Intended Use

This axial grinder is a hand y, compressed air-powered device for the DIY and automotive/tr uck areas. It is suitable for t he grinding and planning of solid surfaces.
Only use this machine according to its intended use! Any use extendi ng beyond this does not constitute intended use. The user, not the manufacturer , is liable for resulting damages or injuries of any kind.
Our equipment is not intended for commerc ial or industrial use. If t his device is used in the context of commercial or industrial use, the warranty is void.
When using tools, som e safety precautions must be observed to prevent inj uries and damages. Therefore, read through this operating manual/safety instructions caref ully. Store them in a safe place so that the information is available to you at al l times. If you should hand the appliance on to other people, please give these operating/safety instructions to them as well. W e will not assume any liabilities for accidents or damages which do arise due to failure to observe these safety instructions.

Safety Instructions

Keep these operating instructions ready at hand. You can then read up on import ant information and instructions, if necessary.
Never make use of a defect ive or non-functioning device. Contact an aut horised service centre or have the device inspected by a qualified skilled technician.
Disconnect t he axial g rinder from the compressor before you exchange the acc essories or an attachment. Disconnect t he axial g rinder when not using the compressor.
Always work with the neces sary levels of care. Do not apply unnecessary force under any circumstances. While grinding, be careful of flying s parks. Glowing parts that are blown upward can easily ignite flammable
materials and liquids . Always wear appropriate protective clothing when performing all works/pr ojects with the axial grinder s uch
as protective gloves, work boots, protective goggles, dust masks, ear pr otectors, etc. Persons in the immediate working e nvironment should take the same protective measures.
Only us e sui table grinding inserts. Make sure that the air pressure’s connectio n is not set at too high a level. T ake into account the possible
impact of anything in the vicinity. Make sure t hat the workplace is well-lit. Always disconnect the device from the compressed air supply before any repair or servic ing work. Improper repairs can result in injuries. Never exceed the permissible operating pressure. Excessive pressure can damage the device and can lead
to i njuries. Keep pneumatic tools away from children. This device can lead to injuries if it is not used as intended. Only connect t he device to the pneumatic air supply via a quick-action coupling so it can be quickly
disconnected in the event of danger.

Ensure that your hair does not get caught in the rotat ing tool. Wear a hair net for your saf ety. Wear close-fitting clothing. Wide, loose clothing c an get caught in the rotating t ool and can lead to injuries. Keep your workplace clean and in good order. Untidi ness in the workplace incr eases the risk of accidents. New grinding tools m ust be run-in by running it idle f or half a minute. Never slow down the grinder by pressing on it. At low rotational speeds, the lateral pressure can dam age the
grinder.

General Instructions

The recommended working pressure level is 6.2 bar. ATTENTION! A level of working pressure that is too low leads to reduced performance, a level of working
pressure that is too high shortens the service life. Wipe the tool with a dr y clot h. Never clean it with w ater or solvents . Solvents damage the seals. Water leads
to corros ion. Always store the axial grinder in a dry and clean place. In case of improper use and lack of maintenance, the legal warranty is void.

Initial Start-Up

1. Fill three to four drops of pneumatic oil into the compressed air supply.
2. Screw the couplings and plugs that are included with the delivery into the compressed air supply and seal it with Teflon tape.
3. Select the grips D that are suitable for t he grinder F. The shaft of grinder F must fit into the grips D.
4. First, turn the clamping nut E loosely onto the thread of the grips bearing.
5. Slide the grinder Fi n the grips D to a maximum dist ance of 1 cm and tig hte n the cla mping nut with a spanner. Hold the spindle in plac e with a spanner. The clamping n ut must be tig htened to t he extent that the grinder is held in place.

Required Air Quality/Air Supply

Air quality should be c leaned; air supply should be coated in oil via a maintenance unit with filter pressure reducers and inline oiler.

Setting Values for Operation

Change the operating pressure (flow pressure) on the pressure reducer to 6.2 bar.

Compressed Air Supply

We recommend the use of an oil-fog lubricator in the compressed air line. If oil-fog lubricators (attached) are not used, three to five drops of pneumatic oil must be fed into the compressed-air supply of the devic e before any time it is used. Subsequent lubric ation is needed after three operating hours at the latest. More fr equently if the ambient air is dusty and t he tool is being used constantly.
The service life is shortened if a maintenanc e unit with a condensate drainage is not used. The humidity in the compressed air would lead t o corrosion in the device.

Decommissioning

After use, it is absolutely necessary to disconnect the compressed air hose. Accidental activation can lead to injuries
