Update guide for Mimic 1.1.00 firmware update
This document describes the firmware update procedure for your TC electronic Mimic doubler pedal.

- default settings have been retuned to minimize possible combfilter artefacts when used in mono
with 2 or 3 voice mode
Preparing the firmware update:
1) Download and save the Mimic firmware updater 1.1.00 from the TC electronic website using a
PC or Macintosh computer: http://www.tcelectronic.com/mimiq-doubler/support/
2) Connect your Mimic pedal to your Mac or PC computer using a mini USB cable
3) Get your Mimic into Boot mode by inserting the power plug while holding down the footswitch
Your Mimic LED will turn green, indicating it is ready to receive the firmware upload
4) Start the firmware update application ( -> your pedal name should be shown in the device status
field as shown in the screenshot below)
5) Click on the “update” button to start firmware upload
6) Wait until the progress bar has reached 100% and the status parameter displays:
“firmware upgrade successful”
