 Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten Spannung

übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.

 Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät niemals beim Gebrauch unbeaufsichtigt.

 WICHTIG: Wenn die Absenktaste während des Betriebes blockiert (z.B. wegen zu dicker

Brotscheiben) und das Brot anfängt zu brennen, ziehen Sie sofort den Stecker aus der
Steckdose und lassen Sie es in einem ausreichend belüftetem Raum vollständig abkühlen,
bevor Sie es entleeren und reinigen. Wenn das Problem trotz passender Brotscheiben
anhält, benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, sondern wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann(*).

 Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob die Anschlussleitung nicht beschädigt ist. Bei Beschädigung

der Anschlussleitung oder des Gerätes Letzteres nicht benutzen.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung

angegeben.

 Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ein, weder zum

Reinigen, noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Stellen Sie das Gerät niemals in die
Spülmaschine.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle.
 Eine beschädigte Anschlussleitung sollte von einem Fachmann
 Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
 Für Reparaturen wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann

des Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät herum
oder knicken Sie sie nicht.

 Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Tisch oder auf eine ebene Fläche damit es nicht umfällt.

entflammbarem Material, wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen.
Brandgefahr! Das Gerät sollte mindestens einen Meter von dem leicht entflammbaren
Material entfernt sein.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht zum Auftauen von Nahrung und legen Sie keine

Brotscheiben in das Gerät, die mit Butter bzw. Margarine geschmiert sind oder deren
Dicke das Hochspringen der Brotscheiben verhindert. Beachten Sie diese Vorschriften ins
besondere, da Letztere oft nicht befolgt werden und die Toaster deshalb auch die
Ursache von Wohnungsbränden sein können.

 Entfernen Sie regelmäßig die Brotkrümel aus dem Gerät. Ziehen Sie dazu erst den Stecker

aus der Steckdose. Siehe Abschnitt « Pflege des Toasters und Reinigung ».

 Benutzen Sie beim Reinigen keine Topfkratzer, da dies im Nachhinein zu einem Kurzschluß

führen könnte.

 Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder irgendein anderes, separates

Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.

Verbrennungsgefahr! Die heißen Oberflächen des
Produktes nicht berühren. Während des Betriebes
besteht aufsteigende Hitze über dem Produkt.

ANWENDUNGSBEREICH/TÄTIGKEITSBEREICH

 Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nur wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben. Jeglicher

andere Gebrauch kann zu Schäden am Gerät oder Verletzungen führen.

 Dieses Gerät ist nicht für kommerziellen Gebrauch geeignet. Es ist nur für die Nutzung im

Haushalt und ähnlichen Anwendungen konzipiert, wie beispielsweise:

–in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerblichen Bereichen;
–von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen;
–in Frühstückspensionen;

VOR DEM ERSTEN GEBRAUCH

Um Produktionsreste zu beseitigen, nehmen Sie das Gerät mindestens 2 Mal ohne Brot in
Betrieb. Stellen Sie den Bräunungsregler dabei auf mäßige Leistungsstufe. Es könnte dabei
Rauch entstehen.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG

 Vor der ersten Benutzung kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät sauber ist (siehe Abschnitt

“REINIGUNG”), da es in direktem Kontakt mit dem Brot ist. Kontrollieren Sie auch, ob keine

Gegenstände in die Spalte gefallen sind.

 Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an Schukosteckdosen an.
 Geben Sie die Scheiben Brot in den Schlitz (für Baguette: Schneiden Sie das Baguette so,

dass es in den Längsschlitz hineinpasst). Ihr Gerät ist sowohl für Baguette als auch für Toasts
oder andere Scheiben Brot geeignet.

 Dann drücken Sie die Absenktaste herunter bis zum Einrasten (gleichzeitig schließt sich das

Gitter im Schlitz um das Brot, um es in einer geeigneten Entfernung von der Heizspirale zu
halten). Wenn die Absenktaste nicht einrasten sollte, kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät an die
Stromversorgung angeschlossen ist (die Taste rastet nur bei anliegender Spannung).

 Sie können den Bräunungsgrad regeln, um ein mehr oder weniger gut gerösteten Toast zu

bekommen, indem Sie den Bräunungsregler auf eine der Positionen 1 bis 6 stellen. Dafür
brauchen Sie nur im Uhrzeigersinn zu drehen, um den Grad zu erhöhen und im
Gegenuhrzeigersinn, um den Grad zu verringern. Je höher die Zahl ist, desto mehr erhöht
sich der Bräunungsgrad.

 Der Röstvorgang kann durch Betätigen der Stopp-Taste jederzeit unterbrochen werden.
 Die Taste zum Aufwärmen ermöglicht es, entweder schon geröstetes Brot aufzuwärmen,

oder nicht genug geröstetes Brot eine kurze Zeit lang zu rösten, ohne die
Bräunungsgradregelung zu ändern.

 Die Taste zum Auftauen ermöglicht es, Brot zu rösten, das zuvor gefroren wurde.
 Am Ende des Zyklus entsperrt die Absenktaste und Sie können den Toast entnehmen.
 Nach dem Gebrauch ziehen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das

Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es wegräumen oder bewegen.

 Ein Kabelfach ist auf der unteren Seite Ihres Toasters vorgesehen. Dazu wickeln Sie die

Anschlussleitung um die Befestigungshaken am Boden des Gerätes.

PFLEGE DES TOASTERS UND REINIGUNG

 Vor der Reinigung immer den Stecker ausziehen.
 Eine Krümelschublade an der Unterseite des Gerätes ermöglicht es, die angesammelten

Brotkrümel aus dem Toaster zu entfernen. Um sie zu öffnen, ziehen Sie an der Schublade,
die sich an der unteren Seite des Gerätes befindet. Um sie wieder zu schließen, gehen Sie
umgekehrt vor.

 Achtung! Die Krümelschublade muss regelmäßig entleert werden, da ansonsten zu viele

Krümel brennen könnten und das Gerät könnte demzufolge ebenfalls Feuer fangen.

 Die Außenseite können Sie mit einem sauberen, trockenen oder leicht angefeuchteten

Tuch abwischen.

 TAUCHEN SIE DEN TOASTER NIEMALS IN WASSER ODER ANDERE FLÜSSIGKEITEN EIN.
 Sonstige Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten sind einer offiziellen Kundendienststelle zu

überlassen. Sonst erlischt die Garantie.

UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2012/19/EU

Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.

Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus wird die

der Toaster direkt nach Beendigung des Röstvorganges komplett abschaltet und somit keine
Energie verbraucht!

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the
appliance.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years
old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe
use of the appliance and the risks involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less

 Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.

 Empty the appliance frequently of breadcrumbs. Make sure the appliance is always

unplugged before emptying it. Check the « Cleaning » section.

FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION

 Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these

instructions.

 This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar applications

such as:

BEFORE USING THE TOASTER FOR THE FIRST TIME

In order to eliminate any manufacturing residues, operate the toaster a couple of times without
bread with the browning control selector on a medium power level. Some smoke might
escape.

OPERATION

 Before using your appliance for the first time, check if it is clean (see “Maintenance and

cleaning”) as it comes into direct contact with bread. Check if any object has fallen into

the slot.

 Connect the appliance only to a mains earthed wall socket.
 Place the bread slices in the slot (for French bread, cut a loaf shorter than the slot, then

cut it in two pieces along its length). Your appliance is provided to receive French bread,
but also pieces of toast or other bread slices if their thickness and their length are shorter
than the one of the slot.

 Press down the bread carriage handle until it stops (in the same time, the grid inside the

slot will tighten around the bread in order to keep it away from the heating wires). Then
release the pressure and the handle will stay in the lower position, which means that the

heating process has begun. If the handle comes up immediately, check if the appliance is
plugged in as it blocks when the unit is plugged in.

 You can adjust the browning intensity to obtain a more or less toasted bread by

positioning the browning control selector to one of the degrees marked from 1 to 6.
Therefore you only have to turn clockwise to increase the intensity, and anticlockwise to
decrease it. The higher the number is, the more toasted the bread will be.

 During the functioning, if you think that the bread is toasted enough or for another reason,

you can break the heating process, simply by pressing the cancel button.

 The reheat button allows you to reheat already toasted bread or to toast bread which is

not toasted enough during a short time without modifying the browning degree.

 The defrost button allows you to toast the bread that has been frozen beforehand.
 Always unplug the appliance after use and let it cool down before handling or storing it.
 A cord winder is foreseen on the bottom of the appliance: hooks. When you store your

appliance, wind the cord around the hooks.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

 Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the toaster is unplugged from the

supply socket and fully cooled down.

 To remove bread crumbs slide the crumb tray situated on the side of the appliance.
 Caution! It is very important to empty the crumb tray regularly. Crumbs that have

accumulated in the toaster might burn and the appliance might catch fire.

 Never use sharp objects to clean. Doing so could damage the appliance.
 To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth.
 ON NO ACCOUNT MUST THE TOASTER BE IMMERSED IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
 All other maintenance and repair should be performed by a qualified technician. No

guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been opened or damaged
previously.

PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the

implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing
waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with
the directive.

ErP Declaration – Regulation 1275/2008/EC

We, Team Kalorik Group SA/NV, hereby confirm that our product meets the requirements of
regulation 1275/2008/EC. Our product does not dispose of a standby mode as the toaster
switches off completely immediately after the toasting is finished and as a consequence does
not consume electricity!

 N’utilisez pas cet appareil pour la décongélation d’aliments et n’insérez que des tranches

de pain non-tartinées de quelque matière que ce soit et dont l’épaisseur ne risque pas de
gêner la remontée. Soyez très rigoureux à ce sujet car les grille-pain sont causes de
beaucoup d’incendie suite à un non-respect des élémentaires consignes de sécurité.

 Veillez à vider fréquemment l’appareil de ses miettes de pain. A ce propos, veillez à

Afin d'éliminer tout résidu provenant de la production, faites fonctionner le grille-pain au moins
deux fois à vide (sans pain) avant la première utilisation, en plaçant le bouton du thermostat
sur un niveau de puissance moyen. Une légère fumée pourra alors se dégager.

MODE D’EMPLOI

 Avant d’utiliser votre appareil pour la première fois, vérifiez qu’il est propre (voir

 Branchez votre appareil à une prise de courant équipée d’une borne de terre.
 Placez les tranches de pain dans la fente. Votre appareil est prévu pour recevoir des

toasts ou autres tranches de pain dès lors où l’épaisseur et la longueur entrent dans la
fente.

 Ensuite, baissez la manette d’enclenchement jusqu’à venir en butée (en même temps, la

grille à l’intérieur de la fente se resserrera autour du pain afin de le maintenir éloigné des

fils chauffants). Une fois ceci réalisé, relâchez la pression et elle restera en position basse
signifiant ainsi que la chauffe est en cours. Si la manette remontait immédiatement,

vérifiez que l’appareil est branché car elle se bloque seulement si l’appareil est sous

tension.

 Vous pouvez régler l’intensité de chauffe pour obtenir un pain plus ou moins grillé en

plaçant la manette de réglage d’intensité sur une des positions graduées de 1 à 6. Pour
cela, il vous suffit de la tourner dans le sens horaire pour augmenter l’intensité et dans le

sens inverse pour la diminuer. Plus le chiffre est élevé, plus le pain sera grillé.

 En cours de fonctionnement, si vous estimez que le pain est suffisamment grillé ou pour

une toute autre raison, vous pouvez interrompre la chauffe, simplement en appuyant sur
le bouton d’arrêt.

 Le bouton de réchauffage vous permet soit de réchauffer du pain déjà grillé soit de

remettre du pain insuffisamment grillé en chauffe pendant un court délai sans modifier le
réglage d’intensité.

 Le bouton décongélation vous permet de griller du pain qui avait été congelé au

préalable.

 Débranchez toujours votre appareil après usage et laissez-le refroidir avant de le ranger

ou de le manipuler.

 Un emplacement de rangement de cordon est prévu sur le dessous de votre grille-pain et

se présente sous la forme de pattes. Lors du rangement de votre appareil, enroulez le
cordon autour de ces pattes.

NETTOYAGE

 Débranchez l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir.
 Un tiroir placé au fond de l’appareil est prévu pour récupérer les miettes de pains lors de

l’usage afin de faciliter le nettoyage de cette partie difficilement accessible. Pour l’ouvrir,

il vous suffit de tirer sur sa poignée pour le faire coulisser. Pour le remettre en place,
effectuez la manœuvre en sens inverse.

 Attention, il est important de vider régulièrement les miettes de pains car une

accumulation trop importante peut être à l’origine d’une mise à feu dans la fente de votre
appareil.

 Nettoyez l’extérieur uniquement avec un chiffon sec légèrement humide.
 NE JAMAIS UTILISER CET APPAREIL PRÈS DE L’EAU, NE JAMAIS PLONGER L’APPAREIL DANS DE

L’EAU OU TOUT AUTRE LIQUIDE.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel
gebruikt.
Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van
meer dan 8 jaar oud en door personen met beperkte fysieke,
sensoriële of mentale capaciteiten of met een gebrek aan
ervaring of kennis als ze onder toezicht staan of vooraf
instructies hebben gekregen betreffende een veilig gebruik

van het toestel en de risico’s die ermee gepaard gaan.

Kinderen mogen in geen geval met het toestel spelen.
Schoonmaak en onderhoud mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen, tenzij ze 8 jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht

Houd het apparaat en zijn snoer buiten het bereik van

 Controleer regelmatig of het snoer niet beschadigd is. Gebruik het toestel niet indien het

snoer of het toestel zelf enige beschadiging zouden vertonen. Een beschadigd snoer
dient te worden vervangen door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst
dienen te worden uitgevoerd door een bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst

 Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de

gebruiksaanwijzing.

 Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te

reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een afwasmachine.

 Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.
 Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt.
 Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge ruimte.
 Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant werden aanbevolen. Dit kan

gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.

 Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer

nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het
snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.

 Zet het toestel op een tafel of op een voldoende stabiel oppervlak zodat het niet valt.
 Wacht tot het toestel volledig is afgekoeld alvorens het te reinigen of op te bergen.

 Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet in aanraking komt met de warme onderdelen van het

toestel en dat u evenmin de warme onderdelen aanraakt.

 Zorg ervoor dat de warme onderdelen van het toestel tijdens het gebruik niet in aanraking

komen met gemakkelijk ontvlambare materialen, zoals gordijnen, een tafelkleed of
dergelijke vermits deze in brand zouden kunnen vliegen. Respecteer een minimum
afstand van één meter tussen het toestel en de gordijnen.

 Gebruik dit toestel niet voor het ontdooien van eetwaren en leg er enkel niet-beboterde

sneetjes brood in waarvan de dikte het omhoog komen niet hindert. Wees hiermee zeer
voorzichtig want broodroosters zijn oorzaak van veel branden tengevolge van het niet­naleven van de veiligheidsvoorschriften.

 Haal regelmatig de broodkruimels uit het toestel. Zorg er steeds voor om de stekker uit het

stopcontact te trekken vooraleer hiermee te beginnen. Raadpleeg het hoofdstuk
"Onderhoud van het apparaat en reiniging".

 Gebruik bij de reiniging van het toestel geen ijzersponsjes omdat dit later een kortsluiting

zou kunnen veroorzaken.

 Uw toestel mag nooit worden aangezet door middel van een externe timer of een

separaat systeem met afstandsbediening.

Verbrandingsgevaar! Raak de hete oppervlakken van
het toestel niet aan. Tijdens het gebruik is er opstijgende
hitte boven het apparaat.

Opgelet! Heet oppervlak!

en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve

OPGELET: zolang u de stekker niet in het stopcontact hebt gestoken, zal de schuifknop niet
ingedrukt blijven!

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING

 Controleer vóór het eerste gebruik of het toestel proper is (zie alinea “Reiniging en

onderhoud”) vermits het in direct contact komt met brood. Controleer ook of er geen

voorwerpen in de gleuf zijn gevallen.

 Gebruik het toestel enkel met een geaard stopcontact.
 Steek de broodsneden in de gleuf. Uw toestel is voor toast en andere broodsoorten

geschikt, zolang de dikte en de lengte in de gleuf passen.

 Duw dan de schuifknop naar beneden tot die stopt (tezelfdertijd zal de binnenrooster in

de gleuf nauwer bij het brood gedrukt worden om het brood ver van de
verwarmingselementen te houden). Wanneer dit gedaan is, laat dan de schuifknop los.
Deze zal in lage positie blijven, dat betekent dat de verwarming in werking is getreden. Als
de hendel meteen naar boven komt, controleer dan of het toestel is aangesloten. De
hendel blokkeert enkel wanneer het toestel onder spanning staat.

 U kunt de bruiningsgraad bepalen om min of meer geroosterde broodsneden te krijgen

door het plaatsen van de regelknop bruiningsgraad op een stand van 1 tot 6. Daarvoor
hoeft u de regelknop met de klok mee te draaien om de intensiteit te verhogen en tegen
de klok om deze te verminderen. Hoe groter het cijfer is, des te sterker zullen de
broodsneden geroosterd zijn.

 Als u tijdens het gebruik meent dat de broodsneden voldoende geroosterd zijn, of ook om

een andere reden, kunt u op de onderbrekingstoets (STOP) drukken om de bereiding
eerder te onderbreken.

 Indien u de baktijd wilt verlengen volstaat het om de verlengtoets in te drukken.
 Met de ontdooifunctie kunt u brood roosteren dat vooraf diepgevroren was.
 Schakel altijd uw toestel na het gebruik uit en wacht tot het volledig is afgekoeld alvorens

het op te bergen of het te bewegen.

 Onder het toestel bevindt zich een snoeropbergvak (haakjes). Voor het opbergen, kunt u

het snoer rond de haakjes wikkelen.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

 Voor het reinigen altijd de stekker uittrekken en het toestel laten afkoelen.
 Om de kruimellade te ledigen, trek aan de hendel onderaan de broodrooster en schud

de broodresten eruit. Om betere toastresultaten te krijgen, dient u regelmatig de kruimels
uit de kruimellade te verwijderen.

 Opgelet! Het is belangrijk de kruimellade regelmatig te ledigen. Een opstapeling van

kruimels in het toestel zou kunnen aanbranden waardoor het toestel in brand zou kunnen
vliegen.

 De buitenkant kunt u met een licht bevochtigd doek afstoffen.
 DOMPEL HET TOESTEL NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF ENIG ANDERE VLOEISTOF.
 Verder onderhoud dient u aan een erkend technicus over te laten, zoniet vervalt de

waarborg.

MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2012/19/EU

Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Daarom mag uw apparaat,

zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool , niet met
het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel naar een
gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het overeenkomstig de
richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal worden.

ErP-verordening – EU-richtlijn 1275/2008

Wij, Team Kalorik Group SA/NV, bevestigen hierbij dat ons product voldoet aan de vereisten
van richtlijn 1275/2008/EU. Ons product beschikt niet over een stand-bystand (slaapstand),
want de broodrooster schakelt zich volledig uit onmiddellijk nadat het roosteren van het brood
is beëindigd en verbruikt dan bijgevolg geen elektriciteit!

De handleiding is op simpele aanvraag ook verkrijgbaar in elektronisch formaat bij de
klantendienst (zie garantiekaart).

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD

Lea detenidamente el modo de empleo antes de utilizar el
aparato.
Importante: Las personas (incluidos niños) con incapacidades
físicas, sensoriales o mentales, o sin experiencia o
conocimiento nunca deben utilizar el aparato, salvo si están
bajo la vigilancia de una persona responsable de su seguridad
o si recibieron previamente instrucciones con respecto al uso
seguro del aparato.
Es necesario vigilar a los niños para que no jueguen con el
aparato.

 Antes de utilizar el aparato, compruebe que el voltaje de la red eléctrica coincide con el

 Compruebe de vez en cuando que el aparato no esté dañado y no utilice su aparato si

el cable o el aparato están dañados por el motivo que sea. Cualquier reparación debe
ser realizada por un servicio cualificado competente(*). Si el cable está dañado, debe ser
reemplazado por un servicio cualificado competente(*).

 Utilice el aparato sólo para usos domésticos y de la manera indicada en el modo de

empleo.

 No sumerja nunca el aparato en el agua o en cualquier otro líquido ni para su limpieza ni

por cualquier otra razón.

 No utilice el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor.
 La clavija eléctrica debe ser desenchufada antes de limpiar o guardar el aparato.
 Procure no utilizar el aparato en el exterior y colóquelo en un sitio seco.
 No utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante, ello puede conllevar un riesgo

para el usuario y dañar el aparato.

 No mueva nunca el aparato estirando del cable. Procure que el cable no se enganche

en alguna parte, a fin de evitar posibles caídas del mismo. Evite enrollar el cable
alrededor del aparato y no lo tuerza.

Para eliminar todo residuo procedente de la producción, antes de utilizar por primera vez su

 Si desea descongelar pan, presione el botón descongelación.
 Desenchufe siempre el aparato después de usarlo y déjelo enfriar antes de tocarlo o

guardarlo.

 En la base del tostador hay unas pestañas que sirven para recoger el cable. Cuando

guarde su tostador enrolle el cable alrededor de las pestañas.

LIMPIEZA

 Desconecte el aparato de la toma de corriente, déjelo enfriar.
 Una bandeja situada al fondo del tostador está prevista para recoger las migas durante

el uso para una limpieza más fácil. Para quitarla, hágala deslizar con el asa. Para volver a
colocarla, proceda en el modo contrario.

 ¡Cuidado! Es muy importante vaciar la bandeja recogemigas regularmente. Las migas

que han acumulado en el tostador podrían quemarse y el aparato incendiarse.

 Limpie el exterior del aparato con un paño ligeramente húmedo.
 NO COLOQUE NUNCA EL APARATO CERCA DEL AGUA. NO LO SUMERJA NUNCA EN AGUA

O CUALQUIER OTRO LIQUIDO.

 Los daños provocados por un uso inapropiado o la abertura del aparato no están

eléctricos y equipos electrónicos deberían ser destruidos de acuerdo con unas normas

indica el símbolo en la placa de datos técnicos, su aparato no debería ser tirado en un
contenedor municipal sino que debería ser devuelto a la tienda, o dejado en un punto de

PARA A SUA SEGURANÇA

Antes de utilizar o aparelho leia com sentido de
responsabilidade as instruções de funcionamento.
Importante: As pessoas (incluídas as crianças) com
incapacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais, ou sem
experiência ou conhecimento não devem utilizar o aparelho
excepto se estiverem a ser vigiadas por uma pessoa
responsável pela sua segurança ou se receberam
previamente instruções relativas ao uso seguro do aparelho.
Convém vigiar as crianças para certificar-se que não joguem
com o aparelho.

 Antes de ligar a ficha do cabo da alimentação à tomada eléctrica certifique-se que a

corrente eléctrica tem a potência igual à indicada na placa sinalética do aparelho.

 Mantenha o aparelho sob vigilância quando em funcionamento.
 IMPORTANTE: caso a alavanca com fecho para baixar e elevar o pão fique bloqueada

durante o funcionamento( por exemplo provocada por pedaços de pão demasiados
grossos) e o pão começar a queimar desligue de imediato o aparelho e retire a ficha do
cabo da alimentação da tomada eléctrica. Depois do aparelho completamente frio
retire os pedaços do pão e limpe-o. Se o problema persistir com pedaços de pão
cortados à medida das aberturas então não utilize o aparelho e leve-o a um centro de
assistência técnica competente para efectuarem a reparação.

 Verifique com regularidade o estado do aparelho e em caso de danos leve-o a um

serviço técnico competente para o analisar e reparar(*). Se o cabo da alimentação
estiver danificado este tem de ser obrigatoriamente substituído pelo que deve levar o
aparelho a um serviço técnico competente(*).

 Utilize o aparelho unicamente para os fins domésticos e de acordo com as instruções de

utilização.

 O aparelho nunca deve ser mergulhado na água ou em qualquer outro líquido seja para

a limpeza ou por qualquer outra razão.

 Não ponha o aparelho próximo de fontes de calor.
 Retire a ficha do cabo da alimentação da tomada eléctrica antes de limpar ou guardar

 Durante o funcionamento se não quiser o pão mais torrado, ou por outra razão qualquer,

o aquecimento pode ser interrompido através da compressão do botão de paragem.

 O botão de reaquecimento permite reaquecer pão já torrado ou não suficientemente

torrado, isto sem alterar a posição da temperatura seleccionada.

 O botão de descongelação permite torrar o pão que foi congelado.
 Retire a ficha do cabo da alimentação da tomada eléctrica sempre que deixar de

utilizar o aparelho. Deixe-o arrefecer antes de o guardar ou o deslocar para outro local.

 O cabo da alimentação pode ser enrolado na base do aparelho fazendo passar o cabo

pelas saliências aí existentes.

LIMPEZA

 Retire a ficha do cabo da alimentação da tomada eléctrica e deixe o aparelho

arrefecer totalmente antes de proceder à limpeza.

 Na base do aparelho encontra-se uma gaveta de migalhas de pão que se retira

puxando pela pega. Para voltar a colocar no lugar proceda de forma inversa.

 Atenção: é importante que regularmente retire as migalhas do interior do aparelho. Se o

não fizer pode acontecer que peguem fogo.

 O corpo da torradeira deve ser limpo com um pano húmido.
 NUNCA UTILIZE ESTE APARELHO PERTO DE ÁGUA NEM NUNCA O MERGULHE EM ÁGUA OU

UM QUALQUER OUTRO LIQUIDO.

 Nenhuma responsabilidade pode ser exigida se a utilização do aparelho não tiver sido

conforme a utilização indicada no folheto. A garantia perde a validade se o aparelho for

AVVERTENZE

Leggere attentamente le istruzioni prima di utilizzare
l’apparecchio.
Importante: Le persone (inclusi i bambini) che non sono
capaci di utilizzare l’apparecchio, sia per incapacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali, sia per mancanza di esperienza o di

conoscenze, non devono per niente utilizzare l’apparecchio

tranne se sono sorvegliati da una persona responsabile per la
loro sicurezza o se hanno previamente ricevuto istruzioni

relative all’uso sicuro dell’apparecchio.
Sorvegliare i bambini perché non utilizzino l’apparecchio come

un giocatolo.

 Prima di mettere in funzione l’apparecchio, controllare che la tensione della rete elettrica

corrisponda esattamente a quella dell’apparecchio.

 Non lasciare l’apparecchio incustodito durante il funzionamento.
 IMPORTANTE: se la maniglia della pinza del tostapane è bloccata durante il

funzionamento (per esempio perchè le fette del pane sono troppo spesse) ed il pane
inizia a bruciarsi, togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente immediatamente, attendere che
sia completamente raffreddato per rimuovere il pane e per pulirlo. Se il problema
continua a verificarsi, rivolgersi ad un centro assistenza autorizzato anche per eventuali
riparazioni.

 Verificare regolarmente che l'apparecchio non sia danneggiato. Non accendere

l’apparecchio qualora il cavo o l’apparecchio stesso dovessero presentare un qualsiasi

danneggiamento. Tutte le riparazioni devono essere eseguite da un servizio qualificato(*).
Un cavo danneggiato deve essere sostituito da un servizio qualificato(*).

 Quest'apparecchio dovrà essere destinato solo all’uso domestico e nella maniera

indicata in queste istruzioni.

 Non immergere l'apparecchio in acqua o in altro liquido, né per pulirlo né per qualsiasi

altra ragione.

 Allo stesso modo , onde evitare scottature non toccare le superficie calde.
 Tenere il cavo elettrico a debita distanza dalle parti calde dell’apparecchio.
 Assicurarsi che le parti calde dell’apparecchio non entrino in contatto con materiali

facilmente infiammabili come tende, tovaglie...poiché durante il funzionamento
potrebbero incendiarsi. Rispettare una distanza minima di 1 metro fra l’apparecchio e

 Non utilizzare l'apparecchio per scongelare cibo e introdurre soltanto fette di pane non

spalmate, con uno spessore che non blocchi il rilascio della fetta. Fare molta attenzione

perché il mancato rispetto di queste norme di sicurezza può danneggiare l’apparecchio e

causare incendi.

 Rimuovere le briciole di pane dall’apparecchio dopo l’uso. Togliere sempre la spina dalla

presa di corrente prima di rimuovere le briciole. Consultare il paragrafo “Pulizia”.

 L’apparecchio non deve mai essere accesso tramite un timer esterno o un altro sistema di

comando a distanza separato.

Quando questo simbolo è apposto su una superficie
particolare; accentua la messa

AVVERTENZE DI UTILIZZO

PRIMA DEL PRIMO USO

Per eliminare tutti i residui proveniente della produzione, usate il tostapane a vuoto ( senza
pane) almeno due volte prima del primo uso; mettendo il pulsante del termostato su un livello
di potenza media. Un leggero fumo potrebbe allora emanare.

UTILIZZO

 Prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio per la prima volta, controllare che sia pulito (vedere

paragrafo "Pulizia") giacché è in contatto diretto con il pane. Verificare che non ci sia
nessun oggetto nella pinza.

 In anzitutto, collegare la spina dell'apparecchio ad una presa di terra.
 Introdurre le fette di pane nella pinza. L'apparecchio è concepito per ricevere tosti o altre

fette di pane se il loro spessore e la loro lunghezza sono inferiori a quelli della pinza.

 Spingere l’interruttore verso il basso fino al bloccaggio (le griglie all'interno della pinza si

stringeranno attorno al pane per mantenerlo lontano dalle resistenze). Quindi lasciarlo:
rimarrà abbassato a significare che la cottura è in corso. Se l’interruttore torna nella

posizione di partenza, verificare che l’apparecchio sia alimentato, poiché l’interruttore si
blocca solo quando l’apparecchio è collegato alla presa di corrente.

 Si può regolare l’intensità del calore per la cottura in modo continuo grazie alla

manopola di regolazione , posizionandola su uno dei sette livelli (1-6). E’ sufficiente
ruotarla in senso orario per aumentare l’intensità del calore e in senso antiorario per

diminuirla.

 Se si desidera interrompere il funzionamento è sufficiente spingere il pulsante di arresto.
 Se si desidera riscaldare pane è sufficiente spingere il pulsante per riscaldamento, senza

intervenire sul selettore.

 Se si desidera scongelare pane è sufficiente spingere il pulsante scongelamento.
 Staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente dopo l'uso e lasciar raffreddare

completamente l'apparecchio prima di riporlo o di toccarlo.

 Al di sotto dell’apparecchio è presente l’alloggiamento del cavo di alimentazione.

Avvolgere il cavo attorno alle staffe quando si ripone l’apparecchio dopo l’uso.

PULIZIA

 Staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente e lasciare l'apparecchio raffreddare

prima di pulirlo.

 Un cassetto situato nel fondo dell'apparecchio è previsto per raccogliere le briciole di

pane durante l'uso per facilitare la pulizia di questa parte difficile di accesso. Per aprirlo,
basta farlo scorrere con la maniglia. Per riposizionarlo, procedere al contrario.

 E' importante svuotare regolarmente il cassetto raccoglibriciole per rimuovere eventuali

ZASADY BEZPIECZNEGO UŻYTKOWANIA

Zanim zaczniesz uzywać urzadzenie przeczytaj uwaznie
instrukcję.
Ważne: Osoby (w tym dzieci, które ze względów zdrowotnych
lub innych mających wpływ na bezpieczne użytkowanie
urządzenia, nie mogą należycie obsługiwać urządzenia nie

MASURI DE SIGURANTA

Va rugam cititi cu atentie aceste instructiuni inainte de a folosi aparatul.

Important: persoanele (inclusiv copii) care nu sunt capabile sa
foloseasca produsul in siguranta, datorita capacitatii lor fizice,
senzoriale sau mentale, sau datorita lipsei de experienta sau
cunostere, nu trebuie niciodata sa foloseasca produsul decat
daca sunt supravegheati de o persoana responsabila cu
siguranta lor sau daca ei anterior au primit instructiuni privind
folorirea aparatului.
Supravegherea indeaproape este necesara pentru a
impiedica copiii sa foloseasca aparatul ca pe o jucarie.

 Verificati daca tensiunea la care conectati aparatul corespunde cu tensiunea

recomandata.
 Nu lasati niciodata aparatul nesupravegheat in momentul folosirii . Nu il lasati la indemana

copiilor sau persoanelor incapable.
 Verificati periodic daca cablul de alimentare este intact. Nu utilizati aparatul daca se

observa semne de deteriorare a produsului sau a cablului de alimentare.

 Nu deconectati aparatul tragand de firul de alimentare. Verificati inainte ca firul de

alimentare sa nu fie prins, rasucit sau indoit.

 Scoateti din retea aparatul atunci cand nu il folositi.
 Acest tip de aparat nu este profesional si de aceea nu poate fi folosit in mod continuu

(fara pauze).

 Este indicat ca aparatul sa fie curat inainte de a-l folosi la prepararea alimentelor.
 Nu atingeti aparatul in timpul functionarii. Pericol de ardere.
 Fiti siguri ca atunci cand il folositi nu intra in contact cu materiale inflamabile (haine,

perdele). Pericol de incendiu. Se recomanda pastrarea unei distante de 1m intre aparat si

PROTECTIA MEDIULUI

Pentru protectia mediului si protejarea sanatatii omului, echipamentele electrice si electronice
uzate trebuie reciclate, in conformitate cu regulile specifice, aplicabile atat furnizorilor, cat si
