the ACE RC GT5 flybarless system.
Introduction
Congratulation on your purchase of ACE RC GT5 USB dongle.
Using the GT5 dongle the firmware can be updated as well as
the parameter can be modified on your PC.

Step 2 : Driver installation
Step 2-1:
The driver installation will be launched automatically
after GT5 Tools setup.
Step 2-2:
Choose I accept this agreement.
Step 1-1:
For Microsoft Windows system
Execute the GT5 tools.exe
For Mac OS
Execute the GT5 tools.dmg
Step 1-2:
Setup wizard will guide you finish the installation step
by step.
Step 2-3:
The driver installation is finished.
When you connect the interface to the pc, windows
recognize the device and install it as a new device.
Step 3: Comport for GT5 interface
Important for using the software is that the correct port
for the GT5 interface was selected. Otherwise you can not
connect the GT5 and firmware update can not be
performed.
Step 3-1:
For computer running Microsoft Windows
After successful installation of the driver, when the GT5
interface is connected to the PC, you must be able to find
following entry in the Windwos Device Manager:
Step 4: Firmware update
Step 4-1:
Plug the dongle to GT5 term channel(CH7) refer the
connection to PC.
Step 4-2:
Make sure use the correct COM port and choose
update firmware *.gt5upd. Follw the step.
Step 3-2:
The name “USB to UART Brige” may be different on
your PC. This entry must disappear when you disconnect
the GT5 Interface from the PC, and reappear when you
connect it again.
Step 3-3:
You can set Comport in GT5 Tools “Options” function.
Or click Autodetect button.
Step 4-3:
Please plug power to GT5.
Step 4-4:
Firmware update finished.
Step 4-5:
After connect the dongle and power. Click connect to
GT5 to establish a connection to the device.
Under Mac OS or Linux, the connection should be
identified as “/dev/cu.SLAB_USBtoUART“ if driver have
been installed and interface is plugged in.
