Gebrauchs anweisung
Vor Inbetriebnahme unbedingt Gebrauchsanweisung und „Wichtige
Hinweise“ beachten! Der
Fahrzeughalter ist dafür verantwortlich, dass die Bedienung des Gerätes ordnungsgemäß erfolgen kann.

Inbetriebnahme
Vor dem Einschalten unbedingt darauf achten, dass die
Absicherung der Stromversorgung des Camp ingplatzes
für 980 W (230 V) ausreicht
(mindestens 4,2 A).
Um eine Überhitzung
des Stromeinspei sungskabels für den Caravan (Mindestquerschnitt 3 x 2,5 mm²)
zu vermeiden, muss die
Kabeltrommel vollständig
abgewickelt werden.
Zum Einschalten des Klimagerätes den Schalter am Bedienteil auf „b” zur Kühlung
mit niedriger Gebläsegeschwindigkeit oder auf „c” zur
Kühlung mit hoher Gebläsegeschwindigkeit stellen.
Stellung „c” (hohe Gebläseleistung) dient zur schnellen
Abkühlung der Raumtemperatur, Stellung „b” (niedrige
Gebläseleistung) eignet sich
besonders zur Raumentfeuchtung und für die Nacht,
da das Gebläse langsamer
und somit besonders leise
läuft.
Beim Ein- bzw. Um-
schalten des Gerätes
läuft das Gebläse sofort an
und der Kompressor wird
automatisch ca. 3 Minuten
später zugeschaltet.

Am Bedienteil ausschalten (a).
Hinweise zur
Benutzung von
Klimageräten
– Das Klimagerät TrumaSaphir comfort BT ist für
minimale Stromaufnahme
ausgelegt. Prüfen Sie vor
Inbetriebnahme dennoch,
ob der Campingplatz ausreichend abgesichert ist (min.
4,2 A).
– Stellen Sie Ihr Fahrzeug
möglichst im Schatten ab.
– Das Abdunkeln mit Jalousien und/oder ein Überdach
reduziert die Wärmeeinstrahlung.
– Reinigen Sie Ihr Dach
regelmäßig (verschmutzte
Dächer heizen sich stärker
auf).
– Lüften Sie Ihr Fahrzeug vor
dem Betrieb des Gerätes, um
die angestaute Warmluft aus
dem Fahrzeug zu bringen.
– Achten Sie bei der Anbringung von Schürzen oder
Ähnlichem auf ausreichende
Öffnungen zur Ableitung der
Versorgungsluft unter dem
Fahrzeug.
– Um ein gesundes Raumklima zu erhalten, sollte der
Unterschied zwischen Innenund Außentemperatur nicht
zu groß gewählt werden.
Während des Betriebes wird
die umgewälzte Luft ge reinigt
und getrocknet. Durch die
Trocknung der schwülfeuchten Luft wird auch bei
geringen Temperaturunterschieden ein angenehmes
Raumklima erzeugt.
– Halten Sie während des
Kühlbetriebes alle Türen und
Fenster geschlossen.
Wichtige Hinweise
Reparaturen dürfen nur
vom Fach mann durch-
geführt werden!
Vor dem Verschrotten des
Gerätes unbedingt Öl und
Kältemittel fachgerecht entfernen und entsorgen lassen.
1. Zur Vermeidung von Transportschäden darf das Gerät
nur nach Rücksprache mit
dem Truma-Service (siehe
Seite 22) versandt werden.
2. Vor dem Öffnen des Gehäuses muss die Spannung
allpolig freigeschaltet
werden.
3. Jede Veränderung am
Gerät oder die Verwendung
von Ersatzteilen und funktionswichtigen Zubehörteilen,
die keine Original-Truma-Teile
sind, sowie das Nichteinhalten
der Einbau- und Gebrauchs anweisung führt zum Erlöschen
der Garantie sowie zum
Ausschluss von Haf tungsansprüchen.
4. Der Kältekreislauf enthält
das Kältemittel R 407C und
darf nur vom Fachmann
geöffnet werden.
5. Der Kaltluftaustritt sowie
die Umluftansaugung dürfen
keinesfalls behindert werden.
Bitte beachten Sie dies, um
eine einwandfreie Funktion
Ihres Gerätes zu gewährleisten.
6. Die Öffnungen unter dem
Fahrzeugboden müssen von
Schmutz und Schneematsch
freigehalten werden.
7. Wird der Fahrzeugboden
mit Unterbodenschutz
versehen, müssen alle unter
dem Wagen befindlichen Öffnungen abgedeckt werden,
damit der entstehende Spritznebel nicht ins Gerät gelangt
und zu Funktionsstörungen
führt. Nach Abschluss der Arbeiten Abdeckungen wieder
entfernen.
8. Um Beschädigungen am
Kompressor zu vermeiden,
dürfen beim Betrieb des Gerätes während der Fahrt (z.B.
mit Generator oder Spannungswandler) keine Steigungen oder Gefälle von mehr
als 8% befahren werden.
9. Keinen längeren Kühlbetrieb in Schräglage durchführen, da gegebenenfalls das
entstehende Kondenswasser
nicht ablaufen kann und im
un güns tigen Fall ins Fahrzeug
gelangt.
Wartung
An der Geräte-Vorderseite befinden sich je ein Flusenfilter
(n) und ein Partikelfilter (p) zur
Reinigung der Raumluft.

Der Flusenfilter (n) muss in
regelmäßigen Abständen,
mindestens jedoch 2 x im
Jahr, gereinigt und bei Bedarf
gewechselt werden (Art.-Nr.
40090-58200).
Den Partikelfilter (p) empfehlen wir jährlich zum Beginn
der Saison zu wechseln
(Art.-Nr. 40090-58100).
Zum Wechseln der Filter, den
Flusenfilter (n) an der oberen
Kante an den Aussparungen
nach vorne ziehen und nach
oben herausnehmen.
Partikelfilter nach vorne
herausnehmen.
Einbaulage beachten!
Die aufgedruckten Pfeile müssen zum Geräte-Inneren zeigen und symbolisieren
die Strömungsrichtung der
Umluft. Das Gerät niemals
ohne Filter betreiben. Ohne
Filter kann der Verdampfer
verschmutzen, was wiederum die Leistung des Gerätes
beeinträchtigt!
Unter dem Fahrzeugboden
befindet sich der Kondenswasserablauf. Damit das
Kondenswasser frei ablaufen kann, ist regelmäßig zu
prüfen, ob der Ablauf frei
von Schmutz, Laub oder
Ähnlichem ist. Wird dies
nicht beachtet, kann Kondenswasser ins Fahrzeug
gelangen!

Fehlersuche
Bei einer Störung wenden Sie
sich bitte grundsätzlich an
den Truma-Service (siehe
Seite 22).
Bevor Sie den Kundendienst
anrufen, überprüfen Sie bitte:
1. Ist die WohnwagenZuleitung 230 V korrekt
angeschlossen und sind die
Sicherungen und der
Schutzschalter in Ordnung?
2. Ist der Flusenfilter am Gerät oder die Luftansaugung
zum Staukasten, in dem das
Gerät eingebaut ist, frei?
3. Sitzen die Kaltluftrohre
exakt in den Kaltluftstutzen
des Gerätes?
4. Sind die Öffnungen für
die Versorgungsluft im Fahrzeugboden frei von Schmutz,
Laub oder Ähnlichem?

Truma-Hersteller Garantieerklärung
1. Garantiefall
Der Hersteller gewährt Garantie für Mängel des Gerätes,
die auf Material- oder Fertigungsfehler zurückzuführen
sind. Daneben bestehen die
gesetzlichen Ge währ leistungsansprüche gegen den
Verkäufer fort.
Der Garantieanspruch
besteht nicht:
– für Verschleißteile und bei
natürlicher Abnutzung,
– infolge Verwendung von
Nicht-Original-Truma-Teilen
in den Geräten,
– infolge Nichteinhaltung
der Truma-Einbau- und
Gebrauchsanweisungen,
– infolge unsachgemäßer
Behandlung,
– infolge unsachgemäßer,
nicht von Truma veranlasster Transportverpackung.
2. Umfang der Garantie
Die Garantie gilt für Mängel
im Sinne von Ziffer 1, die innerhalb von 24 Monaten seit
Abschluss des Kaufvertrages
zwischen dem Verkäufer
und dem Endverbraucher
eintreten. Der Hersteller
wird solche Mängel durch
Nacherfüllung beseitigen,
das heißt nach seiner Wahl
durch Nachbesserung oder
Ersatzlieferung. Leistet der
Hersteller Garantie, beginnt
die Garantiefrist hinsichtlich
der reparierten oder ausgetauschten Teile nicht von
neuem, sondern die alte Frist
läuft weiter. Weitergehende
Ansprüche, insbesondere
Schadensersatzansprüche
des Käufers oder Dritter
sind ausgeschlossen. Die
Vorschriften des Produkthaftungsge setzes bleiben
unbe rührt.
Zusätzliche Kosten aufgrund
erschwerter Aus- und Einbaubedingungen des Gerätes
(z.B. Demontage von Möbeloder Karosserieteilen) können
nicht als Garantielei stung
anerkannt werden.
3. Geltendmachung des
Garantiefalles
Die Anschrift des Herstellers
lautet: Truma Gerätetechnik
GmbH & Co. KG, Wernhervon-Braun-Straße 12,

Deutschland ist bei Störungen grundsätzlich die TrumaServicezentrale zu benachrichtigen; in anderen Ländern
stehen die jeweiligen Servicepartner (siehe Adressenverzeichnis) zur Verfügung.
Beanstandungen sind näher
zu bezeichnen. Ferner ist die
ordnungsgemäß ausgefüllte
Garantie-Urkunde vorzulegen
oder die Fabriknummer des
Gerätes sowie das Kaufdatum
anzugeben.
Zur Vermeidung von Transportschäden darf das Gerät
nur nach Rücksprache mit
der Truma-Service-Zentrale
Deutschland oder dem jeweiligen Service-Partner in
anderen Ländern versandt
werden. Andernfalls trägt das
Risiko für evtl. entstehende
Transportschäden der
Versender.
Die Einsendung hat im Normalfall mit dem bei Truma
erhältlichen Spezial-Versandkarton per Speditions-Fracht
zu erfolgen. Im Garantiefall
übernimmt das Werk die
Kos ten der Einsendung und
Rücksendung. Liegt kein
Garantiefall vor, gibt der Hersteller dem Kunden Bescheid
und nennt die vom Hersteller
nicht zu übernehmenden
Reparatur kosten; in diesem
Fall gehen auch die Versandkosten zu Lasten des Kunden.
Die Kosten der Inanspruchnahme des Truma-Werkskundendienstes zur Beseitigung
eines unter die Garantie fallenden Mangels – insbesondere Transport-, Wege-,
Arbeits- und Materialkosten –
trägt der Hersteller, soweit
der Kundendienst innerhalb
von Deutschland eingesetzt
wird. Kundendiensteinsätze
in anderen Ländern sind nicht
von der Garantie gedeckt.

Before starting to use the
device, it is essential that
the Operating Instructions
and „Important Instructions“ be read carefully!
The vehicle owner is responsible for ensuring that the
device can be operated in the
proper manner.

Taking into operation
Before switching on, it is essential to make sure that the
fuse system for the power
supply at the camp site is
sufficient for 980 W (230 V)
(at least 4.2 A).
In order to prevent the
power cable for the
caravan from overheating
(minimum cross-section
3 x 2.5 mm²) the cable drum
must be fully unwound.
To switch on the air conditioner move control panel
switch to „b” for cooling at
slow fan speed or „c” for
cooling at fast fan speed.
Position „c” (high fan power)
cools the room temperature
down rapidly, and position „b”
(low fan power) is particularly
suitable for dehumidification
and during the night, since
the fan runs slowly and therefore extremely quietly.
When the unit is swit-
ched on or over, the fan
starts immediately and the
compressor activates automatically 3 minutes later.

Notes for the use
of air-conditioners
– The Truma-Saphir comfort IR
is designed for minimal
current consumption. Nevertheless, you should check
before taking the system into
operation whether the camping site has adequate fuses
(minimum 4.2 A).
– As far as possible, park
your vehicle in the shade.
– Darkening the interior with
window blinds and/or a roof
awning will reduce the penetration of radiant heat.
– Clean the roof of the vehicle regularly (dirty roofs heat
up more readily).
– Before operating the device, ventilate your vehicle,
in order to allow the hot air
which builds up inside to
escape.
– When aprons or the like are
being fitted, please ensure
that adequate openings are
present beneath the vehicle
for incoming and outgoing
air.
– To create a healthy environment on the inside of the
vehicle, the difference between the inside and outside
temperatures should not be
selected as too great. During
operation the circulated air
will be purified and dried.
Due to the drying of the
moist, humid air, a pleasant
environment will be created
inside even with slight
temperature differences.
– Keep the doors and windows closed while the cooling system is in operation.
Important
instructions
Repairs may only be
carried out by properly
qualified professionals!
Remove and dispose of oil
and refrigerant properly
before scrapping the equipment.
1. To avoid damage during
transport, the device must
only be dispatched after
discussion with the Truma
Service (see page 22).
2. The voltage must be disconnected at all poles before
the housing is opened.
3. Any modification to the
device, or the use of spare
parts and functionally-important accessories which are
not original Truma components, or failure to respect the
Installation and Operating
Instructions, will lead to the
cancellation of the guarantee
and to the ex clusion of claims
for liability.
4. The cooling circuit contains
the cooling agent R 407C,
and may only be opened by a
properly qualified person.
5. The cool air outflow and
the ambient air suction intake
must not on any account be
obstructed. Please bear this
in mind in order to ensure the
trouble-free operation of your
device.
6. The apertures beneath the
vehicle floor must be kept
free of dirt and snow slush.
7. If the floor of the vehicle
is provided with underfloor
protection, all the apertures
beneath the vehicle must be
covered in order to prevent
the spray created from penetrating the device and causing
malfunctions. Once the work
has been completed the covers
can be removed again.
8. In order to avoid damage
to the compressor, when the
device is in operation during
transit (for example, with the
generator or voltage transformer working), do not attempt
uphill or downhill gradients of
more than 8%.
9. Do not allow cooling operation to run for extended
periods in a tilted position,
since the condensation water
which forms may not be able
to run off, and in the worst
scenario might penetrate into
the vehicle.
Maintenance
Located on the front side of
the unit is a fluff filter (n) and
a particle filter (p) for cleaning
the air in the room.

The fluff filter (n) must be
cleaned at regular intervals,
at least twice a year, and replaced if necessary (Part no.
40090-58200).
We recommend that the
particle filter (p) be replaced
annually at the start of the
season (Part no. 40090-
58100).
In order to change the filters,
pull fluff filter (n) forward at
recesses at top edge and
remove from above. Remove
particle filter towards the
front.
Ensure the installation
position is correct. The
arrows imprinted on the unit
must point towards the inside
of the device, and symbolise
the direction of flow of the
circulating air. The device
must never be operated
without the filter. Without
a filter the evaporator will
become dirty, which in turn
will impair the performance
of the device.
The condensation water drain
is located beneath the floor
of the vehicle. In order to
allow the condensation to
drain away freely, check whether the drain is free of dirt,
leaves and the like at regular
intervals. If this is not done,
there is a risk of condensation water penetrating
into the vehicle.

1. Is the 230 V mobile home
supply properly connected,
and are the fuses and
protective switch in good
order?
2. Are the fluff filter on the
unit and the air intake to the
stowage box in which the
device is installed free?
3. Do the cold air pipes fit
exactly into the cold air
connections of the unit?
4. Are the air intake openings
in the floor of the vehicle free
from dirt, leaves and the like?

Manufacturer’s
terms of warranty
1. Case of warranty
The manufacturer grants a
warranty for malfunctions
in the appliance which are
based on material or production faults. In addition to this,
the statutory warranty claims
against the seller remain
valid.
A claim under warranty shall
not pertain:
– Tor parts subject to wear
and in cases of natural
wear and tear,
– As a consequence of the
use of non-original Truma
components in the equipment,
– As a consequence of failure
to respect Truma instructions for installation and
use,
– As a consequence of
improper handling,
– As a consequence of
improper transport packing, not arranged by
Truma.
2. Scope of warranty
The warranty is valid for
malfunctions as stated under
item 1, which occur within
24 months after conclusion
of the purchase agreement
between the seller and the
final consumer. The manufacturers will make good
such defects by subsequent
fulfilment, i.e. at their discretion either by repair or
replacement. In the event of
manufacturers providing service under warranty, the term
of the warranty shall not recommence anew with regard
to the repaired or replaced
parts; rather, the old warranty
period shall continue to run.
More extensive claims, in
particular claims for compensatory damages by purchasers or third parties, shall be
excluded. This does not affect
the rules of the product liability law.
Additional costs based on
complicated removal and
installation conditions of the
appliance (e.g. removal of
furniture or parts of the vehicle body) do not come under
warranty.
3. Raising the case of
warranty
The manufacturer's address
is: Truma Gerätetechnik

Germany, always notify the
Truma service centre if problems are encountered; in
other countries the relevant
service partners should be
contacted (see list of addresses). Any complaints are to
be described in detail. In addition, the properly completed guarantee certificate is to
be presented, or the factory
number of the unit and the
date of purchase given.
To avoid transport damage,
the device may only be dispatched after agreement with
the Truma Service Centre in
Germany or with the particular service partner concerned
abroad. The risk for possible
transport damage will
otherwise be borne by the
consignor.
Dispatch is normally to be
carried out by freight forwarders using the special
dispatch boxes available from
Truma. If it is a case of warranty, the factory shall bear
the cost for the delivery to
the factory and the cost for
returning the appliance to the
customer. If the damage is
deemed not to be a warranty
case, the manufacturer shall
notify the customer and shall
specify repair costs which
shall not be borne by the manufacturer; in this case, the
customer shall also bear the
shipping costs.
The manufacturer shall bear
the cost of employing the
Truma customer service for
the removal of a malfunction
under warranty – in particular
transportation costs, travelling expenses, job and material costs, as long as the
service is carried out in Germany. The warranty does not
cover customer service work
in other countries.

9. Ne pas enclencher le mode
de refroidissement pendant
une longue période, lorsque le véhicule n'est pas à
l'horizontale, en effet l’eau de
condensation qui se forme
ne peut pas s'écouler et peut,
dans le pire des cas, pénétrer
à l'intérieur du véhicule.

Mise en marche
Vérifier impérativement,
avant de mettre l'appareil en
marche, que les protections
par fusibles (4,2 A min.) de
l'alimentation électrique du
camping sont suffisantes
pour 980 W (230 V).
Le dévidoir de câble
doit être entièrement déroulé afin d’éviter
une surchauffe du câble
d’alimentation en courant
pour la caravane (section
minimum de 3 x 2,5 mm²).
Pour la mise en marche du
climatiseur, mettre le commutateur de la pièce de commande sur « b » pour refroidir
à faible vitesse de soufflerie
ou « c » pour refroidir à haute
vitesse de soufflerie.
La position « c » (puissance
de soufflerie élevée) sert au
refroidissement rapide de
la température ambiante, la
position « b » (faible puissance de soufflerie) se prête
particulièrement à la déshumidification des locaux et à
l'utilisation nocturne, la soufflerie tournant plus lentement
et donc bien plus silencieusement.

Conseils d'utilisation
des climatiseurs
– L'appareil Truma-Saphir
comfort BT a été étudié pour
fonctionner avec une intensité minimale de courant. Il
est toutefois préférable de
vérifier, avant la première
utilisation, qu'une protection
par fusible (4,2 A min.) suffisante est bien installée dans
le camping.
– Dans la mesure du possible,
garer votre véhicule à l'ombre.
– Abaisser les stores intérieurs et/ou le store extérieur
afin de réduire l'irradiation de
la chaleur.
– Nettoyer votre toit régulièrement (les toits sales se
réchauffent plus fortement).
– Avant de mettre l'appareil
en marche, aérer votre véhicule afin d'évacuer l'air chaud
qui s'est accumulé dans
celui-ci.
– En cas de pose de jupe ou
dispositif similaire, veillez à la
présence d’ouvertures suffisantes pour assurer une évacuation et une aspiration efficaces de l’air d’alimentation
sous le véhicule
– Afin de garder un air ambiant sain, la différence entre
la température intérieure et
la température extérieure ne
doit pas être trop grande.
Pendant le fonctionnement
de l'appareil, l'air brassé est
nettoyé et séché. Grâce au
séchage de l’air humide et
étouffant, on obtient, dans la
pièce, un climat agréable dès
le moindre petit écart de
température.
– Pendant le fonctionnement
du climatiseur, laisser toutes
les portes et les fenêtres
fermées.
1. Pour éviter tout dommage pendant le transport,
l’appareil ne doit être transporté que si le service aprèsvente de Truma a donné son
accord (voir page 22).
2. Avant d'ouvrir le boîtier
s'assurer que tous les pôles
ne sont plus sous tension.
3. Toute modification de
l'appareil ou utilisation
de pièces de rechange et
d'accessoires importants
au fonctionnement, qui ne
sont pas des pièces Truma
d'origine, ainsi que le non-respect des con signes de montage et d'utilisation entraîne
l'annulation de la garantie
ainsi que l'exclusion de tout
recours.
4. Le circuit de refroidissement contient le liquide de
refroidissement R 407C et ne
doit être ouvert que par un
spécialiste.
5. Afin de garantir un
fonctionnement parfait de
l'appareil, veiller à ce que la
sortie d'air froid ainsi que
l'aspiration de l'air recyclé soient toujours bien dégagées.
6. Les ouvertures situées en
dessous du véhicule ne doivent jamais être bouchées
par de la saleté ou de la neige
fondue.
7. Si le plancher du véhicule doit être protégé par un
enduit plastique pour bas
de caisse, toutes les ouver-
tures situées sous le véhicule
doivent être recouvertes
d’une protection, et ceci afin
que le brouillard de pulvérisation qui se forme lors de
l’application du produit ne
pénètre pas dans l’appareil
et n’entraîne pas de dysfonctionnements. Une fois
l’application terminée, enlever les protections posées sur
les ouvertures.
8. Afin de ne pas abîmer le
compresseur, il est interdit de
descendre ou de monter des
côtes de plus de 8% lorsque
l'appareil fonctionne pendant
que vous roulez (p. ex. avec
générateur ou transformateur
de tension).
Sur la face avant des appareils se situent un filtre
à peluches (n) et un filtre à
particules (p), qui servent au
nettoyage de l’air de la pièce.

Le filtre à peluches (n) doit
être nettoyé à intervalles réguliers – au moins 2 fois par
an – et remplacé, si besoin
est (n° d’art. 40090-58200).
Nous recommandons de
remplacer le filtre à particules
(p) chaque année, en début
de saison (n° d’art. 40090-
58100).
Pour changer les filtres, tirer
le filtre à peluches (n) vers
l’avant en le prenant par le
bord supérieur au niveau des
évidements et le sortir vers
le haut. Sortir le filtre à
particules vers l’avant.
Faire très attention à la
position de montage !
Les flèches imprimées doivent pointer vers l’intérieur de
l’appareil, elles symbolisent
la direction du flux dans le
système de circulation d’air.
Ne jamais faire fonctionner l’appareil sans filtre.
Sans le filtre, l’évaporateur
peut se salir et entraîner ainsi
une baisse de puissance de
l’appareil !
L'écoulement de l’eau de
condensation se trouve sous
plancher du véhicule. Pour
que l’eau de condensation
puisse s’écouler librement,
vérifier régulièrement que
l’écoulement est exempt de
saletés, feuilles mortes ou
