Checkthatallguardsandsafetydevices,suchas
deectorsand/orgrasscatcher,areinplaceand workingproperly.
Alwaysinspectthemachinetoensurethatthe
blades,bladebolts,andcuttingassemblyarenot wornordamaged.

Inspecttheareawhereyouwillusethemachine,
andremoveallobjectsthatcouldinterferewith theoperationofthemachineorthatthemachine couldthrow.
Adjustingthecuttingheightmaybringyouinto
contactwiththemovingblade,causingserious injury.
–Shutofftheengine,removetheignitionkey
(electric-startmodelonly),andwaitforall movingpartstostop.
