Scooter Rental User Guide
Getting Started
Make sure the scooter is turned off, charger is unplugged from the wall as well as the scooter. Pivot the armrest in upward motion to make
lock mode prior to mounting and dismounting.
Operating Your Scooter
Turn the key clockwise to power on your scooter. Set the speed to your desired comfort by turning the dial counter-clockwise to go slower and
clockwise to go faster. Grasp the throttle control lever with your right/left hand and the scooter will move forward. The more you engage the
throttle lever the faster the speed of the scooter will go. Each scooter has a maximum programed speed. Pull the tiller handle bars to your left to
steer your scooter to the left. Pull the tiller handle bars to your right to steer your scooter to the right. Bring the tiller handle bars to the center
position to drive straight forward.
Stopping
Release the throttle lever and the scooter electromagnetic brakes will automatically engage and your scooter will come to a stop.
Reversing
Grasp the throttle lever with your left hand and the scooter will go in reverse. Reverse speed is programed to be slower than forward speed mode.
Always make sure you check behind you to make sure path is clear and safe before engaging in reverse mode.
Dismounting
Bring your scooter to a complete stop and power off and remove the key from the key switch. Carefully, slowly and safely get out of the seat and
utilize swivel seat option if needed.
Charging Your Scooter
The scooter needs to be charged every night. Make sure your scooter is powered off and the key removed before charging. Once the scooter is
powered off, connect the 3 prong end into the scooter first and then the electrical end into the wall outlet. Make sure the connection to each side
of the charger is secure, and pushed in all the way to ensure proper contact between charger and battery is being made. These steps are important
to follow or charging failure may occur. Do not leave your scooter charging for more than a 10 hour cycle. When travelling avoid completely
draining your batteries and it is suggested to conserve two power bars prior to charging scooter each evening for next day use.
*** In case of rain***
If it begins to rain while on the scooter please immediately proceed to a covered area. If a covered area cannot be reached quickly. Immediately
cover the top of the unit with a bag or poncho and proceed to seek cover. The electric components inside the scooter will malfunction if they
are exposed to the rain/liquids/sand and it will cause unit to seize up until ALL components are dried out and necessary damaged parts are
replaced.
Troubleshooting Guide
***Make sure the charger is unplugged from both the scooter and from the wall. Take the key completely out before
starting the steps below***
1. My scooter powers on but is not moving and beeping: Turn the power off and check the manual brake lever. Ensure the lever is pulled
toward the locked position. Now you may turn the key to power up your scooter and wait for the lights to illuminate fully BEFORE you try to press
the throttle to move.
2. My scooter has no power and is not moving: Check the circuit breaker located on the battery case itself. Press the clear silicone bubble to
throttle to move.
3. My scooters not moving: Ensure that battery case is properly seated in its position. Sometimes going over a large bump or during assembly
and disassembly when transporting can cause the battery case to shift from it’s secure connection. This can easily be fixed by grasping onto the
carry handle located on the top of the battery case. Lift the case in an upwards motion and snap back into proper position. A snapping noise
indicates the battery case is secure and stable power connection has been made. Now you may turn the key to power up your scooter and wait for
the lights to illuminate fully BEFORE you try to press the throttle to move.
4. My scooters not moving: If you did not have power returned after completing steps 1-3. You may be experiencing protect mode. This
happens when components of the scooter are overworked. Make sure you do not carry luggage or extra weight on the scooter and avoid steep
inclines past manufacture safety suggestion. The scooter protects itself from overheating by shutting down. To fix, follow steps 1-3 and allow the
scooter time to cool down in a cool well-ventilated area for about 20 mins. Now you may turn the key to power up your scooter and wait for the
lights to illuminate fully BEFORE you try to press the throttle to move. If power still does not return call the number on bottom of page for
technical assistance.
All above steps must be followed in the suggested order. Should you have any problems please call us right away so we may
provide customer care assistance.
