Shielding
FOIL - Aluminum bonded to both sides of a polypropylene or
polyester tape. When foil is used in conjunction with a braid shield, FOIL will be followed with a + and a letter/number combination.
BRAID- Strong, flexible wire braid is used to shield many of our cables. Braid designation is given as a percentage figure followed by a two letter code (i.e. 96% TC would be 96% coverage of a tinned copper braid).
