Each press of the MODE button will cycle the display through the following timing modes: Split, Lap, and Countdown.

If the stopwatch is running (indicated by running numbers and/or LAP or S PLIT flashing on t he display), pr ess the STAR T/STOP butto n until STOP ap pears at the bottom of th e display. Pres s the SPLIT/R ESET button to clear the dis play to zero. Th e display will only clear to zero wh en the stopwatch has been stopped.

/Time Out Ti m ing
Time In
1. Press the MODE button unti l SPLIT or LAP appears on th e display.
2. Clear the display to zero.
3. The first press of the START/STOP button starts the timing.
4. The second pr ess of the START/STOP button stops the t iming. The stopwatch holds the reading where it was stopped (Time-Out).
5. The third press of the START/STOP butto n resumes timing from the point that it was stopped (Time-In). Any number of Time-Outs may be taken, simply repeat steps 4 and 5 as ofte n as needed.
6. Once timing is completed, clear the display to zero.

For timing which lasts over 10 hours, the stopwatch inst antly rolls over to zero and continues ti m ing.
ative Split Timing
Cumul
Cumulative Split Timing “ freezes” the display for part ial cumulative event times while the internal clock continu es to run.
1. Press the MODE button unti l SPLIT appear s on the display.
2. Clear the display to zero.
3. The first pr ess of the START/STOP button starts the timing.
4. Pressing the SPLIT/RESET button “freezes” the displ ay at the cumulative time while the int ernal clock c ontinues to ru n. (SPLIT flashing on the display indicates t he internal clock is running.)
5. Pressing the SPLI T/ RE SE T button again will show the cumulative running time. Any number of Splits may be taken, simply repeat steps 4 and 5 as often as needed.
6. At the end of the last event, press the START/STOP button to stop the timing.

Once the desired time is on the display, the MODE butto n may be pressed to exit the
setting mode and set the co untdown time.
7. If the wrong time has been entered, repeat steps 3-6 to set the desired countdown t ime.
8. With the desired time on the display, press the ST ART/STOP button to begin countdown t iming. During the countdown process, the timer may be paused by pressing the START/STOP button and restarted by pres sing the START/STOP button.

WN Memory
The memory function will al low a countdo wn time to be recalled multiple times without having to re-enter the countdown time. T he stopwatch will return to the desired countdown t ime again and a gain.
1. Follow the steps in the “Countdown Alarm Timing” sect ion.
2. Once the sto pwatch reaches zero and the count-up timing has been stopped,
press the SP LIT/RESET button to recall the original programmed ti me.
3. Press the STA RT/STOP button again to begin counting d own.
CLEARING THE COUNTDOWN memory
To clear the countdown time, while in the Countdown mode, press and hol d the MODE button for 3 seconds until the hours begin to flash. Press the MODE button again to exit the setting mode. The c ountdown time w ill be set to zero.
All Operational Difficulties
If this stopwatch does not function pro perly for any reason, replace the battery with a new high qualit y battery (see “Battery Replacement” section). Low battery power can occasionall y c ause any number of “apparent” operatio nal difficulties. Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery wi ll solve most difficulties.
Battery Replacement
A faint display, i ncorrect display, or no di splay are all indicators that the battery must be replaced. To replace the battery, remove the screws on the back of th e unit. Remove the back. Remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a ne w 1.5-volt Silver Oxide 357 size battery. Make certain the ne w battery is instal led with the positive side visible. Replace the back of the unit m ak ing certain th at t he o-ring seal is properly seated in the back of the unit. Replace the screws and tighten securely.
Lap Interval Timi n g
Lap Interval Timing yields a readout of each individual time increment of a connected series of events.
1. Press the MODE button unti l LAP appears on the display.
2. Clear the display to zero.
3. The first pr ess of the START/STOP button starts the timing.
4. The first pr ess of the SPLIT/RESET butto n “freezes” the dis play, automati cally resets the tim er to zero and starts timing the next interval. (SPLIT f lashing on the display indicates the internal cloc k is running.)
5. Each additional press of t he SPLIT/RESET button “fre ezes” the display and shows the new updated lap i nterval time. Any number of Lap Intervals may be taken, simply repeat steps 4 and 5 as often as needed.
6. At the end of the last event, press the START/STOP button to stop the timing.

1. Press the MODE button unti l COUNTDOWN appears on the display.
2. Clear the display to zero.
3. Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds (hours will begin to flash) .
4. Press the STA RT/STOP button to set the des ired number of hours, the n press the SPLIT/R ESET button (minutes will begin to flash)
5. Press the STA RT/STOP button to set the des ired number of minutes, t hen press the SP LIT/RESET button (seconds will begin to fl ash)
6. Press the STA RT/STOP button to set the des ired number of seconds, then press the SP LIT/RESET button (the countdown time will be set)
