The MILAN M15B is compact powered
15" bandpass subwoofer that extends
the frequency range and increases the
overall loudness of any MILAN system.
The bandpass design produces high
bass energy within the pass band, which
is tuned to reinforce bass instrument
frequencies, and the steep cut-o slopes
ensure an e ective acoustic transition
to MILAN full-range loudspeakers.

The onboard ampli er provides over
2,200 watts of maximum output power
with plenty of headroom to power the
long-excursion bass driver, allowing
short term transients to be reproduced
with wide dynamic range. Two discrete
balanced XLR inputs plus corresponding
thru connections on balanced male
XLR allow a stereo system comprising
two MILAN full-range loudspeakers to
be operated with only one subwoofer
if required, the sub-bass frequencies being ltered and summed to the
subwoofer drive unit. A switchable 6 dB boost is available at a centre frequency
between 40 Hz and 90 Hz, while an overall level control allows the sub-bass
frequencies to be balanced with the system. A polarity switch is provided for
optimum subwoofer integration. Rear panel LEDs indicate power on, signal
present, and the onset of limiting action.
The birch plywood cabinet is equipped with heavy duty wheels to aid
handling and transportation, while the pole mount socket allows MILAN
full range loudspeakers to be mounted on top of the subwoofer with a
minimal footprint.

The system shall be of the bandpass type consisting of one 15" (381 mm) low frequency loudspeaker together with an integrated Class-D ampli er.
Performance speci cations of a typical production unit shall meet or exceed the following: Frequency response, measured with swept sine
wave input, shall be at within ±3 dB from 45 Hz to 100 Hz, and within -10 dB from 35 Hz to 150 Hz. Maximum SPL (peak) measured with music
program input in half space shall be 134 dB.
Dimensions: 495 x 530 x 480 mm (19.5 x 20.9 x 18.9"). Net weight: 37 kg (81.4 lbs). The loudspeaker system shall be the Turbosound MILAN
M15B. No other loudspeaker shall be acceptable unless submitted data from an independent test laboratory verify that the above combined
