Maintenance and Setup
1. Place the clock on a level surface away from direct sunlight or
sources of excessive heat.
2. Protect your furniture when placing the unit on natural wood or wood
with a coated finish. A cloth or other protective material should be
placed between the unit and the furniture.
3. Clean the casing with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap
and water. Stronger cleaning agents are not recommended, as they
may damage the surface of the case.
4. If the unit is not to be used for a prolonged period, such as a month
or longer, remove the battery to prevent possible corrosion. Should
the battery compartment become corroded or dirty, clean the
compartment thoroughly and replace the battery.
Battery Installation
This alarm clock operates on 1 “C” “R14” battery (not included).
Note: Battery should only be installed by an adult.
Installing the Battery
1. The Battery Compartment is located on the
back of the cabinet.

2. Open the compartment and install 1 “C” “R14”
battery, making sure that the polarities match
the diagram inside the compartment.
3. Close the compartment, making sure that the
door clicks shut.

•We recommend the use of alkaline batteries for longer life.
•Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity.
•Remove exhausted batteries from the clock.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable battery.
•Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the clock before being charged.
•The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Battery should be removed if the item is not going to be needed for an extended
period of time (approximately 30 days or more) to preven leakage or damage to
the clock.

This clock features a night-light for easy night viewing. To use the night-light,
simply press and hold the clock face. Release the clock face to turn off the
light.

Using the Alarm Clock
Setting the Clock Time
Rotate the Clock-Set Thumbwheel control to set the clock to the
current time.
Setting the Alarm Time
Rotate the Alarm-Set Thumbwheel control to position the Alarm
Hand to the desired alarm time.
Note: This clock features an analog 12-hour display. The time and
alarm do not distinguish between AM and PM, so if the Alarm
Switch is set to “On” the alarm will sound at both AM and PM times.
Setting the Alarm Time
To set the alarm, slide the Alarm Switch to the “On” position.
When the alarm bells sound, at the time shown by the Alarm Hand,
slide the Alarm Switch to “Off” to turn off the alarm.
Note: When the alarm sounds, it will play for around 40 minutes or
until manually stopped before turning off automatically. This cycle
will repeat every 12 hours until the alarm is deactivated.

Timex Audio Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as
SDI Technologies), warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 90 days from the
date of original purchase.
Should this product fail to function in a satisfactory manner, it is best to first return it
to the store where it was originally purchased.

damage to tape cassettes or compact discs (if applicable); (iv) the cost of shipping
this product to the Consumer Repair Department and its return to the owner.
This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and does not extend to
owners of the product subsequent to the original purchaser. Any applicable implied
warranties are also limited to 90 days, and SDI Technologies will not be liable for
consequential damages. (Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties
or exclusion of consequential damages, so these restrictions may not apply to you.)
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state.
