Caution
- Always use surge protectors indoors, in a dry location.
- Do not use the SP290 if properly grounded outlets are not available.
- Do not “daisy-chain” the SP290 or use it with extension cords.
- Do not plug the SP290 into another re-locatable power strip.
- Do not plug the SP290 into a generator.
- Do not expose the SP290 to any liquids.
- Do not replace the supply cord of the SP290.
- If the power cord of the SP290 becomes damaged, unplug and discard
the SP290 to prevent any electrical damage.
- The power cord of the SP290 must be plugged directly into an AC power
source to ensure proper surge protection.
- Connected Equipment must be plug into the outlets of the SP290 in the
correct position. Uncoil the power cord of the SP290 before use.
- Do not cover the power cord of the SP290 with any material.
- Keep children and pets away from the power cord of the SP290.
- Use original or certified cable
CAUTION
- If the surge protector resists a power surges or spike that is beyond the
specified limits, it may cause the LED to turn off
- The LED CANNOT turn back on, once it turns off.
- The surge protector can still function as a normal power strip, though the
surge protection may not be active.

· Options to shut off or turn off power to the SP290:
- Turn power button into the off position. The LED light on the power
button will turn off.
- Disconnect the SP290 from the AC source. The LED light on the
power button will turn off.
· Do not disassemble or make repairs to the SP290. Doing this will void
the limited warranty. If you need service, please contact TP-Link Support.
· Avoid water and wet locations.
