Turbosmart recommends that your Blow Off Valve (BOV) and Adaptor kit is fitted by an appropriately qualified technician.

No te: The Soarer TT pipework adaptor kit readily accepts the following Turbosmart BOVs:

To install a Dual Port or Plumb Back BOV, fabrication will be required to connect the plumb-back fitting to the intake.

FIT TING YOUR SOARER TWIN TURBO BOV ADAPTOR

Note: Please thoroughly read and understand both these instructions and the fitting instructions supplied with your
BOV before commencing this installation.

Step 1. Locate the factory BOV and factory intercooler
pipe.

Step 2. Disconnect the two vacuum/boost lines on the
factory BOV.

Step 3. Remove the factory vacuum/boost line by
disconnecting it from the metal tube below the factory
BOV.

Step 4. Undo the hose clamp on the factory BOV
return pipe using an 8mm socket. Then disconnect the
return pipe from the BOV.

Step 5. Undo the hose clamp on the other end of the
return hose using an 8mm socket.

Step 6. Remove the return hose.

Step 7. Remove the bolt on the underside of the

factory BOV with a 10mm socket.

Step 8. Remove the bolt securing the factory BOV to
the pipe flange with a 12mm socket.

Step 9. Remove the factory BOV.

Step 10. Take the O ring from the factory BOV and fit

it over the Soarer BOV blank supplied. Install the blank
over the pipe flange and secure it with the original
factory nut.

Step 11. Block off the factory return hose with the
29mm blanking plug supplied. Use the supplied 40mm
hose clamp to secure the plug. Then tighten, using a
7mm socket.

Step 12. Replace the factory return pipe on its
original fitting and secure it with a 40mm hose clamp
supplied. Tighten the clamp with a 7mm socket.

Step 13. Connect the pre-assembled silicon hose
assembly as shown in the diagram below:

Step 14. Install one end of the Silicon hose assembly
supplied onto the metal tube and secure with the 6mm
spring clamp supplied.

Step 15. Undo the hose clamp on the top of the
factory intercooler pipe, using a 10mm socket.

Step 16. Undo the hose clamp on the bottom of the
factory intercooler pipe, using a 10mm socket.

Step 17. Remove the factory intercooler pipe.

Important! You may need to increase the

clearance between the Soarer TT adaptor and car
battery to accommodate for the BOV. To increase
the clearance you may have to adjust or replace the
car battery with a smaller unit.

Step 18. Fit the Silicon hose couplers over the Soarer

Adaptor. Note that the hose couplers are of different
diameters to suit the larger and smaller ends of the
adaptor. Install your Turbosmart BOV onto the
adaptor by following the instructions included with the
BOV.

Step 19. Fit the adaptor between the intercooler and
the throttle body. Using two of the 90mm hose clamps
supplied, secure the Silicon hose coupler onto the
Soarer adaptor and the throttle body.

Step 20. Using two of the 70mm hose clamps
supplied, secure the Silicon hose coupler onto the
Soarer Adaptor and the intercooler pipe.

Step 21. Connect the remaining end of the Silicon hose assembly onto the BOV and secure it with the 5mm hose spring
clamp supplied.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

The following points should be checked if you find that your engine is dipping below normal idle, stalling or if the BOV is functioning poorly. Please
note the following checks will cure 99% of problems experienced with fitting your BOV.

- Check that the O-ring on the base of the BOV is fitted correctly and is in good condition.

- Ensure that the BOV grub screws and lock-nuts are tightened on the adaptor.

- Ensure all hose couplers are fitted properly over the Soarer Adaptor and the throttle body/intercooler.

- Ensure all 90mm hose clamps are tightened over the two Silicon hose couplers.

- Ensure the Soarer BOV blank is installed with factory O-ring fitted and secured by the factory nut.

- Ensure the plumb-back hose is blanked off with the blanking plug and secured with the 40mm hose clamp supplied.

- Ensure spring clamps are secured on silicon hoses and fittings.

- Re-adjust the setting of your BOV. Please refer to your BOV fitting instructions for further information.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Turbosmart is a c ompan y built on Cus tomer Satisfac tion and Service. That i s why all of our product s go through regimented test procedures before they are pac kaged
and shipped. Turbosmart stands behind its produc ts for one full year after purchase. Terms of Warranty, Service and Returns are as fol lows:

Limited Warranty: Turbosmart warrants i ts products to be free from defects in material and workmanshi p under normal u se and if properly inst alled for a period of one
year from date of purchas e. If found to be defect iv e, it wi ll be replac ed or repaired if returned prepaid along with proof of date of purchase. This shal l constitute the sole
remedy of the purchaser and the sole liabi lity of Turbosmart to the extent permitted by law, the foregoi ng i s ex clus ive and in lieu of al l other warranties or
representati ons whether expressed or implied, includi ng any impl ied warranty of merchantabi lity or fitness. In no event shall Turbosmart be l iable for speci al or
consequentia l damages . This warranty is onl y val id on products purchased from Turbosmart Authorized Dealers.

Servi ce: After the warranty period has expired, repair servi ce is charged based on a minimum and max imum charge rate. (Contact Cust omer Service for current rate).

Returns: When returni ng a Turbosm art product for repair, it must be ac companied by a complet ed Customer Warranty Form and RMA number. To acces s this form

you with help in any way we c an. The purpose of t his agreement is to avoid any problems or hard feel ing s.

We sometimes make mi stakes , as do our dealers, di stributors and s uppl iers. Even c ustomers can s ometimes order the wrong parts. Do not use, modify, in stall, tri al
ass emble, nick, drop, scratch or adjust any part until you first check for any damage. Damage mus t be reported immedi atel y. NO EXCEPTIONS. If there are any
components mis sing please contac t your authoriz ed resel ler immediately upon receipt of your shipment. Miss ing components mus t be reported wi thin five (5)
busines s day s of rec eipt. Parts returned for any reason MUST B E IN RES ALA BLE CONDITION. It is YOUR responsibilit y, “THE CUSTOMER” to carefull y pac kage any
returns to av oid sh ipp ing damage. Insurance is high ly recommended. Credit cannot be i ssued for damaged goods .

Turbosmart warranties the quality of the product s it designs and manuf actures to be free of defects in material and work mans hip. This limit ed warranty is ext ended
only to the origi nal purc haser and may not be transferred or ass igned. This l im ited warranty applies t o any product, whi ch after careful inspe ction by Turbosmart, after
receipt of the produc t from our authorized reseller, is found t o have a defect in either material or workmansh ip. An y modifi cations to t he product will v oid any and all
warranties and will not be exchanged. Before instal lat ion, che ck new car warranty. Turbosmart is not res pons ible for void ing any original manufactures warranty.

All warranty claims must be returned to the nearest Turbosmart Office, you must return the product and sa les receipt, at your own expense, accompanied by the
Customer Warranty Form stating the reason f or the cl aim. Proof of purchase must be prov ided with any warranty claim and wi ll be verified with the authorized resel ler
from whic h the product was purchased.

If al l the above procedures are followed, and the product is found to be defec ti ve in either workmanship or material, Turbosmart shall either repair or repl ace the
product, at its sole discretion, and sole cost. This limi ted warranty does not cov er or apply to any personal injury, labor charges or any other inc idental costs or
damages caused by t he defective product. The indiv idua l purchaser ac knowledges and agrees that the di sc la imer of any liability for personal inj ury is a material term
for this agreement and the individual purchaser agrees to indemnif y Turbosmart and to hold Turbosmart harmless f or any c laim related to the item of t he equipment
purchas ed. Under no circumstances wi ll Turbosmart be li able for any damages or expenses by reason of us e or s ale of any s uch equipment.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EX PRESS WARRANTY, WHICH AP PLIE S TO TURBOSMART PRODUCT AS E XPRESSLY GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER
WARRANTY EXPRE SS ED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THAT OF MERCHANTABILITY. ANY I MPLIED W ARRANTY INCLUDING THAT OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICCULAR PURPOSE IS HEREB Y LIMITED BY THE SAM E TERMS AND TIME LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED EXPRESS
WARRANTY AND OTHERWISE EXCLUDED. EXCEPT FOR THOSE OBLIGATIONS AS SUMED HEREIN, TURBOSMART ASSUMES NO OTHER OBLIGATIONS IN
CONNECTION WITH THE SAL E OF ITS PRODUCTS.
IN THE EVENT THAT THE INDIVIUDAL PURCHA SER DOES NOT AGREE WITH THIS AGREEMENT THE BUY ER MAY PROMPTLY RETURN THIS PRODUCT, IN A
NEW AND UN-USED CONDITION, WITH A DATED PROOF OF PURCHAS E, TO THE PLACE OF PURCHASE WITHIN SEV EN (7) DAY S FROM THE DATE OF
PURCHASE FOR A FULL REFUND. THE INSTALLATION OF THIS PRODUCT INDICATES THAT THE INDIVIDUAL PURCHASER HA S RE AD AND UNDERSTOOD THIS
AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTS ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
