RemovingtheBlades
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO).
2.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stop,andremovethekeybeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Toaccesstheblades,dooneofthefollowing
steps:
•Raisethemowerdecktothehighestposition
andraisethefrontofthemachineand
supportitwithjackstands.
Note:Donotrelysolelyonmechanicalor
hydraulicjacksforsupport.Useadequate
jackstandsorequivalentsupport.
Use
Removetheblades.
•Removethemowerdeckasdescribedinthe
Operator’sManualforthemachine.
4.Holdthebladeendusingaragorthickly-padded
glove.Removethebladebolt,curvedwasher,
andbladefromthespindleshaft(Figure1).
