Mains switch
The light indication in the display state if the amplifier is turned on. The amplifier is turned on by pushing "1" on the rocker switch on the rear panel of the amplifier.
Standby
For smoother operation the standby function can be controlled from Spirit PR150B or IA150B. By connecting "Standby out" from PR150B or IA150B to "Standby input", the power amplifier will follow the mode of the PR150B or IA150B. Cable for connection is enclosed in the packing. In standby mode, the amplifier’s circuit is still active, but power consumption is minimized.
From turning on mains switch it will last 2-4 hours before sound performance is optimal, while from standby mode it will only last 30-60 minutes.
Cleaning
Turn off the mains switch before cleaning. Do never use chemicals.
Netafbryder
Lysindikation i displayet fortæller om forstærkeren er slukket eller tændt. Forstærkeren tændes ved at trykke "1" på vippeafbryderen på bagsiden af apparatet.
Standby
For lettere betjening kan standbyfunktionen kontrolleres fra Sprit PR150B eller IA150B.
Ved at forbinde "Standby out" fra disse apparater til "Standby input", vil effektforstærkeren følge tilstanden af PR150B eller IA150B. Et kabel er vedlagt i emballagen.
I standby tilstand er dele af forstærkerens kredsløb stadig aktive, men effektforbruget er minimeret.
Fra apparatet tændes med netafbryderen vil der gå 2-4 timer før der opnås optimal lydkvalitet. Fra standby vil der kun gå 30-60 minutter før optimal lydkvalitet opnås.
Rengøring
Afbryd apparatet på netafbryderen før rengøring. Brug aldrig rengøringsmidler, der indeholder opløsningsmidler.

Instructions for installation and operation
Betjeningsvejledning
Congratulations with your new amplifier. We are sure it will give you long lasting pleasure to listen to music. Before you go on, please read this manual.
Caution: Because of risk of fire or electronic shock, do not expose the amplifier to rain or moisture. Caution: Because of risk of electronic shock, do not open the amplifier. All warranty will be cancelled.
Placing
Place the amplifier on a hard and flat surface. The ventilation holes must not be covered. There has to be at least 20 cm (8 inches) clearance above the amplifier and at least 5 cm (2 inches) around the sides for adequate ventilation. Do not place CD player or other equipment on top of the amplifier.
To ensure long and trouble free operation we recommend:
-Do not expose the amplifier to direct sunlight.
-Do not place the amplifier in warm or dusty environments.
Connections
Preamplifier is connected with phono plugs or XLR plugs at the rear panel. The balanced XLR input is configured according to IEC specification:
PIN 1: GND PIN 2: + PIN 3: -
Left loudspeaker is connected to "LOUDSPEAKER L", and right loudspeaker is connected to the "LOUDSPEAKER R". Be sure that the loudspeakers are connected in phase.
The mains plug must be connected to mains voltage printed on the rear panel.
Caution: Short-circuit between the loudspeaker terminals will blow off fuses, which resets, after shortcircuit is removed. Short-circuit either of the loudspeaker terminals to the cabinet, ground or signal cables can damage the amplifier. Always turn off the amplifier when connecting or removing loudspeaker cables or signal cables.

Placer ikke CD-afspiller eller andet udstyr oven på forstærkeren. For at sikre lang problemfri anvendelse af forstærkeren bør følgende regler overholdes:
-Udsæt ikke forstærkeren for direkte sollys.
-Placering i varme eller støvede omgivelser bør undgås.

Forforstærkeren kan tilsluttes med phonostik eller XLRstik på bagpladen. Det balancerede XLR stik er

Venstre og højre højttaler tilsluttes hhv. venstre og højre højttalertilslutning, benævnt "LOUDSPEAKER". Der kan tilsluttes gaffelkabelsko eller afisolerede kabelender indtil 2,5mm2. Højttalerne skal tilsluttes i fase. Netstikket skal tilsluttes den netspænding, der er trykt på bagpladen.
Bemærk: Kortslutning mellem højttalerklemmerne afbryder sikringer, der resetter når kortslutningen er fjernet. Forstærkeren kan ødelægges hvis højttalerklemmerne kortsluttes til kabinettet eller signalstik. Derfor skal forstærkeren altid være slukket når højttalerkablerne eller signalkablerne tilsluttes eller afmonteres.
