CAUTION
Duringregeneration,thedieselparticulate lterbecomesextremelyhotandcancause seriousburns.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfromthe engineduringregeneration.
Thedieselparticulatelter(DPF)removesparticulate matterfromtheexhaustandpreventsitfrombeing dischargedintotheair.Astheparticulatescollect inthelter,theengineperformsaregenerationto preventclogginganddecreasedengineperformance. Mostregenerationsareperformedinthebackground anddonotimpactoperation.Thereare4modes formaintenance:passiveregeneration,auto regeneration,stationaryregeneration,andrecovery regeneration.
