This should be unobstructed and readily operable at all times.

USING THE STAND FITTING BATTERIES
The back panel includes a stand that can be folded down. Pull the stand out and rotate it down until it clicks into the fully open position.
The unit can be powered by batteries for portable operation. To t the batteries:
Slide o the left and 1. right battery covers.
Insert two AAA batteries 2. into each battery holder, observing polarity as shown. Replace both battery 3.

DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES
Dispose of used batteries with regard to the recycling regulations in your area. Do NOT short circuit batteries or throw them into water, the general rubbish or in a re. Weak batteries can leak and damage the remote control. Replace them in good time!
The SP113iPH is a compact iPhone docking station that can be powered from the mains or from batteries for portable operation.
COMPATIBILITY
The SP113iPH is recommended for use with iPhone or iPod touch models. In the text of this user guide, ‘iPhone’ refers to both iPhone and iPod touch models.
PRELIMINARIES INTRODUCTION
UNPACKING
Carefully unpack the unit. If it is damaged, please return it to your nearest Tesco store for replacement. Remember to take your purchase receipt with you. Retain the User Handbook. If you pass the unit on to a third par ty make sure you pass on the handbook. We suggest you retain the packaging. If you dispose of it, do so having regard to any recycling regulations in your area.

Place the unit on dry stable surface away from heat and damp and where it is unlikely to fall or be knocked over.
GETTING STARTED
CONNECTING POWER
Before connecting the power, check that the mains voltage on the rating plate of the AC adaptor is the same as the voltage in your area.
Plug the DC cord from the AC adaptor into • the DC In jack on the side of the unit. Plug the AC adaptor into the wall socket and • switch the mains power on.
The unit is now ready for use.
NOTE:- The AC adaptor may become warm during operation - this is normal.
POWER CONTROL
To turn the docking station on:
Slide the OFF/ON switch to the ON position.•
To turn the docking station o:
Slide the OFF/ON switch to the OFF position.•
CHARGING AN iPhone
When an iPhone is docked it will charge when the unit is connected to mains power. NOTE: The iPhone will continue to charge if the OFF/ON switch is set to OFF.
DOCKING AN iPhone
To dock your iPhone:
Locate the iPhone on the Docking Connector • and press it gently home.
The iPhone is now ready to play.
Playing a docked iPhone:
Unlock the phone.• Use the controls on the iPhone to choose the • tracks you want to play.
To remove your iPhone from the dock:
From behind, gently push the iPhone • forward. From the front, grip the iPhone at the • sides and lift the iPhone from the docking connector.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
To increase the volume
Press and hold the • VOL+ button until the volume increases to the level you want.
To reduce the volume
Press and hold the • VOL+ button until the volume reduces to the level you want.
