Alarms

The Red Alarm Symbol will illuminate in the following two
conditions:

• high or low pressure switches are off longer than 10 minutes

• high or low pressure switches are off 5 times per 10 minutes
(flash on and off).

In both cases, the unit will switch to the Ventilation mode.
The Yellow Alarm Symbol will illuminate in case of temperature

sensors failure.
Yellow Alarm number will be shown on the display for 5 seconds.
Red Alarm number will stay on the display till any button is pushed.
To restart the unit, press twice the key ON/OFF (1) to switch OFF

and ON the unit.

Warranty Instructions

Should you require warranty service during the warranty period,
simply present your copy of the Warranty Certificate at any of the
dealer locations shown in the Thermo King Service Directory. T erms
of the complete Thermo King Corporation Warranty are available on
request.

ATTENTION: If the alarm comes up again, don’t
restart and see your nearest dealer for service.

CAUTION: The unit can automatically start and run
anytime the ignition key is in the ON or OFF position.
No matter if the ON/OFF switch is ON or OFF
(depends on setup program).

Operating Instructions

Turn the system ON by pressing key ON/OFF (1).
Use the keys MODE (2), DOWN and UP (3), SPEED (4) and AIR

MODE (5) to adjust the system. By pressing the selection key you
select one of the options in the same group.

In Auto Mode all functions are controlled by the ClimaAIRE I D
controller automatically according to the required setpoint.

Turn the system OFF by pressing key ON/OFF (1).

(1) ON/OFF KEY
To turn the unit ON, press the key. The display will show the

setpoint temperature.

To turn the unit OFF, press the key again.

(2) MODE SELECTION KEY
Reheat / Auto Mode: The unit will cool or heat the bus

automatically (according to thermostat requirements).

A/C Mode: The unit will operate in cool mode.

Heat Mode: The unit will operate in heat mode.

Ventilation Mode: Only the blowers are operating.

(3) DOWN AND UP KEYS

The down key will decrease temperature setpoint. The up key
will increase temperature setpoint. The down and up keys are
also used to scroll through the menu selection.

(4) BLOWER SPEED SELECTION KEY
Automatic Blower Speed: The blowers are controlled

automatically depending on the thermostat setpoint and
passenger compartment conditions.

High Blower Speed.
Medium Blower Speed.
Low Blower Speed.

(5) FRESH OR RECIRCULATED AIR SELECTION KEY
Automatic: Fresh air is automatically controlled in passenger

compartment.

Fresh Air damper is open.
Fresh Air damper is open at 50%.
Recirculated Air: Fresh air damper is closed.

DISPLAY

Display shows the setpoint temperature.
“Bus” - return air temperature symbol.
“S” - setpoint temperature symbol.
Blue symbol - clutch is switched on.
Red symbol - boost pump is switched on.
