To prepare your pressurewasher for operation, youwill need to perform these tasks:
1. Fill out and send in registration card.
2. Attach handleto main unit.
3. Add oil to engine crankcase.
4. Add fuel to fuel tank.
5. Connecthigh pressure hoseto spray gun and pump.
6. Connectwater supply to pump.
7. Attach nozzleextensionto spray gun.
8. Select/attachquick connect spraytip to nozzle extension.
NOTE:It may be necessaryto move the handlesupports from sideto side in orderto align the handleso it will slide over the handle supports.

Howto StartYourPressureWasher
To start your pressure washerfor thefirst time, follow these instructions step-by-step. This starting information also applies if you have let the pressure washersit idle for at least a day.
1. Placepressurewasher near an outside water source capableof supplying water at aflow rategreaterthan
3.3 gallons per minute (12.5 liters per minute) and no less than 20 PSI (1.38 BARS)at pressure washer end of garden hose. DONOTsiphon supply water.
2. Checkthat high pressure hose istightly connectedto spray gun and pump. SeeAssembly section.
3. Make sure unit is in alevel position.
4. Connectgarden hoseto water inlet on pressurewasher pump.

Cleaning andApplyingDetergent

TOapply detergent,fellow these steps:
1. Reviewuse of spray tips.
2. Preparedetergent solution as requiredby job.
3. Placesmall filter end of detergent siphoning tube into detergent container.
NOTICE

Wheninsertingthefilterintoadetergentsolutionbottle,route thetubesoasto keepit from inadvertentlycontactingthehot

NOTE:Make surethe filter is fully submerged in detergent while applying detergent.
4. Make sure black spray tip is installed.
NOTE:Detergent cannot be applied with the high pressure spray tips (Greenor Red).
5. Make sure garden hose is connected to water inlet. Checkthat high pressure hoseis connectedto spray gun and pump. Turn on water.
6. Engagetrigger lock on spray gun and start engine following instructions How to Start Your Pressure
Washer.
7. Apply detergentto a dry surface,starting at lower portion of areato be washedand work upward, using long, even,overlapping strokes.
8. Allow detergentto "soak in" for 3-5 minutes before washing and rinsing. Reapplyas neededto prevent surfacefrom drying. DO NOTallow detergentto dry on (prevents streaking).
IMPORTANT:You must flush the detergent siphoning system aftereach useby placingthe filter into a bucket of cleanwater, then run the pressurewasher in low pressure
for 1-2 minutes.
