Elimination de l’appareil en n de vie

Cet appareil comporte le symbole DEEE (Déchet d’Equipement Electrique et

Electronique) signiant qu’en n de vie, il ne doit pas être jeté aux déchets

ménagers, mais déposé au centre de tri de la localité. La valorisation des déchets permet de contribuer à préserver notre environnement.

Elimination des piles en n de vie

Pour respecter l’environnement, ne pas jeter les piles usagées aux déchets

ménagers. Les déposer au centre de tri de la localité ou dans un collecteur prévu à cet effet.

• Ne pas obstruer les orices de ventilation de l’appareil.

• Ne pas installer l’appareil sur une surface molle, comme un tapis ou une couverture, qui

pourrait bloquer les orices de ventilation.

• Ne pas poser d’objets lourds sur l’appareil.

• Cet appareil n’est pas un jouet, ne pas laisser son utilisation à des enfants sans

surveillance.

• Ne jamais laisser les enfants introduire des objets étrangers dans l’appareil.

• Sous l’inuence de phénomènes électriques transitoires rapides et/ou électrostatiques, le

produit peut présenter des dysfonctionnements et nécessiter l’intervention de l’utilisateur pour une réinitialisation.

• La che du cordon secteur sert de dispositif de déconnexion et doit rester facilement exploitable. Pour déconnecter complètement l’appareil de l’alimentation électrique, la che du cordon secteur doit être entièrement débranchée de la prise murale.

• Débrancher l’appareil de l’alimentation :

- s’il reste inutilisé pendant une longue période,

- en cas d’orage,

- s’il ne fonctionne pas normalement.

• Si le câble est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou une personne de qualication similaire an d’éviter un danger.

AVERTISSEMENT D’UTILISATION ET D’INSTALLATION

ATTENTION : Ne pas exposer l’appareil à la pluie ou à l’humidité pour éviter tout risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique. Par conséquent ne pas utiliser l’appareil à proximité d’un point d’eau ou dans une pièce humide (salle de bain, piscine, évier...). ATTENTION : Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ou un quelconque liquide.

• Ne placer aucun objet rempli de liquide (ex. : vases…) sur l’appareil.

• Ne pas placer l’appareil en plein soleil, à proximité d’un appareil de chauffage ou de toute

source de chaleur, dans un endroit soumis à une poussière excessive ou à des chocs

mécaniques.

• Ne pas exposer à des températures extrêmes. Cet appareil est destiné à être utilisé sous

un climat tempéré.

• Ne placer aucun élément thermogène (bougie, cendrier…) à proximité de l’appareil.

• Placer l’appareil sur une surface plane, rigide et stable.

• Ne pas installer l’appareil en position inclinée. Il est conçu pour fonctionner uniquement à l’horizontale.

• Installer l’appareil dans un endroit sufsamment ventilé pour éviter une surchauffe interne. Eviter les espaces restreints tels qu’une bibliothèque, une armoire,…

TELECOMMANDE

INSTALLATION DES PILES

• Ouvrir le compartiment à piles de la télécommande.

• Insérer 2 piles LR03/AAA 1,5V en respectant le sens de polarité.

• Refermer le compartiment à piles.

UTILISATION

Veiller à bien orienter la télécommande vers le capteur infrarouge situé sur la face avant de

l’appareil.

Aucun obstacle ne doit se trouver entre l’appareil et la télécommande an d’assurer une

bonne communication.

INFORMATIONS CONCERNANT LES PILES

• Pour fonctionner correctement, l’appareil doit être équipé des piles prévues à cet effet.

• Seules les piles du type recommandé doivent être utilisées.

• Les piles doivent être mises en place en respectant le sens de polarité.

• Les bornes des piles ne doivent pas être mises en court-circuit.

• Ne pas mélanger des piles neuves et des piles usagées.

• Ne pas mélanger des piles alcalines, des piles standard (carbone-zinc), des batteries rechargeables (nickel-cadmium).

• Ne pas recharger les piles ni tenter de les ouvrir. Ne pas jeter les piles au feu.

• Remplacer toutes les piles en même temps par des piles neuves identiques entre elles.

• Retirer les piles en cas de non-utilisation prolongée.

• Si le liquide qui sort de la pile entre en contact avec les yeux ou la peau, laver la zone atteinte immédiatement et minutieusement à l’eau claire et consulter un médecin.

• Ne pas exposer les piles à une chaleur excessive telle que rayon solaire, feu ou assimilé.

ATTENTION : Danger d’explosion si les piles ne sont pas placées correctement.

INSTALLATION

• Placer l’appareil sur une surface plane, rigide et stable. Laisser un espace d’au moins 10 cm à l’arrière, sur le dessus et sur les côtés de l’appareil, pour ne pas obstruer les orices

d’aération, et pour ainsi éviter de déformer la qualité du son.

Connexion de l’antenne FM

• Utiliser l’antenne fourni.

• Si la réception est mauvaise, connecter une antenne externe.

Note : Pour éviter les paristes, ne pas positionner les haut-parleurs trop près de l’appareil.

MODE SOMMEIL (SLEEP)

En mode lecture

• Presser SLEEP successivement pour choisir la durée: 120, 105, 90, 75, 60, 45, 30, 15 minutes ou SLEEP OFF.

• L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement à la n du délai choisi.

Note : Il est possible de visualiser le temps restant en pressant sur SLEEP.

REGLAGE DU VOLUME Presser VOL + / - pour régler le volume sonore.

REGLAGE DES BASSES

En cours d’écoute, presser S-BASS pour activer ou désactiver les basses. Lorsque S-BASS est activée, [BASS] s’afche à l’écran.

Connexion des haut-parleurs

• Ouvrir le volet de la prise.

• Insérer la partie du l complètement dénudée.

• Insérer les ls de l’enceinte droite à «R» et ceux de l’enceinte gauche à «L».

• Brancher les sur les bornes correspondantes rouges «+» et noirs «-».

• Fermer le volet de la prise.

UTILISATION

ALIMENTATION SECTEUR Attention :

• Risque d’endommagement du produit! S’assurer que la tension d’alimentation corresponde bien à la tension indiquée sur l’appareil.

• Avant de brancher le câble d’alimentation, vérier que toutes les connexions soient faites.

Connecter le câble d’alimentation la che de l’appareil, puis à la prise murale.

ACTIVER OU DÉSACTIVER

Presser q pour mettre l’appareil en marche ou veille. Note :

• En mode marche, si aucune opération n’est effectuée pendant 15 minutes, l’appareil se

met automatiquement en mode veille.

UTILISATION DE LA RADIO

• Presser FUNCTION sur l’appareil ou FM sur la télécommande pour sélectionner la fonction « TUNER ».

• Régler la radio sur la station désirée à l’aide des touches 5 et 6 : la fréquence s’afche sur l’écran LCD.

• Presser 5 et 6 2 secondes pour faire déler les fréquences, puis relâcher pour

déclencher la recherche automatique : la réception s’arrêtera alors automatiquement sur

la station captée la plus proche.

Note : Pour une meilleure réception, déployer l’antenne FM située à l’arrière de l’appareil.

PROGRAMMATION DES STATIONS DE RADIO

Programmation manuelle :

• Sélectionner une station à mémoriser.

• Presser PROG sur la télécommande : le mode programme (P- 01) s’afche.

• Presser 7 et 8 pour sélectionner un numéro de programme.

• Presser PROG, pour mémoriser chaque station (20 maximum).

Programmation automatique : Presser PROG durant 3s : la programmation se lance automatiquement et mémorise les stations captées.

Accès aux stations mémorisées :

• Presser 7 et 8 pour accéder aux stations mémorisées.

FONCTION RDS

La fonction RDS (Radio Data System) permet d’afcher des informations complémentaires

selon les stations. Pour accéder à ces fonctions, presser successivement DISPLAY de la télécommande, cellesci apparaissent dans l’ordre suivant :

• PTY (Program Type) : indique le type de programme diffusé parmi 32 types prédénis

• RT (Radio Text) : afche les références des musiques diffusées (titre, nom de l’artiste).

• CT (Clock Time) : afche l’heure communiquée par la station et règle l’heure de l’appareil.

Synchroniser l’horloge avec le RDS

Pour syntoniser une station de radio RDS qui transmet des signaux de temps :

• Presser sur DISPLAY pendant plus de 2 secondes.

• [CT SYNC] est afché et l’appareil lit l’heure RDS automatiquement.

• Si aucun signal horaire a été reçu, [NO CT] est afchée.

Note:

La précision de l’heure transmise dépend de la station RDS qui transmet le signal de temps.

UTILISATION

REGLAGE DE L’HORLOGE

En mode veille :

• Presser et maintenir durant 2 secondes CLOCK.

• Presser 7/8 ou VOL +/– pour passer en mode 12 ou 24H.

• Presser CLOCK pour valider : l’afchage de l’heure clignote.

• Régler l’heure à l’aide des touches 7/8 ou VOL +/–. Presser CLOCK pour valider.

• Répéter l’opération précédente pour le réglage des minutes.

REGLAGE DE L’ALARME

En mode veille :

• Presser et maintenir durant 2 secondes TIMER.

• Presser 7/8 ou VOL +/– pour sélectionner TUNER ou USB comme source d’alarme.

• Presser TIMER pour valider : l’afchage de l’heure clignote.

• Régler l’heure à l’aide des touches 7/8 ou VOL +/–. Presser TIMER pour valider.

• Répéter l’opération précédente pour le réglage des minutes.

• Presser 7/8 ou VOL +/– pour ajuster le volume.

• Le symbole s’afche à l’écran.

ACTIVER / DÉSACTIVER L’ALARME.

En mode veille,

• Presser TIMER successivement : le symbole s’afche à l’écran ou disparaît selon si l’alarme est activée ou non.

Note:

• Si la source USB est sélectionnée, mais aucun périphérique USB n’est connecté, l’appareil passe en mode FM automatiquement.

En cours d’écoute, presser LOUDNESS pour activer ou désactiver le contrôle de niveau sonore.

MODE SILENCE En cours d’écoute, presser MUTE pour couper ou rétablir le son.

Presser DIM sur la télécommande pour modier la luminosité de l’écran LCD.

EGALISEUR Presser successivement P-EQ pour ajuster le rendu sonore en fonction du type de musique :

L’appareil est muni d’un port USB (9) pour la lecture de chiers musicaux (MP3) contenus sur une clé USB.

• Brancher une clé USB sur le port USB (9) du lecteur.

• Presser successivement FUNCTION sur l’appareil ou USB sur la télécommande pour

sélectionner «USB».

• Presser sur ALB + / - pour sélectionner un dossier.

• Presser sur 12 pour démarrer la lecture ou mettre en pause.

• Presser sur 7 / 8 pour passer au chier précédent / suivant.

• Presser sur 3 pour arrêter la lecture.

Lecture répétée ou aléatoire Durant la lecture, presser successivement sur MODE pour sélectionner une option de lecture :

• [REP TRK] : répétition d’une piste.

• [REP ALB] : répétition du dossier (uniquement chiers MP3).

• [REP TRK] + [REP ALB] : répétition de toutes les pistes.

• [SHUFFLE] : lecture de façon aléatoire.

• [REPEAT OFF] : arrêt répétition.

Fonction REPEAT A-B

Cette fonction permet de répéter une séquence.

• Durant la lecture, presser sur A-B pour créer un point de départ.

• Puis presser de nouveau sur A-B pour dénir le point nal.

La section A-B sélectionnée est répetée à l’inni.

• Pour annuler la lecture répétée, presser sur A-B à nouveau.

Note:

La section A et B ne peut être utilisée que sur la même piste.

Remarque :

• Ne pas retirer la clé USB lorsque les chiers sont en cours de lecture, au risque de les

endommager.

• Il est recommandé de sauvegarder le contenu de la clé pour éviter les pertes de données.

• ATTENTION : Capacité maximum 32 GB. Le lecteur ne prend pas en charge tous les

dispositifs USB (par ex. disque dur externe, …).

ID3 (Identiant métadonnées)

Lors de l’écoute d’un chier MP3 via USB : Presser DISPLAY sur la télécommande pour afcher les informations de la piste : titre, artiste, album (si les données ont été renseignées dans le chier).

SPECIFICATIONS TECHNIQUES

FONCTION BLUETOOTH

Cet appareil peut recevoir un signal stéréo audio à partir d’un périphérique source audio

Bluetooth. Vérier dans la notice d’utilisation du périphérique que le prol de distribution A2DP

est pris en charge pour une compatibilité parfaite.

• Allumer l’appareil, puis sélectionner le mode BLUETOOTH en pressant FUNCTION sur l’appareil ou sur la télécommande : le voyant (2) clignote en cours de recherche.

• Activer la fonction Bluetooth du périphérique et rechercher l’appareil MIC302UB THOMSON. Valider le prol trouvé pour synchroniser les deux appareils.

• Entrer le mot de passe par défaut «0000» si nécessaire.

• Lorsque le couplage est réussi, l’indicateur Bluetooth (2), s’arrête de clignoter puis reste xe.

• Utiliser les commandes en façade de l’appareil, de la télécommande, ou bien du

périphérique Bluetooth pour contrôler la lecture.

Note : Les étapes de connexions Bluetooth ci-dessus sont uniquement utilisées comme référence. Consulter le manuel d’utilisation du périphérique Bluetooth pour plus de précisions.

DECONNEXION/RECONNEXION A L’APPAREIL AUDIO BLUETOOTH SOURCE

• Presser 12 sur l’appareil ou la télécommande pour mettre en pause le périphérique Bluetooth.

• Presser et maintenir durant 2 secondes 3 sur l’appareil ou la télécommande pour déconnecter le périphérique Bluetooth.

Note : Il n’est pas possible de connecter simultanément deux périphériques audio Bluetooth au MIC302UB THOMSON. Il faut déconnecter au préalable la fonction Bluetooth du périphérique associé, puis faire une nouvelle recherche du périphérique Bluetooth à synchroniser.

Connexion d’un appareil externe (Lecteur MP3, smartphone, lecteur de CD portable, etc…)

L’entrée MP3 Connect permet d’écouter une source audio externe :

• Brancher un câble audio 3.5/3.5mm (non fourni) à l’entrée MP3 Connect à l’arrière de

l’appareil puis à la prise casque d’un périphérique audio externe.

• Presser sur q pour allumer l’appareil.

• Presser successivement FUNCTION sur l’appareil ou MP3 Link sur la télécommande pour sélectionner le mode MP3 Link.

• Lancer la musique depuis le périphérique externe.

Connexion d’un appareil auxiliaire L’entrée AUX IN permet aussi d’écouter une source audio externe :

• Brancher un câble audio RCA/RCA (rouge/blanc non fourni) à l’entrée AUX IN de l’appareil puis à un périphérique audio externe.

• Presser sur q pour allumer l’appareil.

• Presser successivement FUNCTION sur l’appareil ou AUX sur la télécommande pour sélectionner le mode AUX IN.

• Lancer la musique depuis le périphérique externe.

En cas de problème avec l’appareil et avant toute demande de réparation, vérier les cas suivants :

DEPANNAGE ET ENTRETIEN

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

• Débrancher l’appareil avant de le nettoyer.

• Oter les traces de doigt et de poussière à l’aide d’un chiffon doux légèrement humide. Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs ou de dissolvants susceptibles d’endommager la surface de

l’appareil.

ATTENTION : Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans quelque liquide que ce soit.

• En cas de non-utilisation prolongée, débrancher l’appareil et retirer les piles.

Problèmes Causes Solutions

L’unité ne s’allume pas • Le cordon d’alimentation est débranché. • Brancher correctement le cordon d’alimentation sur la prise secteur de l’appareil.

Absence de son • L’équipement de la source externe est hors tension. • Placer l’équipement de la source externe sous tension.

La télécommande ne fonctionne pas

correctement.

• La télécommande n’est pas dirigée vers le capteur de l’appareil.

• La télécommande n’active pas l’appareil.

• Il y a un obstacle entre la télécommande et l’appareil.

• La pile de la télécommande est usée.

• Diriger la télécommande vers le capteur de l’appareil.

• La télécommande a une portée efcace jusqu’à 5 mètres ou l’angle de visée n’est pas

adapté.

• Retirer l’objet.

• Remplacer la pile usagée.

Le son de la radio est déformé

• La station n’est pas réglée.

• Il y a un mauvais signal dans la région

• Ajuster la station.

• Repositionner l’antenne.

Pas de son radio. • L’unité n’est pas en mode tuner.

• Le volume a été désactivé ou est sur le réglage minimum

• Presser SOURCE jusqu’à arriver en mode TUNER.

• Régler le niveau du volume ou presser MUTE pour réactiver le son.

Pas de son en mode

Bluetooth

• Le périphérique Bluetooth n’est pas synchronisé avec l’unité.

• Le volume a été désactivé ou est sur le réglage minimum.

• Suivre les instructions pour synchroniser l’appareil Bluetooth à l’unité.

• Régler le niveau du volume ou presser sur MUTE pour réactiver le son.

REMOTE CONTROL

Insertion (lithium battery)

Replace with button cell type battery.

The battery generally lasts for around one year.

Replace the battery if the remote does not work on the device when it is being used in normal circumstances.

Button cell type batter (lithium battery)

• Unscrew the screw on the back of the remote.

• Pull the tab to take out the battery holder if the battery is being used for the rst time, then

take out the battery compartment in the back of the remote.

• Insert one 3V micro lithium battery, type CR.2025. Be sure to make the polarity match.

• Close the battery compartment.

• Screw the screw back into the underside of the remote.

INFORMATION ABOUT BATTERIES

• The appliance must be equipped with the appropriate batteries in order to function

properly.

• Only recommended batteries should be used.

• Polarity must be respected when inserting batteries.

• The batteries should be inserted in such a way as to avoid any short circuit.

• Do not mix used and new batteries.

• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) and rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

• Do not recharge or try to open the batteries. Do not throw the batteries in re.

USE

INSTALLATION

• Place the device on a at, rigid and stable surface. Leave at least 10 cm of space behind,

above and either side of the device to avoid obstructing the air vents or distorting the sound quality.

FM antenna connection

• Use the antenna provided.

• If the reception is bad, connect an external antenna.

Note: To avoid interference, do not position the speakers too close the device.

• Press SLEEP repeatedly to select duration: 120, 105, 90, 75, 60, 45, 30, 15 minutes or SLEEP OFF.

• The device turns automatically off when the time set has elapsed.

Note: You can see how much time remains by pressing SLEEP.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME Press VOL + / - to adjust the volume.

ADJUSTING THE BASS

Whilst the sound is playing, press S-BASS to activate or deactivate the bass. When the S-BASS is activated, [BASS] appears on the screen.

Connecting the speakers

• Open the socket cover.

• Insert the earth plug.

• Insert the ex for the right speaker at the point marked “R” and the ex for the left speaker at the point marked “L”.

• Plug them into the corresponding battery terminals: red for “+” and black for “-”.

• Close the socket cover.

MAINS POWER SUPPLY

Caution:

• Risk of damaging the product! Make sure that the input voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the device.

• Before plugging in the power cable, check that everything is connected as required.

Connect the power cable and the power plug, then plug into the wall.

Activate or deactivate

Press q to switch on the device or put it in standby mode.

Note:

• When the device is turned on, if it is not used for 15 minutes, it automatically switches

onto standby mode.

USE

USING THE RADIO

• Press FUNCTION on the device or FM on the remote to select TUNER function.

• Set the radio to the desired station using the 5 and 6 buttons: the frequency is displayed on the LCD screen.

• Press 5 and 6 for 2 seconds to show all the frequencies, then release to start automatic scanning: the search will automatically stop when the radio picks up the nearest station.

Note: to improve reception, use the FM antenna at the back of the device.

PROGRAMMING RADIO STATIONS

Manual programming:

• Select the station you wish to save.

• Press PROG on the remote: the program mode (P- 01) will be displayed.

• Press 7 and 8 to select a program number.

• Press PROG to memorise each station (maximum 20).

Automatic programming:

Press PROG for 3 seconds: the programming starts automatically and saves the stations picked up by the radio.

Accessing the saved stations:

• Press 7 and 8 to see memorised stations.

RDS FUNCTION

RDS function (Radio Data System) displays extra information for certain stations.

To use these functions, press DISPLAY repeatedly on the remote. The functions appear in the

following order:

• PTY (Program Type): indicates the type of programmed broadcast out of 32 predened

types

• CT (Clock Time): displays the time according to the station and sets the time on the

device.

• RT (Radio Text): displays information on the music being played (title, artist’s name).

Synchronize the clock with the RDS.

To tune an RDS radio station that transmits time signals:

• Press DISPLAY for more than 2 seconds.

• [CT SYNC] appears and the device automatically reads the RDS time.

• If no time signal is received, [NO CT] appears.

Note:

The exactitude of the time broadcast depends on the RDS station that is transmitting the

signal.

SETTING THE CLOCK

In stand-by mode:

• Press CLOCK and hold it down for 2 seconds.

• Press 7/8 or VOL +/– to go into 12-hour or 24-hour clock modes.

• Press CLOCK to conrm: the hour display ashes.

• Adjust the hour using the 7 8 keys or VOL +/–. Press CLOCK to conrm.

• Repeat the above process to set the minutes.

SET THE ALARM

In stand-by mode:

• Press and hold TIMER for two seconds.

• Press 7 / 8 or VOL +/– to select TUNER or USB as alarm source.

• Press TIMER to conrm: the hour display ashes.

• Adjust the hour using the 7 / 8 keys or VOL +/–. Press TIMER to conrm.

• Repeat the above process to set the minutes.

• Press 7 / 8 or VOL +/– to adjust the volume.

• The symbol appears on the screen.

ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE THE ALARM.

In stand-by mode,

• Press TIMER repeatedly: the symbol appears on screen, or disappears depending on whether the alarm is activated or not.

• If the USB source is selected, but no USB device is connected, the device automatically switches into FM.

The device is equipped with a USB port (9) to play music les (MP3) stored on a USB stick.

• Put a USB stick in the USB port (9) of the player.

• Press FUNCTION repeatedly on the device or USB on the remote to select “USB”.

• Press ALB + / - to select a le.

• Press12 to start playing or to pause.

• Press 7 / 8 to move to the previous / following le.

• Press 3 to stop playing.

Play again or shufe

Whilst music is playing, press MODE repeatedly to select the play option:

• [REP TRK]: repeats one track.

• [REP ALB]: repeat folder (MP3 les only).

• [REP TRK] + [REP ALB]: repeats all tracks.

• [SHUFFLE]: randomly selects tracks to play.

• [REPEAT OFF]: stops repeat mode.

Function REPEAT A-B

This function allows users to repeat a sequence.

• Whilst music is playing, press A-B to create a start point.

• Then press A-B again to indicate the end point.

The A-B section selected is repeated on a loop.

• To stop repeated plays, press A-B again.

NB:

The A and B section can only be used on the same track.

Note:

• Do not remove the USB key whilst les are being read, as this might damage them.

• We recommend saving the contents of the USB stick to avoid the loss of data.

• CAUTION: Maximum capacity: 32 GB. The player is not compatible with all USB devices (eg. external hard discs, etc.).

ID3 (metadata identication)

When you are listening to an MP3 le via a USB:

Press DISPLAY on the remote to display track information: title, artist, album (if the data was

recorded in the le).

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

BLUETOOTHFUNCTION

This device is capable of receiving a stereo audio signal from a Bluetooth audio source device. Check the auxiliary device’s instruction manual to make sure that the A2DP distribution prole is supported.

• Turn on the device, then select BLUETOOTH mode by pressing FUNCTION on the device or on the remote: the indicator light (2) ashes when scanning is underway.

• Activate the auxiliary device’s Bluetooth function and scan the MIC302UB THOMSON device. Conrm the prole found to synchronize the two devices.

• Enter the default password “0000” if necessary.

• Once the connection has been made, the Bluetooth (2) indicator stops ashing and stays steady.

• Use the controls on the front of the device, remote, or Bluetooth device to use the functions.

Note: the above steps for Bluetooth connection are intended for reference purposes only. Please refer to the instruction manual of the Bluetooth device for more details.

DISCONNECTION/RECONNECTON TO THE BLUETOOTH AUDIO SOURCE

• Press 12 on the device or remote to pause the Bluetooth device.

• Press and hold the number 3 for 2 seconds on the device or the remote to disconnect the Bluetooth device.

Note: You cannot connect two Bluetooth audio devices to the MIC302UB THOMSON device simultaneously. The Bluetooth function of the connected device must be disconnected before

a new search for the new Bluetooth device that you want to synchronize is conducted.

CONNECTING

Connecting an external device (MP3 player, Smartphone, portable CD player, etc)

The MP3 Connect input allows users to listen to an external audio source:

• Plug a 3.5/3.5 mm audio cable (not included) into the MP3 Connect input on the back of

the device, then into the headset input of an external auxiliary audio device.

• Press q to turn on the device.

• Press FUNCTION on the device or MP3 Link on the remote until you can select MP3 Link mode.

• Play music from the external peripheral device.

Connecting an auxiliary device

AUX IN input also allows users to listen to an external audio source:

• Plug an RCA/RCA audio cable (red/white not included) into the device’s AUX IN input, then an external audio periphery device.

• Press q to turn on the device.

• Press FUNCTION on the device or AUX on the remote until you can select AUX IN mode.

• Play music from the external peripheral device.

Consult the following table if there is a problem with the appliance.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Unplug the appliance before cleaning it.

• Remove ngerprints and dust with a soft and slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or solvents that may damage the appliance’s surface.

ATTENTION: Never immerse the appliance in water or in any liquid whatsoever.

• If it is not used for a long time, unplug the appliance and remove the batteries.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE

Problem Causes Solutions

The equipment will not turn on.

• The power cable is not plugged in. • Plug the power cable into the correct socket in the device.

There is no sound • The external source is not switched on. • Turn the external source on.

The remote does not

work correctly.

• The remote is not pointing towards the sensor on the

• Point the remote towards the device’s sensor.

an angle that does not work.

The radio’s sound

quality is distorted.

• The station has not been tuned in correctly.

• You are in an area with poor signal reception

• Adjust the station’s tuning.

• Reposition the antenna.

The radio has no sound. • The radio is not in tuner mode.

• The volume has been turned off or is at its lowest.

• Press SOURCE until you reach TUNER mode.

• Adjust the volume level or press MUTE to turn the sound back on.

There is no sound in Bluetooth mode.

• The Bluetooth device is not in synch with the radio.

• The volume has been turned off or is at its lowest.

• Follow the instructions to synchronise the Bluetooth device with the radio.

• Adjust the volume level or press MUTE to turn the sound back on.
