HDCP Converter

1. Introduction

The Triax THC 22 features HDMI high-definition straight-through transmission, HDCP conversion
and EDID bypass functionality. The HDMI “IN” port supports HDMI 2.0 & HDCP 2.2 and is backward
compatible with all previous HDMI standards. The HDMI “OUT” port converts from HDMI 2.0,
HDCP 2.2 down to HDMI 1.4 & HDCP 1.4 respectively. The THC 22 has a maximum signal
transmission 4k*2k@60Hz up to 15m, 1080p 20m.

The incorporated EDID bypass function of the THC 22 ensures the best resolution possible.

Owing to its designed the Triax THC 22 HDCP converter is ideal for using with new HDCP 2.2
Source equipment that is to be installed in an existing installation.

Connect a HDMI source (e.g. a Blu-ray DVD) to “IN” port of THC 22 HDCP Convertor;

1. Connect an HDMI cable from the Source to the “IN” port on the THC 22 HDCP Convertor

2. Connect an HDMI cable from the display to the “OUT” port on the THC 22 HDCP Convertor

3. Plug DC 5V 1A power adapter into the power socket on the THC 22

4. Ensure that all connections are made prior to switching on the power at the mains socket

5. System should be installed in a clean environment with prop temperature and humidity.

Note* The THC 22 Converter is also ideal with use with all HDCP 1.4 Matrices.

Position the THC 22 between the Source and the HDMI input socket on the Matrix.
