TURNING THE UNIT ON/OFF
To turn the unit on, press the ON
button.
To turn the unit off, press the OFF
button.
INCHES OR MILLIMETERS
Once the unit has been turned
on, each press of the INCH/MM
button will toggle the display
between inches and millimeters.
While taking a measurement,
press the INCH/MM button at any
time to covert from one unit of
measure to the other.
ZERO ADJUSTING
Clean the measuring surfaces by
rubbing a clean piece of paper
between the caliper surfaces
several times.
Push the measuring surfaces
together.
Reset the display to zero by
pressing the 0 button.
NOTE
The graduated scale on the
caliper body is for approximate
reference only, the exact
measurement, accurate to
±0.2mm/0.01”, is shown on the
LCD display.

ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this unit does not function properly for
any reason, replace the battery with a
new high-quality battery (see “Battery Replacement” section). Low battery power
can occasionally cause any number of

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Erratic readings, a faint display, or no
display are all indications that the battery
must be replaced. Slide the battery cover
off (away from the display). Remove the
exhausted battery and replace with a new
1.5 volt silver-oxide battery. Equivalent
battery replacements are: RAYOVAC
RW42, DURACELL D357, GPA76, and
EVEREADY 357. Make certain to insert
the new battery with the positive (+) side
up. Replace the battery cover.
