TEMPERATURE SENSOR

KTM THERMOSTAT REPLACEMENT

2008-2014 250-530 XC-W, XCF-W, EXC, EXC-F MODELS (INCLUDING CHAMPIONS & 6 DAYS EDITIONS)

KIT CONTENTS:

Sensor Body

Coolant Hose

Bypass Cap

3/4” Hose Clamp

1/2” Hose Clamp

INSTALLATION:

1. Drain cooling system.

2. Remove OEM thermostat housing, head connection hose, and bypass hose.

3. Install bypass cap with 1/2 hose clamp on radiator.

4. Install coolant hose with one 3/4” hose clamp on head.

5. Install sensor body with two 3/4” hose clamps on coolant hose to frame and coolant hose to
head.

6. Refill cooling system.

7. Connect temperature sensor to computer.

8. Start engine and check for leaks before riding.

Sensor Body

3/4” Hose Clamp

INSTALLATION:

1. Drain cooling system.

2. Remove OEM thermostat housing and radiator connecting hoses at bottom of thermostat.

3. Install coolant hose with one 3/4” hose clamp on head.

4. Install sensor body with two 3/4” hose clamps on coolant hose to frame and coolant hose to head.

5. Install new cross hose that connects the two radiators with existing hose clamps.

6. Refill cooling system.

7. Connect temperature sensor to computer.

8. Start engine and check for leaks before riding.
