Before you start
If you want to dispose of this product, do not mix it with general household waste. There is a separate collection system for used electronic products in accordance with legislation that requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling.
Please contact your local authorities for the correct method of disposal. By doing so, you will ensure that your disposed product undergoes the necessary treatment, recovery and recycling and thus prevent potential negative effects on the environment and human health.
Utilization of the product
Important safeguards
• Please unplug the power cord from the AC outlet and contact a service center for repair if following occurs: any obvious abnormality appears in the unit, such as smoky, peculiar smell or strange sound; liquid has been spilled or other objects have fallen into the unit; no picture or sound; cover or panel is broken; although you have operated the unit following the operating instructions, it still cannot work normally.
• This unit can be connected to a power supply outlet without the third ground contact as well as with a ground contact.
• Always disconnect the power cord and antenna during a storm.
• Do not fix the power cord with a metal nail.
• Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet; also unplug the signal cables from the input ports when the unit is unused for long periods of time.
• When unplugging the plug, always hold the wide slot, do not touch the metal part, and do not destroy, twist, pull or roast the power cord.
• Please contact the service center immediately if you found that the core is showed in the air or has been broken.
• Please replace the AC outlet if the metal bolt cannot be inserted into the power socket completely or it cannot be fastened even when it was pushed in, otherwise, any accidents of shocks and fires would happen.
• Never touch the antenna lie or power plug
if it stars to thunder.
• Do not touch the power plug with wet
hands.
• Do not use any non-rated power socket with numerous devices jointed on one power socket or cable device. The wire of non­designated capacity may cause the fire due to the generation of heat.
• All instructions must be read and understood well before you operate the unit. Heed all warnings and follow all instructions.
• Please use the accessories provided by the manufacturer. Using inadequate accessories may result in accidents.
• Please adjust the product through the panel buttons or the remote controller, do not remove the cover or attempt to service the product by yourself. Do not disassemble back cover and do not make maintenance by yourself to avoid the electric shock.
• Over-press the panel may destroy the product.
• Do not place the product on an unstable cart, stand surface, tripod, bracket, or table. The product may fall, causing serious accidents as well as the damage to the product.
• Please place the product on a flat surface in a well-ventilated location. Keep it away from the burning-light, direct sunlight, vibration, high-temperature and humidity.
• Do not place any vase, potted plant, cup, medicine and any container with water on this

product. If the liquid is spilt, it may cause the fire, electric shock or breakdown.
• Do not install it at the place on the strong magnetic field or current field. It may cause break down. This equipment may be observed deterioration of the picture by electromagnetic radiation in electromagnetic environment.
• Fasten the wheel of the product or shelf with wheels when installing this product. If it moves or is tipped over, it may be damaged.
• Do not place any fire source such as candlelight close to this product or place it on this product. If it is tipped over or fallen down, it may cause damage or fire.
• Do not place the unit into closed space of TV for better ventilation; it can reduce the product lifetime. Keep a space at least 10 cm at above, left, and right of the TV.
• Please place all the signal cords behind of rear panel.
• Do not overexert or touch the panel when you convey the product. Do not transfer the LED TV up or down display direction.
• Do not transport it with the power cord or the connection cable connected. If you move this product with the power cord or the connection cable connected, damaged power cord, connection cable or connection terminal may cause fire, electric shock or breakdown.
• 2 persons or more shall transport the device, which is heavier than 18 kg. If you drop or tip over the device, it may damage it.
• The temperature of the product’s body becomes a little higher after a long period use. This phenomenon indicates that heat exchange in normal working mode, thus please do not let children or anyone who is sensitive of temperature to touch.

Installation
Base instalation
Place the LED TV on a solid flat surface. Use soft material to place over the front screen to avoid any damage. Then put the slits of the stand onto the fixing elements in the lower part of the unit until a click and fix the two parts by four screws as shown above.
Wall mounting
For wall mounting the back panel of this unit is equipped with 4 screw holes (4 mm diameter, 100 mm horizontal and vertical spread distance). A VESA wall-mount bracket should be used for wall mounting (the bracket is not included and should be acquired separately). Manufacturer is not responsible for improper mounting resulting in damage of the unit.
Wall or ceiling mounting implements must be durable and sufficient enough to support the weight of the unit.

Connection
Outdoor Antenna Connection
Use 75Ω coaxial cable plug or 300-75Ω impedance converter to plug in antenna input terminal on the rear of the cabinet.
Other connections
• Connect the audio and video sources (Including DVD, VCDR, CAMCORDER and etc.) to the AV input using the AV cable.
• Component input YPbPr is intended to receive component video signal from the external device. Connection is made with the help of a special component cable. To receive audio signal for component video, please use the AV input.
Component and AV inputs cannot be used at the same time as they share one audio channel.
• Plug the power cable in the electric outlet,
making sure the current voltage is supported.
• When using the LED as a computer screen, connect the PC to the VGA jack from the monitor using the proper cable (not included).
• This unit has PC audio in jack. Connect this jack to PC main unit with a proper audio cable in PC mode and adjust the volume to what you want.
• If the video source has a HDMI output jack, you can connect the signal to the monitor by the HDMI cable (not included).
• Connect an external device (e.g., VCR-/ DVD-recorder) to the proper Audio/Video output jacks of this unit with AV RCA cable.
• Digital audio output is intended for transmitting multi-channel sound to an external decoder (e.g. in 5.1-CH format). Coaxial cable should be used for connection.
• PCMCIA slot is used for CI modules that are obtained from your digital TV provider.

Changing the battery
1. Remove the battery compartment cover
on the back of the RC.
2. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment making sure that the correct polarity is observed.
3. Install the cover back.

• Use two AAA batteries for the RC. The RC should be pointed at remote sensor within 8 meters and within 30 degrees at the left or the right side.
• Take the battery out of the RC if it is not used for a long time.
• Do not mix new and used batteries or different types of batteries. Weak batteries can leak and severely damage the RC.
• Do not expose the RC to shock, liquids, and do not place it in an area with high
humidity.

Power
• Connect the plug of the power cord to the power supply outlet, the power indicator will flash showing that the unit is in standby mode. To switch on the unit, press POWER button on the panel or on the RC; the indicator will light up. Press POWER button again to switch the unit to the standby mode. To switch off the unit completely, disconnect the power cord plug from the power supply outlet.
• Do not leave your TV in standby mode for a long period of time; if you are not going to use the unit, disconnect it from power supply.
• In TV mode the unit will automatically go to standby mode if no signal for 5 minutes. In PC mode the unit will automatically go to standby mode if no signal for 30 seconds.
Operations
• Press VOL- button repeatedly to decrease the volume; press VOL+ button repeatedly to increase the volume.
• Press to mute sound, press this button again or increase volume to resume sound.
• Press AUDIO button in TV mode repeatedly to switch between DUAL I/ DUAL II/ DUAL I+II/Mono/Stereo sound modes (can be unavailable for some channels). In DTV mode press the button to switch audio languages.
• Press repeatedly SOURCE button on the unit or on the RC, then press UP/DOWN cursor buttons to cycle through the available signal source options.
• Select the TV function mode. Press CH-/CH+ buttons to select previous or next channels; or press number buttons to enter a channel number directly.
• Press RETURN ( ) button on the RC to select from the present channel and the previously displayed channel.
• Press LIST button to display the Channel List. Use UP/DOWN to select, CH+/CH- to scroll through the channel list.
• Press FAV button to display the Favourite
channel list in TV mode (you should setup your favourite channels in Program Edit menu).
• Press INFO button to display the preset
TV channel play information.
• Press ZOOM button repeatedly to select from a list of supported aspect ratios. The set of available aspects can vary depending on the current signal source.
• Press EPG to launch the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) in DTV mode.
• Press TIMESHIFT to enable the Time Shift function in DTV mode.
Teletext operations (option)
Select a TV channel in order to pick up the picture signal of Teletext. Teletext button functions are as follows:
TEXT ( ): Press this button to enter into TEXT mode. Press this button again to enter mixed mode. Press the button again to return to the channel you are watching.
HOLD ( ): Press this button to stop the move to the next page. Press this button again to cancel operation.
INDEX ( ): Press this button to go to the index page.
SIZE ( ): Press this button to enlarge the top part of the page. Press this button again to enlarge the bottom part of the page. Press this button third time to normal size text page view.
REVEAL ( ): Press this button to reveal the cancelled information. Press this button again to cancel the information.
SUBPAGE ( ): Press this button to select sub-page. Input the number of sub-page and use numeric buttons in the format 0001 for sub page 1. The teletext will search for the sub page. Press SUBPAGE button again to exit the subpage mode.
CANCEL ( ): Press this button to cancel the teletext; press again to show the teletext.
Red/Green/Yellow/Blue buttons: Press these 4 color buttons to access directly to corresponding color page displayed at the lower parts of teletext screen.

OSD operation
1. Press MENU button to enter the setting
menu displayed on the screen.
2. Press LEFT/RIGHT cursor buttons on the RC or VOL+/- buttons on the panel to select setting page; press ENTER button on the RC or SOURCE button on the panel to confirm.
3. Press UP/DOWN cursor buttons on the RC or CH+/- buttons on the panel to select a parameter to adjust.
4. Press cursor buttons on the RC or VOL+/­or CH+/- buttons on the panel to adjust the selected parameter.
5. Press MENU button to return to the previous menu page. Press EXIT button on the RC to quit the menu.
Some menu items may be in grey color, in this case they are not adjustable. Pictures of OSD menu are for reference only; they may differ from the real screens.

Brightness/Contrast/Sharpness/Color/
Tint: Press UP/DOWN to select the option, LEFT/RIGHT to adjust.
Brightness: adjust the picture brightness. Contrast: adjust the highlight intensity of the
picture.
Sharpness: adjust the peak level of detail in
the picture.
Color: adjust color intensity. Tint: use to compensate color in NTSC
transmission.
Color Temp: change the overall color
temperature of the picture:
Standard: Default vivid color temp. Cool: gentle blue-hued image. Warm: bright red-hued image. User: user-adjusted image.
Aspect Ratio: select the screen aspect
ratio.
NR: Digital noise reduction effect for
reducing the video noise level: Off/Low/Middle/ High.
Backlight: to control the brightness of the
screen, adjust the brightness of panel.
Energy Saving: Energy Saving can be
adjusted when the Picture Mode is set to Home. Switch the Energy Saving On or Off.
PC Setup (In PC mode): Press the ENTER
button to access the submenu.
Auto Adjust: Adjust the image automatically. H Position: Centre the image by moving it
left or right.
V Position: Centre the image by moving it up
or down.
Phase: Minimize horizontal distortion. Clock: Minimize vertical stripes in the screen
image.

Bass/Treble/Balance: Press UP/DOWN to
select the option, LEFT/RIGHT to adjust.
Bass: adjust the bass effect to increase or
decrease low-pitched sounds.
Treble: adjust the treble effect to increase or
decrease high-pitched sounds.
Balance: adjust the balance between left and right speakers to adapt to your listening position.
Surround: toggle the surround sound
effect on/off.
AVL: toggle auto-volume control on/off.
Volume automatically remains on the same level of volume if you change programmes. Because each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, volume adjustment may be needed every time when the channel is changed. This feature allows users to enjoy stable volume levels by making automatic adjustments for each program
SPDIF: toggle digital sound via coaxial
cable on/off.
AD Switch (In DTV mode): this is an
auxiliary audio function that provides an additional audio track for visually challenged persons. This function handles the Audio Stream for the AD (Audio Description), when it is sent along with the Main audio from the broadcaster.
Press the ENTER button to access the submenu.
When the mode is On, Volume can be adjusted by users.
Audio Delay: correct audio-video sync
problems, when watching DTV and when listening to digital audio output using an external device such as an audio receiver (-200ms~200ms).

Channel Management: enter the channel
editing menu. RED, GREEN, YELLOW and BLUE buttons are used as shortcuts. Select the channel you want to edit with the UP/ DOWN buttons and then press:
RED button to delete the channel. GREEN button to lock the channel. YELLOW button to skip the channel when
browsing with CH+/- buttons.
BLUE button to select the two channels to
be swapped places.
Favorite Management: enter the favorite
channel editing menu. RED, GREEN, YELLOW and BLUE buttons are used to mark channels as “Fav1, Fav2, Fav3 and Fav4, respectively.
Country: use UP/DOWN buttons to select
your country.
Antenna: select an antenna source.
Auto Scan: select this option to
automatically scan for available channels.
ALL: select this option to search for all available digital and analogue channels. You can skip directly to digital scanning or stop the search altogether by pressing EXIT/MENU.
DTV: Search for digital channels only.
ATV: Search for analogue channels only.
DTV Manual Scan: select this option to
scan for available digital channels manually.
First select channel number by pressing ENTER/RIGHT or input the number directly. The strength and quality of the signal will be displayed at the bottom. Select “Start” and press ENTER to start the current channel

Zone set to any time, this item is available to enable daylight saving option or not.

• Auto Sleep: Select the Auto Sleep time
you want.

1st Preferred Subtitle (In DTV mode): Press the UP/DOWN button to select 1st Preferred Subtitle language.
2nd Preferred Subtitle (In DTV mode): Press the UP/DOWN button to select 2nd Preferred Subtitle language.
1st Preferred Audio (In DTV mode): Press the UP/DOWN button to select 1st Preferred Audio language.
2nd Preferred Audio (In DTV mode): Press the UP/DOWN button to select 2nd Preferred Audio language.
DTV Teletext Language: Press the UP/ DOWN button to select Digital Teletext Language.
ATV Teletext Language: Press the UP/ DOWN button to select Analog Teletext Language.
Lock: Press the ENTER button to access
the submenu. Press your password (it is 0000 by default), then you will go the submenu as following.
If you forget your password, the master
password 1225 is still valid.
Lock System: Press the UP/DOWN button to select Lock System On or Off. When the Lock System is On, Parental Guidance can be adjusted by users.
Parental Guidance: Press the UP/DOWN

button to select Parental Guidance. This feature can prevent children watching adult’s TV programmes, according to the rating limit set.
Change Password: Press the ENTER button to access the submenu. You can set your private password. Press the numbers buttons on the remote control to set the new password. If the new password has been input twice, the setting is finished successfully.
• Auto SCART: Press the UP/DOWN button
to select Auto SCART On or Off.
• Blue Screen: Press the UP/DOWN button
to select Blue Screen On or Off.
In the DTV and USB mode are not
available.
• Demo Mode: Press the UP/DOWN button
to select Demo Mode On or Off.
• Hearing Impaired: When hearing Impaired
is on, the TV screen will give some information to the people whose hearing is impaired. When Hearing Impaired is off, the information will be hidden.
In the DTV mode, when the Subtitle Language is not set “off” mode, Hearing Impaired can be adjusted by users.
PVR/TimeShift (In DTV mode): Allows you
to record live broadcast automatically to watch at your convenience. Please see the PVR/ TimeShift function section below for more information.
• HDMI CEC: Press the ENTER button to
access the submenu.
The HDMI CEC system can be used only with devices that have the HDMI CEC feature. You must connect an HDMI CEC device using an HDMI cable. Some HDMI cables may not support HDMI CEC functions.
HDMI CEC: Press the UP/DOWN button to select HDMI CEC On or Off. When the HDMI CEC is on, Auto Power On and Auto Standby can be adjusted by users.
Auto Power On: Press the UP/DOWN button to select Auto Power On or Off. When Auto Power On is enabled, turn the active CEC enabled devices on the HDMI input on, the TV
will power on.
Auto Standby: Press the UP/DOWN button to select Auto Standby On or Off. When the user turns off the TV, all active CEC enabled devices on the HDMI input will go to Standby.
Speaker Preference: Press the UP/DOWN button to select the Speaker Preference: TV Speakers or Amplifier.
Amplifier Support ARC: Press the UP/ DOWN button to select Amplifier Support ARC On or Off. To enable the audio through an AV receiver using HDMI turn this fuction on.
• Default: Restore the system settings to
factory defaults help you to setup the TV from the start.
• Soft Upgrade: Update the TV with the
latest software by USB.
Version: Display the current software
information.
PVR/TimeShift function
This function allows the TV to automatically record live broadcast and make it available for viewing at any time. With the TimeShift turned on, you may rewind regular TV broadcast to view at any time without missing anything.
Press the ENTER button to access the PVR/ TimeShift submenu from the Setup menu. It will check the USB data storage inserted.
Partition List: Select a storage used for PVR. Press red button to format USB storage. Press green button to set default partition.
- Before formatting, please back up all
important files.
- During the device formatting, do not disconnect the device or turn off the power. If your USB device can’t be formatted or fails to be checked by the system, it means the device is not compatible with the TV or is damaged. The larger USB device will take longer time to format, please be patient until the formatting finishes.
Auto Timeshift: Press the UP/DOWN button
to select Auto Timeshift: Off or Auto.
Timeshift Buffer: Press the UP/DOWN
button to select Timeshift buffer: Auto, 30 Min,
