13. Inspect appliance for any damage to the housing, cord or plug. Keep all fasteners tight.
14. Do not use if the switch does not turn the appliance on and off properly.
15. Keep everyone, especially children and pets, away from the area of operation. Never allow children to operate the appliance. Turn off unit immediately if you are approached.
16. Always inspect the area before starting the appli­ance to remove debris and hard or sharp objects that can be blown or cause damage during opera­tion.
17. Do not overreach or use from unstable surfaces such as ladders, trees, steep slopes, rooftops, etc. Keep firm hold of handle and walk, never run. Keep firm footing and balance at all times.

19. Never operate with any air openings blocked. Keep air openings free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow. Do not plug anything into openings or blower tubes.
20. Never use the appliance for spreading chemicals, fertilizer, or any other substances that may contain toxic materials. Do not use appliance as a sprayer of flammable liquids.

1. With the unit off and unplugged, press down the button (A) and install the regular nozzle (B) onto the motor housing (C). (Figs. 1 and 2)
2. Insert the concentrator nozzle onto the regular nozzle to lock (Fig. 2 ). (Concentator nozzle is used to increase air flow in tight areas : flower beds, under decks, etc.).

1. With the unit off and unplugged, remove regular nozzle from motor housing by pressing down but­ton (A) and pulling regular nozzle off (Fig. 1). Then release the vacuum door by carefully insert­ing a flat head screwdriver into the latch opening (Fig. 3).Twist the tip of the screwdriver gently and pull open the door with your other hand (Fig. 3 and 4).

3. Align the arrow on the upper vacuum tube with the arrow on the motor housing (Fig. 6).
4. Insert the upper vacuum tube into the motor housing. Turn the tube clockwise until the dot on the tube aligns with the dot on the motor housing (Fig. 6).

6. Attach the vacuum bag to the vacuum bag adapter. (Fig. 9)
7. Press down the button (E) and insert the bag adapter into the unit.(Fig. 10, 11 and 12)

of electric shock, this unit has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). The outdoor exten­sion cord used with the unit must also be polarized. The plug on the extension cord will fit into the unit only one way. If the plug doesn't fit fully into the unit, reverse the plug. If it does not fit, use a cord with a correct connection. If the cord does not fit into the power supply outlet, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. DO NOT change the plug on the extension cord or unit in any way.

OPERATING AS A BLOWER
Hold the blower as shown in Figs. 15 and sweep from side to side with the nozzle several inches above the ground or floor.Slowly advance, keeping the accumulat­ed pile of debris in front of you.
Most dry blowing operations are better suited to low speed than high. Of course, you may choose to use either and you'll probably find the high speed better for moving heavier items like large debris or gravel.
1. Use the blower for trees, shrubs, flower beds and hard-to-clean areas .
2. Use the blower around buildings and for other nor­mal cleaning.
3. Use the blower for walls, overhangs and screens. (Fig. 15)
