The Spirit product line, like all products from Thule Audio, have been designed and built with one goal in mind: keep it simple! It is not a coinsidence that our slogan is deceptively simple, though. The simple, elegant exterior where no unnecessary buttons clutter the front plates hides many unique technical details, all of which help to create Thule Audio's uniquely crisp and natural sound.

The Spirit CD players are built with CDM14BL-5BD25 laser units and loaders from Sony, but we have optimized the servo parameters to our own standards.
These design efforts have resulted in CD players that can play most scratches of up to 2 mm without any detrimental effects on the sound. An added benefit of our design is that the system is in “stand by mode” when the disc has no bad sections. This means that the mechanical noise from the CD mechanism is extremely low, compared to other CD players, and that our CD players are very reliable in the long term.
Furthermore the CD100 and CD150B are build with heavy steel cabinets, damped feets and floating laser sledge coupling, which makes them less vulnerable to mechanical shock than most other CD players.

CD100: This is Thule Audio's entry level CD player. It contains one Burr Brown PCM1716 D/A converter with multilevel Delta-Sigma, and it has one phono and one coax digital ( 75 Ohm ) output. Both with regards to design and capabilities, it is a perfect match for any of the Spirit amplifiers.
CD150B: This is Thule Audio's high end CD player. It contains two Burr Brown PCM1716 D/A converters with multilevel Delta-Sigma, and it has one XLR, one phono and one coax digital ( 75 Ohm ) output. The CD150B is fully balanced and has separate power supplies for the digital and the analog sections. Both with regards to design and capabilities, it is a perfect match for any of the Spirit B amplifiers: By using the XLR connectors from CD150B and connect them to any of Thule Audio’s balanced amplifiers with a XLR cable, you will obtain a fully balanced signal path.
TU100: This tuner matches the other Spirit ( and Space, for that matter ) products perfectly. It contains the newest in FM technology and has 40 preset channels as well as RDS ( Radio Data System - a European text system ).
