Optiva Standard, 1, 3, 6 or 8 Composite Videos
The OTS-*V fiber optic link consists of composite video
optical transmitter and receiver card which fit any of the
Optiva chassis. These units provide for the transmission
of 1, 3, 6 or 8 channel/s of composite video on a single
fiber up to a distance of 60 km (replace the * with 1,3,6 or
8 to represent the number of videos to transmitted). The 1
video and 3 video models take up 1 card slot in a chassis.
The 6 video model takes up 2 card slots and the 8 video
model takes up 3 card slots.
All units come in an insert card version. The cards can be
inserted into our 16-slot, 19” rack-mountable card cage
(OT-CC-16-100) or one of our smaller Optiva Desktop
Card Racks (OT-DTCR Series).
The Optiva® Desktop Card Racks can handle one, two or
four insert cards, creating compact, mountable, stand
alone systems. The use of separate OT-DTCR enclosures
allows for future flexibility and expansion as all cards are
hot-swappable and can be used in any enclosure. Each
one of our card housing units operate with an appropriate
power supply. See “Accessories” for power supply specifications.
