12.Lightning
For added protection for this video product during
a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and
unused for long periods of time, unplug it from
the wall outlet and disconnect the power supply
and cable system. This will prevent damage to
the video product due to lightning and power-line

16.Damage Requiring service

17.Replacement Parts

1. FEATURES & DESCRIPTION :
IK-DF01A has following function.
(1) Quick install Design- you can manually set the camera direction.
(2) Built in vari-focal lens with auto-iris
Focal length 2.8~5.8mm
(3) Incorporated 1/4type CCD image sensor gives high resolution and excellent
sensitivity
480 lines horizontal resolution
0.5 lx minimum illumination with smoke cover
(4) 50dB Signal-To Noise Patio
(5) Pow er supply- AC24V or DC12V - This camera automatically detects the power.
(6) BLC, AGC, and Line-Lock (AC24V)
2. Cautions :
(1) In order to protect the camera, avoid placing or using it under direct sunlight, r ain or
dust.
(2) Avoid touching the CCD sensor with your fingers. If necessary, use a soft cloth
moistened with alcohol to wipe off any dust.
(3) When the camera is not in use, keep the lens cap attached to protect the CCD
sensor.
(4) Avoid aiming the camera at the sun.
(5) Avoid shooting the camera at intense light. Intense light such as a spotlight may
cause a bloom or smear. A vertical stripe may appear on the screen.
However, this is not a malfunction.
(6) Install the camera away from video noise. If cables are wired near electric lighting
wires or a TV set, noise may appear in images. In this event, relocate cables or
reinstall equipment.

4. PART NAMES & FUNCTIONS :
Knockout
Cut with a knife or scissors
and insert the cables through
the knockout so the cables will
not pinched when installed.
"Bottom" mark
The "Bottom" mark indicates the
lens position. The "Bottom" mark
should be on the top when installing
in a ceiling.
Focus Lever
Adjusts the image into focus. Its screw
design allows locking capability.
Lens Iris ADJ
Use to compensate
for the iris level.
Turn towards L (low)
for a darker picture.
Turn towards H (high)
for a brighter picture.
Optimum value is
adjusted at the
default setting.
V Phase ADJ
Adjusts the phase
difference between
this camera and other
cameras when in Line
Lock mode.
Installation Holes
Installs camera to ceiling with
attached screws.
Lens ADJ Screw
Turn the ring-type screw to adjust the lens pan angle.
Fasten and lock it after completing the adjustment.
Power Input Cable
Connect the power
cable to AC24V or
DC12V. (RED:+12,
Black:GND)
VIDEO Cable (BNC Tap)
Connect the Video Cable to
a monitor or video device.
The image is outputted
when powered on.
Zoom Lever
Changes the picture range.
Its screw design allows
locking capability.
Mode Setting Switch
1:BLC (Backlight Compensation Control
When switched on, it
automatically adjusts to
compensate for subjects that
are lit from behind.
2:AGC (Auto Gain Control)
When switched on, it
automatically adjusts the
image in relation to the
brightness of the subject.
3:DC/AES
Not available for this camera.
Be sure to switch to ON.
4: LL (Line Lock)
Use this switch to set the
camera synchronization to
internal or line lock. Line
Lock is available with AC24V
only.
Tilt ADJ Screws
Turn the screws to adjust the lens tilt
angle. Fasten and lock them after the
adjustment completes.
