Battery Information
1. This timer operates on 2 AAA batteries (included. Remove
any plastic wrap from the batteries before proceeding.)
Some models have a static cling label on the lens to
prevent scratching. Please remove before use.
2. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of
the timer.
3. Insert the 2 AAA batteries with the correct polarity
orientation. (Please note: Do not mix old and new
batteries. Do not mix alkaline standard (carbon-zinc)
or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Do not
dispose of this product or batteries in re, as batteries
inside this product may explode or leak.)
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.
5. Replace both batteries if “Lo” appears on the screen or
if readings grow dim or irregular.
Clock Setting
1. Press and hold “VOL” (TIMER/CLOCK) for 3 seconds until
the ”CLOCK” icon and digits appear.
2. Press “HR” to set the hours. Press “MIN” to set the
minutes. Press “SEC” to set the seconds. Press and hold
the buttons to advance the digits quickly.
3. Press and hold “VOL” (TIMER/CLOCK) for 3 seconds to
return to TIMER mode if desired.
Timer setting
1. Press and hold “VOL” (TIMER/CLOCK) for 3 seconds until
the “TIMER” icon and digits appear.
2. Press “HR” to set the hour. Press “MIN” to set the
minutes. Press “SEC” to set the seconds. Press and hold
the buttons to advance the digits quickly.
3. Press “START/STOP” to start the timer.
4. To pause the timer, press “START/STOP”. Press to start
timing again. To reset timer to zero, rst pause the timer,
then press “HR” and “MIN” at the same time.
5. When the timer reaches zero, the alarm sounds and the
timer begins to count up. Press “START/STOP” to stop the
alarm. Press “START/STOP” again to recall the last set
time. Press “HR” and “MIN” at the same time when the
timer is paused to reset to zero.
6. Press and hold “VOL” (TIMER/CLOCK) for 3 seconds to
return to CLOCK mode if desired.
7. The timer will time up to 24 hours, 59 minutes and 59
seconds.

Adjust Alarm Volume
The timer has 4 alarm volume settings: off, low (65
decibels), medium (75 decibels), and high (85 decibels).
Press “VOL” (TIMER/CLOCK) to cycle through the volume
settings while in TIMER mode. (Bell “ “ icon = OFF. One
volume icon bar = low. Two volume icon bars = medium.
Three icon volume bars = high.)
Count up feature
The timer will also count up. Press “START/STOP” when
the timer reads “00:00” and the timer will count up. Press
“START/STOP” again to pause and start timing. Press “HR”
and “MIN” at the same time to reset to zero.
Backlight feature
Press the “LIGHT” button to activate a backlight for 4
seconds.

Taylor® warrants this product to be free from defects in
material or workmanship (excluding batteries) for one
(1) year for the original purchaser from date of original
purchase. It does not cover damages or wear resulting
from accident, misuse, abuse, commercial use, or
unauthorized adjustment and/or repair.
If service is required, do not return to retailer. Should this
product require service (or replacement at our option),
please pack the item carefully and return it prepaid,
along with store receipt showing the date of purchase
and a note explaining reason for return to:
