Check the package contents
Remove the unit and all accessories from the box. Confi rm that you have all of
the items listed below. Your confi guration may include additional items.
Install and charge the battery
5. Using the Philips screwdriver end of
the stylus, secure the battery door
6. Plug the charger into power strip or
wall outlet.

4. Insert the battery in the battery compartment on the back of the Nomad
1. Select the appropriate outlet
adapter for the AC adapter (charger)
2. Connect the outlet adapter to
the charger

STEP 3
Power on and boot to Windows
1. Press the power button and allow the
Nomad to boot to Windows.
2. The fi rst time you boot up the Nomad, you
will need to align the touchscreen. You
will also have the option of setting up a
password. If you set a password, be sure
it is one you will remember.
STEP 4
Attach the hand strap and screen protector
1. Attach one end of the hand strap
to the hook near the bottom of
the back of the Nomad.
2. Stretch the hand strap toward
the top end of the unit and attach it to the hook near the top.
3. Install the screen protector. Peel
the backing and place the screen
protector over the touchscreen.
Slide the edges of the screen
protector under the bezel to ensure
best fi t. Smooth with the enclosed
installation card if needed to remove
air bubbles.
7. Plug the barrel end of the charger
into the power port on the bottom of
the Nomad.
8. Charge the battery until the battery
LED is green
