t he power tool is maintained.
Intended Use
The machine i s intended for fastening cardboar d, insulating material, fabric, foil s, leather and similar material s to wood or materials similar to w ood. The machi ne is not sui table for the attachment of wall anchors or any f astener not specified.
